Scorpinac: I know you want more lemon goodness, but I thought it necessary to show the Fey Wong was ready to bring his full power upon our heroes.

"You say that the two can hear each others thoughts?" Wei asks.
"Yeah, I'm still trying to figure that one out , but I think I've got a theory." Kero states. The two, along with Lee and Sakura were in Lee's apartment trying to figure what the capture of the lovers card had done to their magic now.
"Hmm, there seems to be a developing magical bond. Have you looked at their aura recently?" Wei asks.
"No," Kero admits and takes a look, "Whoa, there seems to be a strand of gold connecting their auras."
And it probably has been strengthen by the capture of the lovers card." Wei adds.
"But that still doesn't completely explain why these two can hear each others thoughts." Kero shoots back.
"Ah, but it is said that couples that have been together long enough can seemingly read each others thoughts." Wei explains and Kero's eyes light up.
"Of course! The card's two halves never communicated verbally. So, it's capture being bound by male and female magics would have to bind those who perform those magics." Kero explains. He reaches his hand to touch the gold strand. When his hand tries to go through it, but a powerful burst of magic blasts him up against a far wall.
"Kero!" Sakura shouts coming over to the downed guardian beast.
"That...,answers...,that...,question." Kero says feeling like the equivalent of a truck had hit him.
"What question would that be stuffed animal?" Lee asks.
"Nothing, and I mean nothing, can break that bond, at least, nothing magical. Fey Wong would have to throw you into two separate dimensions to effectively break that link. Of course, there's the obvious answer of death." Kero explains and Lee glares at the beast for mentioning 'death'.
"Is Fey Wong up to that level again?" Wei asks.
"If he could create those powerful illusions then he can open up portals to other dimensions. I'll have to talk to that boy genius about seeing if he could return us back if Fey does do that."

"Why are we watching this boring archery tournament?" Sian complains.
"Because, I believe the last card will show itself and once it's captured, that coward Yue will finally show himself. Once he begins the final judgement, I shall break the bond between cards and their guardian beasts and make myself judge and ruler over the entire deck. That way, the cards will only obey me." Fey says smiling.
"Oh, now that's a plan." Sian says rubbing his hands together in glee.

"It seems that the seismic disturbances are getting stronger!" Josh shouts out as the Earth card continues its destruction.
"Oh, it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out!" Meilin shouts. "Hope those two up there are having fun, 'cause I'm not!" she adds referring to Lee and Sakura flying above the destructive power of the Earth card.
"The only good thing is that everyone's is sleeping and safe, for now!" Wulf adds.

"Look at the trees." Lee points and Sakura sees that they were swaying, but none of them were about to fall.
"They are anchored in the ground...,wood card!" she exclaims and Lee smiles. "Wood Card, release and dispel!" The Wood card wraps itself around Earth and roots itself. The un-captured card tries to shake Wood off, but it was too late and the Earth stops moving.
"Earth Card, return to your power confined!"

"Stay here, Sian, it is almost time for me to make my appearance." Fey Wong states standing.
"Awe, can't I come?"
"No, if this first in counter fails, I have another plan in which you will finally be of some value to me." Fey states and vanishes.
'Finally, I'll get to have some fun.' Sian muses.

The two card captors were quite confused. Julian had transformed and now stood Yue. The white haired guardian turns to Keroberos with a Sturm look.
"I ask for final confirmation. Are they to be judged together rather than separate?" Yue asks.
"Yes." Keroberos simply answers. He had been tempted to remind the feather duster of their last conversation, but he wasn't going to provoke the moon guardian.
"Then, let final...," Yue says but a blast of magic prevents Yue from continuing.
"I object, in fact, I'm overruling you." Fey Wong says smirking.
"Do not dare to interrupt...," the judge starts but a strong blast of magic knocks him down.
"Be silent or die." Fey Wong growls. "You," he says turning to Ms. MacKenzie, "Give this message to the one that you're working for." he says and the blast of magic that hits her sends her into unconsciousness.

"Are...,"
"No, I am not ready to face him. They'll have to do this on their own.

"Any further objections before I...," Fey begins but an arrow pierces into his chest.
"I will not tolerate you interrupting the final judgement." Yue growls.
"Then I shall destroy you before I take the cards." Fey says, but before he would have given Yue the final blow, two bolts of electricity struck him. They had been so intertwined that they had appeared gold. Fey turns to face the new attackers.
"Leave him alone!" Sakura shouts.
"If you want the cards, then face us." Lee growls.
"So, the hard way is it? Well, I guess we'll do this the hard way." he starts, but both freeze and snow attack him in tandem. 'Fuck! They are trying to use the same elemental powers in tandem in order to make themselves seem stronger than they are! They must be linked mentally somehow...,' Fey thinks.
'Keroberos was right They are a perfect magical blend. There is no need for judgement. The proof is staring me in the face.' Yue thinks. At this point, like a colony of bees protecting their hive, the others join in the fight.
"Damn you all! This is only the beginning!" Fey Wong shouts and teleports away.

"What does this mean?" Spinner asks.
"This means that I must be careful in making sure the cards feed off their stars."
"Stars?"
"Yes, a pink star and a green star." Eli states. "Go inform Ruby that it's time to go to Readington."
