Chapter 4: Old enemy, new friend?
Author’s comments: hey people! This is my first ever FanFic, and well... I couldn’t resist doing one about the Bakura’s. They are just so perfect for each other. You know the saying, “opposites attract.” [WARNING! SPOILER ALERT!!!] Oh and I also based this on both the normal TV series’ and the “Shadow games” series. One more thing...I am English but I'm trying to translate this into American as best as I can, so I'm sorry if there is something confusing to the American language in this FanFic. Any way. It had just started to rain heavily outside, by the time Yami-no-Bakura and Ryou had got into the block of flats they were soaking wet. As soon as they got into their flat Yami-no-Bakura quickly undid all of the buttons on his shirt revealing his millennium ring. Ryou sighed. “We had sex about an hour ago.” Ryou said pouting. Yami-no-Bakura glanced at his aibou.
“I wasn’t planning to fuck you I was planning to bring Atemu back.” Yami-no-Bakura said sitting cross legged on the floor, preparing for some magic. Ryou looked at him shocked.
“Wow. I wouldn’t have expected you to bring back your arch nemesis let alone keep a promise. You really have changed.” Ryou said walking into the bathroom to pick up a towel.
((Only for you...)) Yami-no-Bakura thought to himself. Yami-no-Bakura moved his hands to the side of his millennium ring so that the sides of his palms were touching his torso. Yami-no-Bakura closed his eyes and concentrated. All five spikes of the millennium ring pointed forward and yellow lasers came from their tips and creating a yellow, circle portal in the wall. Then Ryou walked back in completely naked apart from a towel wrapped around his hair. Ryou took one look at the portal.
“Ooh, shiny.” Ryou said impressed. Yami-no-Bakura’s eyes shot open and he looked at Ryou, the portal faded and the spikes fell lifelessly.
“Do you mind?” Yami-no-Bakura said trying to hold back his annoyance. “This is hard enough as it is and I don’t need you distracting me with your naked body.” Ryou smiled and posed.
“sorry.” Ryou said with a cheeky wink, Ryou then left the room. Yami-no-Bakura wiped the drool away from the side of his mouth and started again. Just like last time the yellow portal appeared and Ryou walked back in. Without saying anything or making a noise, Ryou sat on the sofa and watched the portal. Yami-no-Bakura seemed to be struggling, but he was never one to give up without a fight. Ryou continued to watch the portal and he started to see something inside it. It was hazy but was gradually taking form. It was Atemu. Atemu gasped and looked around still in the portal and still wearing his pharaoh clothes. Atemu saw Yami-no-Bakura and he growled slightly.
“Bakura!” Atemu shouted angrily. “What are you doing and where am I?!” Atemu asked looking around in confusion and anger. Bakura didn’t open his eyes or say anything. Ryou knew that if Yami-no-Bakura was distracted they wouldn’t be able to get Atemu back. Ryou quickly grabbed a piece of paper and scribbled something on it, Ryou walked over to the portal handing Atemu the piece of paper. It read “We’re trying to get you back. You’re in my apartment.” Atemu looked at Ryou. “Ryou... why are you doing this?” Atemu asked. Ryou rolled his eyes and snatched the piece of paper back from him and wrote something else on it. “Yugi asked.” It read. Atemu seemed to smile as he read this. “Mou hitori no boku...” Atemu said. Yami-no-Bakura groaned.
“Look are you coming or not it’s bloody hard to keep this thing open!” Yami-no-Bakura shouted at him. Atemu thought for a moment.
“I don’t know, I'm pharaoh of Egypt I can’t just leave...” Atemu said thoughtfully. Yami-no-Bakura growled at hearing this. “All right, all right fine.” Atemu reached his hand out of the portal and Ryou grabbed it. With one quick powerful tug Ryou was on the floor and Atemu on top of him. Yami-no-Bakura stopped and the portal closed, the spikes of the ring fell again. Yami-no-Bakura and Atemu stood up. Yami-no-Bakura smiled at Atemu and with one quick swing Atemu punched Yami-no-Bakura on the nose sending him stumbling backwards and falling onto the sofa. “You bastard!” Atemu shouted.
