Then I remembered a key fact that might cause an issue. Only State Alchemists can get into the library at central. I\'m not a State Alchemist, Dad is. Then it hit me. I sat up slowly and walked over to Dad. I reached into his pocket and pulled out his watch. I was going to need this to get in.
Why do I have to do it this way? I’ll fly out tonight. Flying takes less time. I’ll fly out, get the clue, and get back before anyone ever notices I’m gone. On second thought . . . I think I’ll just leave the watch here along with a note, go get the clue, and do the rest of this thing by myself.
I hurried up and left the note with the watch on top. I walked upstairs and out onto a balcony. I stood on the railing opened my wings and jumped off. I took flight just before I hit the ground. I looked out over the landscape as I gained altitude. I loved flying. It felt like nothing could touch me when I flew, and really not much could. I was free when I flew.
As I neared Central I started to dive to the ground. I pulled up, landed on my feet, and quickly hid my wings. I was right where Dad and I appeared. I walked over to the library and walked a little ways down the alley beside it. I decided to try to use some transmutation. I clapped my hands together and placed them on the wall. I walked through the hole that I made and then fixed it with another clap of my hands and placing them where the wall had been. I walked through the aisles of books and was very tempted to read them all, but tried unsuccessfully to stay focused. I ended up reading every last book whether I was supposed to be able to or not. I did eventually find the book I was looking for and even found the purple paper, but was unable to stop reading all of the books. I simply couldn\'t help it.
After I finally read all of the books I snuck back out the way I came in and walked to the place I appeared. I noticed it was daylight now and that to open my wings to leave would attract a lot of attention. It did me no good to have even gotten the clue. I would just have to wait until nightfall again and that was going to try my nerves. I stuck the clue in my pocket and then started to wonder around Central. I found out that the Alchemy exam was taking place so I decided to give it a whack. I guessed I could last another couple of days or so. I took the written exam in ten minutes, the next day I went through the interview, and on the final day I wung the practical exam. I ended up making a bouquet of gigantic crystal roses.
"Well, well, well. That was brilliant work Kihara," Roy said. "I think we\'ve found our alchemist."
I just stood there staring at my creation. I hadn\'t been trying to make that. I was trying to make only one crystal rose and not nearly that big. A few days later I got my title. I was now \'The Rose Alchemist\'. I decided to leave that night, so I waited until nightfall and walked out to where Dad and I first appeared. I took the note out of my pocket and read it.

"Onto the world of Hellsing," I said to myself.
"Not on your own you don\'t," came Dad\'s upset voice from behind me.
I gulped and slowly turned around.
"Hi, Dad," I said in a small voice with a small wave of my hand.
"What did you think you were going to do?" he asked sounding really upset and hurt.
"I just wanted to do this on my own. Besides you\'re not supposed to help me unless I\'m asking you to confirm what I already know," I said looking at my feet.
"Who decided I couldn\'t help?" Dad asked.
"Kahiri. Duh, or didn\'t you read her note scribbled into that lamp post?" I asked.
"Oh I remember, but I didn\'t think you ever obeyed anyone\'s rules," he said.
"I don\'t, but I want to this time because I want to show her how smart I can be. I want her to know that just because I didn\'t read any of the books she had throughout her childhood until you came to fetch me I\'m still smart. I bet I can retain more knowledge than she can anyway. The fact that I read all the books in your library and Central\'s library is pretty astonishing to me. That and I passed the State Alchemist Certification test. Has she passed that?" I asked.
"No. Wait when did you do that?" he asked.
"I just got my title today. I read through Central\'s library the night I left Winry\'s. I probably read a whole ton of stuff I wasn\'t supposed to too. Anyway, we have another world to travel to. Hellsing here we come!" I called imagining Alucard\'s room.
When I opened my eyes I noticed that everything was black. I rubbed my eyes thinking maybe I just wasn\'t used to the dimness of the room, but that didn\'t help either. I walked over to a wall and felt around for a light switch when I found it I noticed that it was flipped up.
Great I\'m blind here, I thought feeling very agitated.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my room?" asked a voice I could only guess was Alucard.
"I\'m Kihara Kyuseishu; I came here with my father, Kiato Kyuseishu. I don\'t know if he is standing here with me or not. Correct me if I\'m wrong but you sound an awful lot like Alucard who works for Integra Hellsing head of the Hellsing Organization, am I right?" I asked.
"Well, it appears you know quite a bit about things you shouldn\'t. What does your father look like?" Alucard asked.
"He\'s tall, has medium brown hair, golden eyes, bandages on his arms, wearing a white button up shirt with the first three buttons undone, and tight black pants," I said.
"Well I think I just saw him upstairs as I was coming down. Come with me and I\'ll lead you to him," he said grabbing my arm to lead the way.
I have to say I don\'t really like placing my trust in other people, but for some reason I felt like Alucard, Dad, Roy, and Aslan were people I could trust. I let Alucard lead me upstairs and into the lobby.
"Kihara? Oh thank God it\'s you! I thought I lost you!" Dad exclaimed as his hurried footsteps came closer.
He wrapped me in a bear hug and thanked Alucard for finding me and bringing me back to him.
"Dad, you\'re smothering me," I complained pushing away.
"Kihara, what happened to your eyes?" Dad asked.
"It\'s the same as you in Amestris. I\'m blind here," I said simply.
"What are you talking about?" Dad asked.
"I\'ll explain later," I said and turned to where I hoped Alucard was standing. "Do you happen to have a message from Kahiri?"
