Kuroko no Basuke Oneshots (GoM x Reader)

You sighed for the umpteenth time that day. Stepping off of the scale, you suddenly felt the urge to pick up the blasted piece of technology and throw it off a cliff. What was the point in something that wasn't going to make you happy?

Squeezing your eyes shut, you let out a loud sigh and left the scale alone. You weight gain was your own fault, not the poor scale's. Well, you guessed that it was also your purple haired boyfriend's fault.

Having Murasakibara Atsushi as your boyfriend meant that you would never starve. He showed his kindness in his own special, childish way by giving you lots of snacks whenever he saw you. And being the sweets lover he was, most of the food he offered you contained high amounts of sugar and fat. Whatever restraint you had on yourself before you started dating completely vanished every time you saw him stare at you with those innocent, purple puppy-dog eyes. You didn't want to hurt his feelings by rejecting his sweet gifts. (No pun intended.)

Thus, now you were faced with an inevitable fate. In order to begin your diet, you must somehow learn to reject the purple giant's sweets without hurting his feelings. And you were going to have to think of something quickly considering that you had a date with him today.

Sighing, you walked out of the washroom and grabbed a glass of water to drink. You gulped the glass down and sat down on a kitchen chair. You considered just plain out stating that you were on a diet and that you couldn't eat the snacks that he gave you, however you knew that that might be too much for his feelings to handle. After all, he was quite like a kid when it came to these things. Maybe you could make an excuse like you were allergic to sugar or something, not that that would work. 

Annoyed, you checked the clock and decided that it was time to meet the boy that was on your mind right now. Perhaps more ideas would come to your head once you met with him in person.

"[First Name]-chin," Murasakibara greeted with a wave as you jogged over to him happily.

"Atsushi..! Sorry I'm late", you smiled and stood next to him, " So where are we going today..?"

The boy thought a while before answering your question, "It's a secret."

This shocked you greatly. He never kept anything from you in the past so why now..? There were some other things that were bothering you as well. Firstly, he didn't have any snacks with him today. Murasakibara never had no snacks with him. Secondly, he arrived at the meeting spot before you today. Usually, he would always arrive a bit later than he was supposed to, not that you minded this at all.

Deciding that you could handle some change,  you followed your boyfriend as he led you through the crowd. His large hand squeezed yours once in a while—showing off his excitement just like a little boy. Smiling, you felt that this wasn't too bad. Besides, since he had no snacks with him today, you wouldn't need to worry about your dieting problem.

Or so you thought. 

And here you were, standing in front of a candy shop. Of all the places that he could take you, he just had to bring you here. You felt an overwhelming sense of doom crashing over you. How in the world could you refuse to buy anything from the shop when he specifically brought you here for your date?

"[First Name]-chin..? What's wrong,  Aren't you surprised..?" Murasakibara tightened his hold on your hand. He stared at you with a worried expression. His eyes were narrowed and his face dropped slightly.

Not having the heart to disappoint him, you laughed your dread off and started pulling him into the shop, "N-nothing's wrong..! I was just really surprised, that's all... Let's go get some sweets, Atsushi..!"

Stepping into the shop, you noticed that there were sweets everywhere. You knew that you shouldn't be getting tempted; yet your mouth told you otherwise. Before you knew it, you were hopping around the store with your boyfriend, picking out the candies that you wanted. Only after you left the shop with you bag of candies did you realize what you just did.

Gritting your teeth, you came to a decision. You stopped in your tracks and pushed the bag of candies towards Murasakibara.

The purple haired giant tilted his head in confusion, "[First Name]-chin, what wrong..?"

"Atsushi... please take these. I can't eat them right now," you started with a serious expression, "I gained five kilos in the past two months and I really need to go on a diet. I'm so sorry..!"

He blinked at you before slowly stretching out his hand and taking the bag of candies. And to your surprise, he tossed them into the trash can near you.

"Wh—," you started. However, you were cut off when Murasakibara lifted you up easily, pecked you on the lips and stared at you with those innocent purple eyes of his.

"You aren't heavy, [First Name]-chin, but if the sweets make you unhappy then throw them away... Or just give them to me. I want to always see you smile, [First Name]-chin, I want you to be happy...", he pulled you into a crushing hug before setting you down gently.

You blinked for a couple of seconds, comprehending the situation, before giving him your best smile.

"Thank you, Atsushi..!" you laughed as you pulled him down and gave him a light kiss on the cheek.

That's right. You didn't need any sweets. To you, he was the sweetest boyfriend in the world.