“Why does that keep happening to me?” Yami-no-Bakura said pouting while standing back up. Atemu stepped forward not noticing Ryou still on the floor.
“Because you’re an evil sadistic psycho who killed thousands just to try and take over the world!” Atemu shouted with an obvious growl in his tone. Yami-no-Bakura laughed slightly.
“Okay first off, you just listed my best features. And secondly I’ve changed, just ask Ryou.” Yami-no-Bakura said. Atemu locked eyes with Yami-no-Bakura.
“What do you think Ryou?” Atemu said still staring at Yami-no-Bakura. Ryou just lay underneath Atemu in an uncomfortable spot where he could see up his man dress.
“Well, first off I'm thinking why they didn’t have underwear in Egypt.” Ryou said jokingly. Atemu looked down and jumped away from Ryou. Ryou giggled slightly and continued. “And also yeah, he has changed. Even Yugi thinks so.” Ryou said standing up ((Only because I caught him sucking off Joey...)) Ryou thought. Atemu smiled again.
“Fine. I believe you.” Atemu said nodding his head at Ryou. “Do you have some spare clothes I could borrow?” Atemu asked looking at his Egyptian pharaoh clothes. Ryou smiled.
“I think I have some.” Ryou said going into his bed room. Atemu watched him leave. And without knowing it Yami-no-Bakura walked up behind Atemu.
“You and I both know that what you said wasn’t the reason you punched me.” Yami-no-Bakura whispered in his ear from behind. Atemu jumped at the sound of his voice. He turned his head, not his body, just so that he could see him slightly.
“Well I'm sorry but one night with you wasn’t enough.” Atemu whispered back, growling slightly. Yami-no-Bakura chuckled his evil chuckle which always turned Atemu on. And this time did not fail to impress.
“Well it was for me.” Yami-no-Bakura smiled and licked Atemu’s ear from behind. Atemu moaned with discomfort... or was it comfort? Atemu couldn’t tell, but all he did know is that he wanted it. Badly. Yami-no-Bakura took a couple of steps back so it didn’t look suspicious. “But I'm with Ryou now. And I love him so don’t expect any more from me.” He whispered louder, loud enough that Atemu could hear but quiet enough so that Ryou didn’t. Ryou re entered the room with a pair of dark blue jeans and a dark green shirt. “umm. Ryou? Aren’t those...”
“The clothes I bought you earlier? Yeah.” Ryou said finishing Yami-no-Bakura’s sentence with a smile. “But I'm sure he’ll give you them back when he gets his own clothes. Right?”Ryou said looking to Atemu who was still confused about the assault he just got from Yami-no-Bakura.
“Umm. Yeah.” Atemu said waking up from his little dream land. Ryou looked down and noticed Atemu’s erection. Ryou held back a laugh.
“We’ll look who else’s up.” Ryou said with a smile and pointing at his crotch. Atemu looked down and saw the bulge.
“Gah! Sorry... just got a bit. Excited.” Atemu said nervously, his cheeks going red with embarrassment. He sent Yami-no-Bakura a look that said “I'm going to kill you in the most painful way possible.” Yami-no-Bakura replied by giving a look of his own which said. “I’d like to see you try.” Atemu grabbed the clothes and ran into the bedroom to get changed. Ryou watched as he left.
“So. Why did you do it anyway? You know bring Atemu back.” Ryou asked sitting on the sofa and Yami-no-Bakura soon followed. Yami-no-Bakura didn’t answer. “Was it for Yugi?” Ryou asked. Still no answer. “Was it because you think that of you help my friends I’ll like you more?” Yami-no-Bakura gulped slightly which gave it away. “I knew it!” Ryou said in celebration, when Ryou calmed down he said. “It won’t work you know?” Yami-no-Bakura glanced at Ryou with a worried look. A look that said “what?” in a rather sad yet slightly annoyed tone. Ryou leaned over and kissed Yami-no-Bakura on the cheek, gently rubbing the other cheek with his thumb. “I can’t love you any more than I already do.” Yami-no-Bakura laughed slightly.
“So cheesy it works.” Yami-no-Bakura said rolling over on the sofa so he was practically sitting on Ryou, and kissed him softly on the lips. Atemu entered now dressed in Yami-no-Bakura’s clothes and saw the kiss.
