Kero winces as the shouting siblings got louder. Tori was once again acting overprotective and Sakura wasn't liking that Tori didn't like the kid.
'Hopefully when Tori goes off to college this will quit happening.' Kero thinks Even the guardian beast had to leg go of any prejudices towards Lee, but that didn't mean that Kero wouldn't stop calling him 'kid'. He hears Sakura throw open the door and the girl slams the door and throws herself onto her bed. He hears Sakura crying and Kero sighs yet again. 'It's going to be one of those nights.'

"I can't fucking believe this!" Lee winces hearing Meilin's indignant cry from the kitchen. Lee knew that Meilin had been talking to his mother, and by judging from Meilin's reaction, his mother had told Meilin something she didn't like.
"What?" Lee asks calmly.
"My mother and those elders tried to get me to come back by using my grandmother as an excuse!" Meilin fumes and Lee sighs.
"Uh,"
"Look, I know you've got feelings for Sakura, I can deal with that. I'm struggling with what this is with Wulf. And if those old men think they can run my life...arg!" she continues to rant. Lee sighs to himself. He was grateful that Wei was out grocery shopping. He hears his phone go off in his room. Lee heads for the bedroom and picks up the cell phone. "Hello,"
"Kid, I think I've sensed the lovers card out their again. Sakura's in no condition to go after it." Kero states over the phone.
"What? What's wrong with her?" Lee asks.
"Fight with Tori. I'm already heading out, use that board of yours and follow. I know we can't capture it without Sakura, but it needs to be driven away before it causes trouble."
"Right," Lee agrees. Normally he would start a fight with the stuffd animal, but now wasn't the time.

"Card's got no shame." Kero quietly comments at Lee's side. When the two had come into the park, they had noticed couples that had been enjoying an evening stroll were now enjoying an evening romp in the bushes or against large trees.
"Freeze?" Lee asks and the guardian beast nods his head in approval.
"Kid, maybe you do have a brain in that head of yours." Kero says taking a shot at Lee.
"Keep your trap shut stuffed animal," Lee fires back and summons his sword. "Freeze card!" he cries. The two halves of the card immediately split apart to get away from the Freeze spirit.
"Let the male half go! He can't effect you like the female can." Kero instructs.
"Like I have to be told that." Lee grumbles as the Freeze card forces the female half further from her male counterpart.

"Hmm, Lee is all alone...,let's see if he likes this." Fey Wong states and starts chanting.

"I think we've gotten rid of them." Kero states. Lee concentrates and tries to sense the card. He relaxes feeling no card, but he tenses up again feeling another magic.
"Kero?"
"Yeah kid, it's Fey Wong." he says. A blast of elemental power almost hits the guardian beast.
"You were sleeping on the job, weren't you?" a voice says from the shadows.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Eli rants at the image on the mirror. "He's using the same trick the illusion card used on Lee." Spinner looked pensively as the two continue to watch.

"No, it can't be," Kero says seeing his old master standing there looking disapprovingly.
"And you, you won't survive Yue's judgement." the image of Clow says to Lee.
"What? Fey! Face...," Lee begins but he takes a harsh blow of electricity to the chest. For a moment, his heart had stopped, but it continued beating a moment later.
"Quiet boy, and watch how it's really done." the Image of Clow states.

"Brilliant! Using what the illusion had done to Lee again was a stroke of genius!" Sian celebrates.
"Yes, but unfortunately, using that much magic will alert the other captor." Fey states.

She had fallen asleep after crying into her pillow. Now though, she was wide awake feeling the magic coming from the park. Seeing Kero was gone, she had to assume that the guardian beast and Lee were out trying to deal with the lovers card, but what else was going on out there?
"Fly card!" she calls out and flies out of the window and turns to head to the park once she was high enough so that no one could see her.

You see? You see that you can't even compare to me. How can you support the other's magic?" the illusion taunts. "She's far stronger than you."
"Grrr," Lee grunts out.
"I guess you need another lesson," Clow says and he blasts Lee with another lightning bolt, but it harmlessly bounces off a shield.
"Leave him alone!" Sakura cries.

"Hmmm, let's see her deal with this." Fey says and chants. out a spell.

"You shouldn't be near him. He'll just hurt you in the end. You can't trust him." the image of Tori says. Kero's eyes widen trying to figure out what in the world Fey was doing. First Clow, and now Tori. Sakura shakes with anger looking at her brother. She pulls out a card and glares at the image of her brother.
Erase card! Release and dispel!" Sakura shouts.

"Nice," Eli compliments.
"Do they...?"
"If the cards and Yue accept two masters." Eli answers.

The two hold each other. The illusion had been erased by the Erase card. Now, the two emotionally drained captors were crying against each other.
"Uh guys, I hate to break this up, but there is a naked pair watching us." Kero says. The two turn to see the lovers card standing there wearing only smiles. Lee gentle grabs Sakura and puts her in front of him with his sword. Sakura quickly gets the idea and puts her hands on the sword's hilt. He whispers something into her ear and she nods.
"Freeze card!" they both intone and the golden glow of magic releases the card. The two halves realize that they were in trouble. they try to turn back to card form to escape, but Freeze was energized with two sources of magic that wanted the same thing. The card freezes the pair up to their necks. The two come closer and Sakura with wand, and Lee with sword seal the card.
"Yes! You guys did it! Woo-hoo!" Kero celebrates.
'Darn stuffed animal.' Lee thinks.
"Did you say something?" Sakura asks.
"What?"
'I thought I heard him call Kero 'stuffed animal'.'
"Uh, I heard that." Lee says and she blushes.
"Kero!" they both shout and Kero stops his celebratory dance.
"What?" Kero says annoyed.
"How can we hear each others thoughts?" Lee asks and Kero sweats at the new revelation. That darn card had done it again!
