The Big Burp
Chapter 4 - Day 3
Before school Kyoya made a point of calling in to see the now extremely pregnant Tamaki.
"Wow! All in one night!" he remarked, noting down the marked change in Tamaki's girth.
"Uh huh and I feel every bit of it" Tamaki sighed, "how a woman does this for nine months is beyond me"
"Ah but she has a gradual process compared to yours. I must say you are doing very well indeed."
"Kyoya?" Tamaki whimpered suddenly just as Kyoya was about to leave, "I'm frightened. It's going to happen today and I'm so scared."
"Don't be. I'm sure that you will be quite alright. Perhaps Jeanie can put you at ease?"
"She would if she would show up" Tamaki pouted "haven't seen much of her at all"
"Well...I have to go but we will all be here after school and if anything happens prior to that just call me"
"Thank you mon ami" Tamaki smiled a tired smile and shuffled his way over to the lounge. He was out of breath, tired and moody. Despite that he was also excited and already loved his little tree spirit. The mix of emotions was getting to him.
Half the day had gone before Jeanie appeared in the room.
"Where have you been?" Tamaki demanded "I needed you!"
"For what? I come to see you and you're little friends are always there. No one even realises I exist!" Jeanie burst into tears.
"I notice you exist. In carrying your little tree spirit aren't i?" Tamaki retorted and went to get up.
"I know it's just... They do so much and..."
"Oui they're my family. I couldn't do it without them and I need you too." Tamaki flopped back down on the lounge.
"You do?" Jeanie sniffed
"Of course I do. Don't forget why I'm in this condition in the first place"
"Why?"
"Because I fell in love the first moment I saw you" Tamaki took Jeanie's hand and kissed it.
Jeanie stayed a few entertaining hours in which Tamaki tried to play the piano with a belly in the way, drank the house out of all the juice and hot chocolate, seemed to lose any short term memory and enjoyed the baby moving with her. Then of course she had to leave.
Tamaki was feeling quite depressed after seeing her disappear in her swirl of leaves. Of course he'd forgotten that his friends were only going to be half an hour away. When he did remember he suddenly was in a much better mood.
"You know baby... Being cooped up with no company isn't much fun" he murmured, stroking his belly "it's good that we don't have to be lonely for long"
Shortly after this little exchange Tamaki felt more uncomfortable than usual. He tried to lie down on his bed with pillows but it just didn't work. Then the discomfort became a feeling similar to bad heart burn. Then, before Tamaki could stop himself, out came a small burb. This was followed by what could only be described as an unpleasent stomach cramp.
"Oh no" Tamaki groaned and tried to remember to relax, "Baby please tell me you aren't coming right now"
