Chapter 4: Destinations In Foreign Lands
Author\'s Note: Sorry it has been so long since the up date......I kind of lost motivation on this one. I write on it from time to time....so it will continue slowly but surely.
As Trowa awoke, he felt a slight burning in his head and burning in his rump. He felt like he was being bounced up and down on a log. As he strained his eyes open, light flooded them, sending even more burning in his head. As he became more aware of his surroundings, he was able to recognize the sounds that he heard to be those of horse hooves. He began wondering why there were horses on the beach. His arms were wrapped around something soft, it figured they were around someone. He took a deep breath, and caught a familiar scent. A scent that he held close to him. Soon his eyes became adjusted to the light, and they saw what he expected. Quatre…
Quatre felt the body behind him shifting, “Trowa are you finally awake back there?”
“Yes Quatre, and why are we on a horse?”
“It’s a long story Trowa, I don’t even understand it. Yozak says that we are almost to a city called Spitzweg, were we will be safe, and can rest. ”
“Who is Yozak?”
“The man behind us packing Wufei. From what I could tell he is to be trusted, the alternative was to be captured, by some men that looked to do us harm.”
Trowa looked behind him, and saw an orange haired man sprinting behind about 20 yards. Trowa could see a still unconscious Wufei on the man’s back. Trowa closed his eyes and laid his head upon Quatre’s back, and drifted back to sleep, his hold tightening around Quatre. Unbeknownst to Trowa, Quatre’s checks blushed as a smile formed on his face.

As Duo and Heero followed the farmers, they kept getting unusual looks from the people walking on the road and working in the fields. It could have been that Duo, was nearly naked, only a tight pair of Daisy Dukes were there, trying their best to keep Duo as decent as possible. It also have been Heero, speaking many different languages to the person he was following. Each new language brought new hope to Heero, just to have it his new hopes crashed, as the lead farmer shook his head as like he didn’t understand. But the most likely reason that Duo and Heero were turning so many heads was because of their age. If Heero and Duo had taken the time to look around and see only elderly men and women along with young children, they might have gotten a clue that something was wrong. However, being warped into a strange world, can put people off their games a bit. All the battle age men were in encampments waiting for war, their wives there also, as nurses. The farmer stopped in front of a the largest building in the village. As they followed the farmer into the building, they were surprised by the lack of electricity. The only light was coming from a few candles lit throughout the room. The farmer went to a well dressed man, with a sword hanging from his waist. They exchanged a few words that made no sense to either Heero or Duo. After the new man looked over Duo and Heero the new man, gave the farmer a small sack of gold. As the farmer turned away to leave, the new man looked over Duo and Heero again. The new man stopped the farmer, grabbed the bag of gold, pulled a few coins out of it and handed it back. The farmer quickly made his way out the door. Heero and Duo didn’t like this, they may not of known what was just said, but they knew the actions of being sold out. The slowly back stepped their way to the door. Just as soon as they were about to turn around they heard swords desheathing. They put their hands up. The man that had paid the farmer stepped into the light more. They could see that he was a about the same height as them, and just as light. He didn’t seem to have the same worn and worked clothes or facial features as any of the people they had seen outside. He had long black hair that was braided, and a long scar that ran from his forehead over his right eye and down to the base of his jaw. The man reached into his pocket and pulled out what looked like two ear pieces. He handed them to Heero and Duo, and motioned for them to be put into their ears. Once in their ears the man began to talk.
“Greetings great warriors. Welcome to the great land of Rainel. I am Sir Wilhelm Presdent. My associates and I mean you no harm. I just had to make sure that you two didn’t leave, and since you wouldn’t have been able to get through to you with words, the only option was to physically tell you not to leave. My sincerest apologies.” Sir Wilhelm gave a large bow. “I’m sure you’re wondering why you were brought here, and how. I wouldn’t mind explaining these questions to you over a nice cup of tea and some cake. Follow me please.” Sir Wilhelm turned around and opened some double doors that went outside to a garden. There they found chairs and sat, and soon after, an elderly woman and a young boy came out with a tea tray, filled with different kinds of tea leaves, and many different kinds of cake.

“Now, that we have tea and cake, please allow me to begin.”
As Quatre rode to the top of the hill, he could see the peaks of towers. And flying off of those towers, were large green flags with a large flower on it. He turned the horse and waited for the orange haired man and the now awake Wufei to catch up. “Hey Yozak, is this the city you spoke of?”
Yozak caught up, and bent over a bit trying to catch his breath a bit. “It is Quatre, and I have never said this before but, thank the Great One, that we’re here. Lord Stoffel said he would give up food and shelter, before we leave for Covenant Castle.
