Chapter 4
Dr. Kiso shuts the door and turns to Asami-san who lies on the bed.
He refuses to look at the face.
He wished he could refuse to look at the stomach but it was impossible.
It was.... horror.
The stomach was so big...
... so inflated.
It looks like it would burst every second.
He had seen a lot of women carrying 2, 3 or 4 children.
He knows exactly three women which gave 6 children birth and one woman with 5 children.
But none of them were ever so...
“Well?” interrupted a voice his thoughts.
“Pardon?”
“Did you know it?”
“Ermm hmmm ähhh...”
“You didn’t know it!”
“Ähmmm, sorry, but it’s right....”
“How could you dare coming in without the information you...”
“Shhh.”
Akihito touches Ryuuichis hand.
“Calm down, it’s not his fault.”
“No, but his son’s fault. How should we take care about this”, he looks at the stomach. “when we didn’t know how much children it would be and when the delivery would be?”
“May I disturb you...”, Kiso interrupted.
“What?”
Both man look at him. Akihito-san was nervous, Ryuuichi-san (he would never name him -sama and when he will die about this, he has his pride! Kiso thought) angry. Very angry.
“For the sake of the children I’ve decided to initiate the delivery right now.”
After that Dr. Kiso pressed a button and a surgeon and the OP-Team burst into the room, followed by two pale bodyguards.
“Is it time, Dr. Kiso?” the surgeon asked.
“Yes, for the children’s sake. I think one heartbeat is flimsier then yesterday.”
“And how many babies will we deliver today?”
“Clearly more than three but I don’t know more, his abdominal wall interfere with the ultrasound.”
"Well, Asami-sama, please could you leave the room?" said the surgeon.
It was not a question, the voice was an order.
"NO!"
A clear refusal.
"Okay, but if you pass out please make sure not to drop on the OP. If you feel the need to vomit please not in the direction of the mother. Don't get in the way and don't disturb us. It could kill someone. IS IT CLEAR?"
Gulp.
"It will be okay." Akihito whispered.
"Yes, it will." Ryuuichi responses.
Two pair of eyes meet each other.
Both men tightened their grip.
"Start it."
One bodyguard fainted.
"You are fired."
