Suffer the Pain for True Happiness

Integra Fairbrook Windgates Helling sat in the library chair, reading from her favorite book when the wide double oak doors where thrown open by her servant, Walter following closely behind. Alucard was carrying one of the computer technicians from the 2nd floor wing by the back of the man’s blue uniform collar. The man held a computer disk in his hands, as if it was his only means of staying safe. Alucard threw the man in front of Integra in fury and growled at the man. “What is the meaning of this Alucard? What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Alucard turned to Integra, pulling his orange sunglasses from his face, revealing eyes full of murderous intent. He could barely control his temper at the present moment.

Walter took the disc from the cowering man on the floor. The man retreated into a fetal position, rocking and murmuring with fear at the creature behind him. Alucard had heard the transmission when he had passed through the technology wing looking for Walter. “Play the transmission.” Alucard growled out. Integra had never seen Alucard this furious, and to be completely honest, she was terrified of him at that moment. Walter inserted the disc into the computer, and turned the volume on high for all to hear. Integra could hear Seras trying to get a lock and reply from Hellsing. Just after she had received the transmission back, the line went static. Seras bloody scream could be heard in the background and then an all too familiar voice to Alucard spoke.

“This is the true end of everything you hold dear Master Drake. It will be a pleasure to torture you.” The line then went dead. Integra was utterly confused but Walter on the other hand, had a look of complete horror and surprise. Alucard turned from his master and fighting companion to try and calm down. He was not one normally to become so infuriated this quickly but that voice only needed to be heard once and everything flashed red. Not only did the undead fucker have a long and brutal history with Alucard but he dared to touch something percious. Alucard would not admit it willingly but his fledgling had started to grow on him.

“Who in the bloody blazes is that. And why did he kidnap Seras.” Integra said to her servant but he didn’t answer. He was too furious to even hear her, so Walter took the chance to explain. “Sir Integra you may wish to sit down. This is a complex situation.” Integra took her seat back in the chair she had originally been sitting in and sighed. Walter took a few steps forward as Alucard walked to the window to stare at the blood red moon. “The man from the transmission is not a man at all but a vampire, one of master Alucard’s oldest and most terrifying enemies. Alucard sired the man you heard because the man had given his life to help master Alucard escape in a raid upon his castle in the late 1600’s. He used to be quite the student until he was given the true power of a vampire, he and master Alucard have been brutal enemies ever since. The man had never wanted to live forever and in giving him immortality, the man swore to harm all that was dear to master Alucard since.”

Integra was very surprised by the concept of Alucard having a fledging, at least besides the ones that he would keep as coffin mates anyway. Integra now understood why Alucard was so furious about the transmission and his lust for blood and revenge. The one thing she didn’t understand was why he was even more furious about the creature kidnapping Seras. It was as though Alucard cared about his fledgling, which Integra had thought would never happen but maybe it finally had. Maybe he did care for her, his actions near the window were a matter of concern as well.

“Alucard, turn around.” Integra ordered from her chair as she lit a cigar. Alucard turned slowly, the bloodlust in his eyes growing stronger by the minute. Integra took a puff of the cigar and blew it out in a white cloud as she thought quickly. She decided to give Alucard free reign of what to do. Knowing that it was a stupid thing to ask him what he wanted to do, she knew that if anyone was going to save Seras Victoria, it would her master and no one else. “What do you want to do about this situation?” Integra asked her servant as he slowly gave her a lustful smile, but the lust was for things not even mentionable in polite conversation.

“You ask this question of me my master, when you already know the answer.”Alucard smiled even more as Integra chuckled. She sat forward with her elbows on her knees, with her hands folded over her mouth. “You know what to do. It’s the same mission as was given to Seras. Search and Destroy. Do not return here without killing that mother fucking bastard and retieving Seras. So you understand, Servant?” Integra sternly said to Alucard as the undead creature smiled at her in a fangy grin.

“Perfectly my master.” Alucard turned to leave and was about to phase through the floor when Integra turned to Walter. She spoke to Walter in the same furious tone as she had spoken to Alucard. “You will go with him Walter. Search and destroy all ghouls in the area. If there are any sired in the area, eliminate.” Integra pushed herself out of the chair and walked slowly to the window with a slight limp. The limp was from an old active injury from the fight with Millennium. “Leave as soon as possible. I’ll have the helicopter ready for you in ten minutes Walter.” Integra said over her shoulder. Alucard phased through the floor while slipping on his glasses.

Alucard smiled again and then phased out. Walter left the room as he heard a sinister laugh which he assumed was from Alucard. Alucard waited for Walter to board the helicopter and disappeared into a flurry of bats. Just as he disappeared, the moon above, a pure white blue, turned to blood red in an instant. The midnight sky took a red hue as the helicopter took off and headed in the direction of Seras Victoria.

A/N sorry that took so long people, I had exams then a death in the family. I tried to get it out as fast as possible but things kept coming up.

Seras: Whatever you do to me I won’t forgive you Jaz.

Alucard: Maybe there are a few good things in store, I love the way you did my reaction (fangy grin) so violent and savage.

Jasmine: Yes I’m sure you did, wait until the next chapter though, it’s going to be good. Lots of moments. (wink wink, hint hint)

Seras: What do you mean, moments.

Alucard: Interesting, are they of the torture type for Seras.

Jasmine: Maybe. You’ll just have to see.