“Just because I know about you two doesn’t mean I want to see it.” Atemu said smiling. The two Bakura’s jumped at hearing his voice, they nearly forgot he was there. Ryou pretty much pushed Yami-no-Bakura away from him and leaned over.
“So Atemu. Are you gay too?” Ryou asked. Atemu gave a sarcastic laugh.
“Me? By the powers of Ra... For even thinking that you...” Atemu stopped as he noticed Yami-no-Bakura glaring at him happily. “Yeah I'm gay.” Atemu said pouting. Ryou smiled back as a sort of “it’s okay.” Sign. Atemu sat down next to Ryou but as far away from Yami-no-Bakura as possible. “so, have you two... y’know?” Atemu said nervously. Ryou winked and Yami-no-Bakura just grinned. Atemu smiled back. “So uhh... are we going to see Yugi then?” Atemu sounded a slight bit desperate. Ryou’s eyes widened.
“Damn it I forgot about that.” Ryou said picking up the phone. Yami-no-Bakura stared at Ryou.
((Where the hell did he get that from?)) Yami-no-Bakura asked himself. Ryou dialled in a few numbers and put the phone next to his ear.
“Hello Yugi?” Ryou asked. “Yeah its Ryou... I'm fine. You?... that’s good... no I haven’t told anyone and I wont... yes I know you love him...” hearing those words Atemu looked like his heart had just sank. “Yes... was that the first sexual thing you’ve done to him?” Atemu seemed very uncomfortable. “What do you mean?... look you’re supposed to use lube and a condom... you did what?! You disgusting little...” Ryou looked at Atemu and realised why he called Yugi in the first place. “Look anyway, I’ve got a surprise for you. Meet me at the town centre in about ten minutes for a little surprise.” After finishing Ryou hung up to keep Yugi guessing. Ryou looked at Atemu and noticed that he looked uncomfortable. “You all right?” Atemu fidgeted.
“Yeah I just gotta go bathroom.” Atemu said standing up and walking through a door.
“That’s not the bathroom.” Yami-no-Bakura shouted. Atemu walked back out.
“Shut up.” Atemu said quickly, walking into another room. This time he got it right. Atemu grabbed a towel and shoved it into his face then he started to cry.
“Why aibou...” Atemu said sadly his muffled words barely making it to the edge of the bathroom. Ryou raised an eyebrow.
“He better not be long in there, we have to be in the town centre in ten minutes.” Ryou said to Yami-no-Bakura.
~20 minutes later~
Yami-no-Bakura banged on the bathroom door again. “For fuck sake Atemu for the last time we have to go Ra damn you!” Yami-no-Bakura shouted through the door. Atemu opened the door. “Jeeze what were you doing in there?” Atemu thought for a moment.
“My hair.” Atemu replied. Yami-no-Bakura growled.
“We’re already ten minutes late so let’s just go already.” Yami-no-Bakura said walking towards the door. Ryou and Atemu followed. Yami-no-Bakura opened the door, walked out with the other two walking single file behind him.
After a five minute walk they eventually made it to the town centre. They looked around for Yugi and saw that he was sitting on a bench facing the other way with Joey. Ryou nudged Atemu. “You go.” Ryou said smiling. Atemu walked up behind Yugi and placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Aibou...” Atemu said as soon as he put the hand on his shoulder. Yugi turned around quickly and as soon as he saw Atemu smiling at him his face lit up.
“Mou hitori no boku!” Yugi shouted as he jumped off of the bench and into Atemu, wrapping his arms around him. Atemu hugged back. “I missed you!” Yugi said nearly crying happy tears. Atemu nuzzled his face into his aibou’s hair.
“I missed you too.” Atemu said with his words slightly muffled from the hair.
“Yo, you forgetting about me?” Joey said standing up and walking up to Atemu. Removed his face from Yugi’s hair and looked at Joey with a smile.
“Of course not.” Atemu said letting go of Yugi and shaking hands with Joey. Atemu turned to the two Bakura's and signalled them over. And following the gesture they walked over to Atemu.
