Jing and Libra vs. Kiyo and Gash!

Recap: This chapter is partly based of somewhere in between Episodes 9 and 10.
Ichigo Arc-Chapter 4: Jing and Libra vs. Kiyo and Gash! Jing and Libra Become Their Allies! The 5th Spell! Jong and Yo-Ya vs. Sherî and Burago!
While were traveling through the town, Libra looked stronger than she was when I first met her. After training for a few days, me and Libra were able to unlock 3 of her spells:
Lishield (shield spell)
Bogirena (a blast of energy)
Gravirei (same gravity spell as Brago’s)
Me and Libra were waiting for someone,or should I say, a person and his Mamodo. We had sent a fake letter saying that Gash had won some Yellow-tail.
Libra: (impatient) Geesh, where are they? They were supposed to be here a few minutes ago.
Me: (points) There they are right now.
A few feet from us was Gash (instead of calling him Gasshu) running towards us at a fast speed. Behind him was Kiyo chasing after him. After a while, they stopped and made it over to us.
Gash: (very excited) (eyes sparkling) Okay, where’s the Yellow-tail I won?!
Libra: (talking to Gash) You know, Jing was right when he said that you really love Yellow-tail and that you won’t notice that it’s a trap.
Kiyo: (shocked) I knew it! I knew that Gash winning a contest that he never entered was suspicious!
Me: (talking to Kiyo and Gash) We challenge you two to a battle. (takes out the spellbook)
Kiyo: (shocked) (thinking) That means, (looking at Libra) this girl is a Mamodo! (stops thinking) (talking to Gash) Gash!
Gash: Right, Kiyo!
Kiyo and Gash backed up far away. Kiyo got out Gash’s spellbook.
Me: Bogirena!
Libra held out her hand and launched a blast of energy.
Kiyo: Zakeru!
Gash launched a powerful bolt of lightning from his mouth at the attack. Both attacks collided with each other and exploded.
Me: Bogirena!
Libra held out her hand and launched another blast of energy.
Kiyo: Rashirudo!
A shield made out of two pillars connected a wall of electricity. In the center of the wall was a thunderbolt with a sphere on top. The attack connected with the shield. A few seconds later, it was then sent back at us, plus with electricity surrounding it.
Me: (calm) (comments) Good job, but not good enough. Lishield!
A bronze-colored dome with a purple-colored Zodiac Sign of Libra on it appeared in front of us and took the attack. After a while, the attack disappeared with the shield.
Me: (remembers) (talking to Kiyo and Gash again) I completely forgot to introduce ourselves. (introduces) My name is Jing D. Deverde, and her (gestures at Libra) name’s Libra.
Kiyo: (confused) Libra? As in, one of the twelve signs of the modern Zodiac?
Me: (nods) That’s right, Kiyomaru. And not only that,but, she’s the second strongest of the group as well. Gravirei!
A powerful force of gravity caused Gash and Kiyo to fall to the ground on their stomachs.
Kiyo: This is just like Burago’s spell!
Me: (explains) There’s balance in everything, including gravity. Thanks to her power of balance, Libra can also apply the force of gravity onto her opponents and can also balance the force of gravity to cancel gravity-based spells.
Gash and Kiyo tried to get up but the force of the gravity was strong.
Kiyo: (struggling) (thinking) This is stronger than Burago’s Gurabirei! We’re in big trouble if the enemy gets ready to attack us while we’re down! (stops thinking) (talking to Gash) Gash, try and move!!
Gash: (struggling) I can’t, Kiyomaru! It’s too strong!
Me and Libra were approaching Kiyo and Gash while the spell was still being cast.
Kiyo: (thinking) Oh no! (closes his eyes)
Me: (smiling) That was a great battle you two. Even Libra enjoyed it. (turns toward Libra) Right, Libra?
Libra: (smiling) (agrees) (nods) Yeah, even though they only lasted a few minutes.
I closed the spellbook, which then caused Libra’s spell to disappear. I then placed it into my backpack.
Me: (holds out my hand to Kiyo) Need any help?
Kiyo was suspicious for a few seconds, but then he accepted my hand and I pulled him up to his feet. Libra did the same thing to Gash.
Me: (smiling) So, do you guys want to be friends? Because we have to work together with others in order to help Gash become the Mamodo King.
Gash: (confused) Wait, (talking to Libra) you don’t want to become the Mamodo King?
Libra: (shakes her head) (denies) Nah, (explains) I’ll pass on ruling the Mamodo World. I’d rather just send the evil Mamodos back to the Mamodo World instead.
Me: (holds out my hand) Friends?
Kiyomaru: (smiling) Friends. (shakes my hand)
Meanwhile
Sherî: Reisu!
A small ball of gravity was fired from his hand. It hit the ground and exploded. Sherî and Burago were up against a powerful Mamodo and its spell book reader. They were able to avoid all of Burago’s spells.
Spellbook Reader #1: (familiar voice) Gadyu Yo-Yo!
Fire was launched at them. It was small and was spinning like a wheel.
Sherî: Gigano Reisu!
A larger ball of gravity was fired from his hand. Both attacks collided and created an explosion. The smoke then cleared. The people that Sherî and Burago were battling was Jong and Yo-Ya. Yo-Ya’s yo-yo returned back to her.
Burago: Concentrate and use and more power!
Sherî: (understands) I understand! Aian Gurabirei!
Burago unleashed a destructive beam of gravity at Jong and Yo-Ya.
Jong: (calm) Let’s use “that” spell.
Yo-Ya: (agrees) (nods) It’ll help us against this kind of spell.
Jong: Rein Yo-Yo!
Yo-Yo jumped into the air and spun one of her yo-yos in front of her, fast. Then,gravity-like energy was being emitted from the yo-yo itself, including the string. Brago’s blast of gravity collided with the yo-yo. The blast was deflected and couldn’t get through. Both Jong and Yo-Ya were okay.
Burago: (shocked) They deflected one of my spells with just a yo-yo?! Just who are they?!
Jong: I’m Jong D. Deverde and I am known as the Phantom Bandit. This is my Mamodo, Yo-Ya.
Burago’s blast of gravity stopped. Yo-Ya stopped spinning her yo-yo and placed it back at her side.
Jong: (closes the spellbook) (talking to Yo-Ya) I think that’s enough battling for a while. Besides, I can tell they’re getting tired. We should let them off for now.
Yo-Ya: If you say so.
Jong and Yo-Ya walked away. They then disappeared.
Back to Us
Libra’s spellbook was glowing.
Libra: (notices) (surprised) Jing, I think I’ve just gained a new spell!
Me: (opens the book and turns the pages) You’re right, Libra. It is a new spell.
The spell was called, “Rior Borubao.”
Me: (awed) Wow, you’re getting stronger already. (closes the spellbook) Let’s work even harder, Libra. If we do, then even more powerful spells will be unlocked!
Libra: (excited) All right! Let’s go train again.
I stopped her by grabbing the collar of the back of her shirt.
Me: (whispers) But first, we need to take a break. We need to let Kiyo and Gash keep up with us. They only have three spells, we have five. We have to let them catch up first.
Libra: (groans) Fine.
Me: (gets an idea) (talking to Kiyo) Hey,Kiyomaru, I need you to do me a favor.
Kiyo: (suspicious) What kind of a favor?
Me: (grinning) Nothing much really.
Info #1: The next chapter will be based off of Episode 16. Then, I’ll continue on from there.
Info #2: The only reason that I’m skipping episodes is because I want to get to the good parts for the chapters.
Info #3: Read Chapter 1 of Sokuyo:The Adventure V3. why my last name is Deverde. Jong decided to make his last name Deverde as well.
