Later that night when everyone else was asleep Jennifer awoke in a cold sweat. White Blaze looked up at her from his position on the floor. Ryo had convinced her to let him stay with her in case anything happened. She patted his head and scratched his ear which caused him to purr. She sighed and got up. She slipped on a robe then slipped outside. White Blaze sensed something was wrong with her and stood and went to Ryo and Sage's room. He pushed open the door then walked over to the bed where Sage's hand was hanging off the bed and licked it. Sage awoke when he felt something wet on his hand. He groaned when he saw it was White Blaze."Ryo. Your cat is here." he said shaking Ryo awake. Ryo looked over Sage's shoulder and sighed.He kissed Sage's bare shoulder and climbed out of bed. "Take me to her White Blaze." he said. Sage plopped his head back on the pillow and watched his boyfriend walk out of the room. Ryo followed White Blaze unitl He saw Jennifer leaning on the outside railing of the balcony in her room. He made a noise to alert her he was there. She looked over her shoulder and watched him join her. Ryo looked at her. "You okay?" he asked. Jennifer sighed and shook her head. " I didn't mean to wake you." she said softly. Ryo smiled." It's okay. Tell me what's wrong maybe I can help you." He said.
"I had a nightmare.I dreamt of what happened to me when I was there. I can still feel the whip stiking me and the cold floor I usually woke up to. I can still his laughter in my head. I can also still hear the screams of the other girls there as he raped them then killed them. I kept wondering why he didn't do the same to me. Then I found out he kept me alive and pure because He like my singing and cooking. The sick bastard. He always made me sing when he had guests." she explained. Ryo looked surprised. "what did these guests look like?" he asked. Jennifer shook her head " I don't know they stayed hidden in the shadows, but I do remember Sekement call one of them Talpa." she said. Ryo stiffen then relaxed. " I understand why you would have nightmares after the torment you went through. I had nightmares after I met him. He had almost killed me once when I was trying to rescue Cye.Then later He blinded me when Mia was trying to find out where Sage was hidden. All of us were seperated. Sage later healed me after I found him and freed him. For weeks I would have nightmares about what if he had killed me, or what if Sage couldn't restore my sight. At first I berated myself for having such thoughts.I mean Sage could heal almost anybody. That's why he's a ronin warroir of light." He said.
Jennifer gasped then looked at Ryo. " Sage is a ronin Warroir?" she asked. Ryo nodded. " So am I. All the guys are." he answered."Sam-"
"I know. He told you to find us. That we can help you with Sekement. It's true. We've dealt with him before, but what we don't understand is...Why did he go back to his old ways. All of the dark lords changed to good." Ryo said. Jennifer thought for a moment."Did he ever have wierd marking on his neck?" she asked. Ryo looked up in surprise. "No...Not that I know of."He said. Jennifer looked back at the landscape." Ryo can I ask you a question?" She asked."I'll understand if you don't want to answer." she added.
"What's the question?" he asked her.
"If...If Sage is the warroir of light then what are you and the other warroirs of?" she asked.Ryo smiled at her."Yeah I can answer that. We also have nicknames that can also tell you what we're warroirs of. Sage is Halo, I'm Wildfire, Kanto is Hardrock, Rowen is Strata and Cye is Torrent. " He said smiling softly. "So your a warrior of fire, Cye-water, Rowen-stars?,and Kanto rock." she said. Ryo nodded. She smiled at him then became sober."Ryo does the nightmares ever stop?" She asked so softly that he wouldn't have heard her if he hadn't been righ beside her.Ryo sighed. He didn't want to lie to her." In time they will,but not right away.Just remember that your not alone anymore. You have us." He said to her.Jennifer nodded and sighed. Ryo put an arm around her and gave her a one arm hug. She leaned into the embrace and started to hum.

Ryo stood silently as the girl sang softly into the night and continued to hold her and vowed to protect her with the very last breath he had.