“Yes?” Ryou asked as they stood next to Atemu and Yugi.
“Yami-no-Bakura.” Atemu said. “I want to thank you for reuniting me with Yugi, and the rest of my friends. As a way of thanks I would like you to accept this.” Atemu lifted the millennium puzzle by the string. Everyone gasped at the offer.
“Are y-you serious?” Yami-no-Bakura asked shocked. Atemu nodded and untied the puzzle from behind his neck and placing it into Yami-no-Bakura’s hands.
“I have no more need for it.” Atemu said. Yami-no-Bakura smiled. But not his usual evil smile, a genuine happy smile.
“Thank you.” Yami-no-Bakura said, the two words he despised the most. He dropped the string over his head and around the neck. Atemu looked to his aibou.
“So. I heard you have a lover.” Atemu said with a nervous smile. Joey stared at Ryou angrily.
“I thought you said you weren’t gonna tell anyone!” Joey shouted. Atemu looked at Joey with a raised eyebrow.
“He’s with you?” Atemu said in disbelief. “Anyway he didn’t tell me I just over heard you and Ryou on the phone.” Atemu said flicking a blonde bang that fell down over his eye.
“Oh...uh...well this is awkward...” Yugi said blushing. Atemu looked to Yugi.
((Yugi?)) Atemu thought, testing to see if he still had their mind link.
((Yeah?)) Yugi replied in his head. Atemu smiled.
((Just testing something.)) Atemu projected to Yugi. The silence was interrupted as someone familiar came running towards them.
“Hey!” Mokuba shouted from across the street. Mokuba dodged through traffic without a care just to join the group of five. Mokuba rubbed his eyes as he saw two Yugis and two Bakuras. “Huh?”
“Don’t worry, it’s a long story.” Ryou said. “Why are you here Mokuba?” Ryou asked.
“Well my big brother told me to invite Yugi and Joey to a party. But seeing as you’re here too Ryou I might as well invite you too. Seto says that since you’re asshole side disappeared you’ve been ok.” Mokuba said. Yami-no-Bakura pouted and Ryou giggled.
“Okay there are two things that I see wrong with that.” Joey said. “First off, since when did he do anything social? And secondly how did he know that we were here?”
“Well Kaibacorp owns Domino city surveillance so it was pretty easy.” Mokuba said ignoring Joey’s first question. Mokuba’s phone started to ring. “Hold on I should take this.” Mokuba took his phone out of his pocket and answered it. “Hello? Oh hi Seto. Huh? I don’t know they said it was a long story. Should I invite the all? Okay. See you when I get back.” Mokuba hung up. “He says you’re all invited.” Mokuba said looking at Yami-no-Bakura. “Except you.” Yami-no-Bakura rolled his eyes.
“Figures.” Yami-no-Bakura said slightly annoyed yet he did predict it.
“Oh why?” Ryou asked sadly.
“He says he doesn’t like him because he’s evil. Well, it was something like that but with swear words.” Mokuba said.
“Well if he’s not going then I’m not going.” Ryou said folding his arms. Yami-no-Bakura turned to Ryou.
“You can go to a party without me.” Yami-no-Bakura said.
“But I don’t want to.” Ryou said childishly.
“Go. It’ll be nice for you to get some fun.” Yami-no-Bakura said with a smile. Ryou nodded.
“okay.” Ryou said moving into Yami-no-Bakura and kissing him on the lips.
“Gross.” Mokuba said turning his head.
“You can’t tell me you’ve never thought about kissing a guy Mokuba.” Yugi said smiling happily.
“Well once or twice but it doesn’t mean I'm gay.” Mokuba said folding his arms. “Thinking about men makes me manly.”
“Umm... yeah... anyway what is this party about?” Joey asked. “Will there be food?”
“It’s to celebrate Kaibacorp joining with Duke Devlin to create a new chain of game shops.” Mokuba said. “Don’t worry Yugi. Seto and Devlin agreed not to build one here in domino city so that your grandpa still gets business. Oh and yeah there will be food.” Yugi smiled
“Thanks. But the sale of duel monsters has gone a bit downhill recently.” Yugi stated. “But we’re also selling Nintendo wiis now so business is going a bit better than usual.”
“I’ve got to go back now, I’ll see you at... well most of you at the party!” Mokuba said running off.
“I can’t believe that bastard didn’t invite you.” Joey said angrily, turning to Yami-no-Bakura.
“Huh? Since when did you start caring about me?” Yami-no-Bakura said harshly.
“You’re one of us now. A part of the gang. We always care about each other.” Yugi said still smiling.
((oh Ra what have I got myself into?)) Yami-no-Bakura thought while rolling his eyes. “I don’t really like parties that much anyway. Especially Kaiba’s business parties, it’s probably just a fancy type thing with cream table cloths and boring shit like that.”
“Hmm. I doubt Kaiba would just give us the one invite. If he’s that desperate he would send us a letter or a phone call.” Atemu said.
“True.” Yugi said. “Plus he didn’t actually give us a date or time.” Atemu nodded.
“So. Where am I staying?” Atemu asked.
“You can stay at my house if you like.” Yugi said. Joey gave Yugi an uncomfortable look.
“Thank you.” Atemu said. Even though they weren’t directed at him the two words made Yami-no-Bakura cringe.
“Okay well we better get going then.” Yugi said.
“Okay bye.” Ryou said with a smile.
“See ya.” Joey said still looking uncomfortable. Yami-no-Bakura just waved once. Joey sat down on the bench. “What am I gonna do?”
“Hmm? Do about what?” Ryou asked.
“Yugi. It’s clear Atemu loves him and Yugi to Atemu, but I love Yugi too. I'm scared I'm gonna lose him” Joey said with his face in his palms.
“Do you mind me asking how you two got together?” Yami-no-Bakura asked.
“Well. I was helping him on his shift at the game shop. We got bored so decided to play truth or dare. I dared Yugi to go outside and lick a lamppost. So we went outside and he did it. The only problem is we forgot the keys and the door got locked. So we were trapped outside. Then it started to rain and it was cold. I hugged Yugi to keep him warm but he must’a’ taken it the wrong way and he kissed me.” Joey said close to crying.
“Doesn’t sound like love to me.” Yami-no-Bakura said. “Just two friends who were there for each other in a time of need. And I think it’s best if you stay that way.
“Really?” Joey asked with a sniff.
“Really. You two are best off friends not lovers.” Yami-no-Bakura added.
“I guess you’re right.” Joey said standing up. “Well. I’ll get home and call Yugi.” Joey said walking away. “I’ll see you guys later.”
~meanwhile in Kaibacorp~
Seto stroked Joeys face on the screen as he walked away from the other two, while still masturbating with his free hand. “Soon. Soon... dweeb.”

On the way back to the apartment Yami-no-Bakura remembered something. “You wait here, I’ve just got to go buy some stuff.” Yami-no-Bakura said quickly before running off down the street not giving Ryou a chance to say anything. A few minutes later Yami-no-Bakura returned with a pale green plastic bag which looked quite packed.
“What did you buy?” Ryou asked trying to peek into the bag but it was snatched away by Yami-no-Bakura.
“It’s a surprise.” Yami-no-Bakura said grinning deeply. They carried on walking and after another minute or two they returned home. As soon as the door shut Yami-no-Bakura stripped himself of every item of clothing he was wearing and threw himself onto the sofa. “When you’re ready.” Yami-no-Bakura said gently stroking himself and his dick slowly started to harden. “You can tell this wasn’t written by Kaiba. It’s too nice.” Ryou said sitting next to his lover. Ryou heard tyres screeching outside and ran to the window to see a black limousine speeding off. “Wow, special delivery.”
“So are you going?” Yami-no-Bakura asked Ryou turned from the window and looked at his aibou. Ryou sat down next to him and nibbled on his ear lobe.
“Well I don’t want to go without you.” Ryou whispered gently into his lover’s ear. Yami-no-Bakura laughed, pushed Ryou away softly and climbed on top of him.
“Go. It’ll be fun for you.” Yami-no-Bakura said with a smile. Ryou smiled back and pushed him off.
“Okay. I like this new you.” Ryou said walking towards the bedroom. “You’re kind to others.”
