The blond engineer's mouth hung opened, seeing the full cargo hold.

"We've gotten enough of the stuff do keep the fleet going for five years I figure," the gruff voice of the captain of the mining ship said.

"Mrow, five years eight months if my calculations are correct," Zyrashia said.

"We've gotten the large rock and the smaller rocks hollowed out. But if we don't return to the fleet and drop this off we won't have room for anything else," the captain said.

"My people are now doing the construction. If your ships are that full get this stuff back to Heifong and got back here as soon as you can," Jim said.

"Right," the captain replied.

"You!" the Ctarl growled and slammed the blond Ctarl against the wall, why the fuck did you call my brother!?"

"That old fossil that wants to command this fleet will do anything to command this fleet. I won't let you lose just because that fur fuck cheated! I can't bat him either because I'm not ready to fight someone like that. If his daughter is as strong as my nose tells me she is, then hr father has to be stronger! If he gets command then he'll send me off to some desk job back at Ctarl and I don't think human mates are welcomed on Ctarl-Ctarl yet!" the blond shouted, his green eyes blazing.

"You did this to protect your spot in the chain of command in this fleet and for your mate's sake?" thee Ctarl general questioned, his voice softer now.

"Yeah, but mostly for my mate," the blond replied, lowering his voice to match.

"I can't fault you for wanting to do something for the sake of a mate," the Ctarl general said. "Don't worry, I'll beat that bastard."

Daughter and father glared at each other. Aisha's fiery stare met her father's frosty one.

"Retract those claws, now," Aisha's mother growled.

"What is she doing here?" Aisha's father growled.

"You might have disowned her, but she still my kitten you pain in the ass for a mate," Aisha's mother growled.

"She chose to lay with a human and bring dishonor to this family!" the general snarled.

"You wanted me to marry someone for the soul reason fro family honor when you knew dam well they my worth was hurt by the Leiline incident!" Aisha yelled back.

"Had you kept that temper in check," her father began.

"I was in stage two heat and didn't know it!"

"You should have come back home and stayed there when that mission ended!"

"I couldn't afford the ride back! Ctarl didn't want me back!"

"And you stayed with those humans and mated one!"

"He treats me better than any Ctarl male ever did!"

"Enough!" Aisha's mother roared. "You've got to let this fucking go. She's taken a human mate and we've got to accept that."

"And accept her half human child!?" Aisha's father hissed. "No grandchild of mine will be half human."

"Fine, if that's how you see it then fine! My mate and sister are more of a family that you've ever been!" Aisha screamed.

A slapping sound was heard. Aisha's mother's eyes widened, seeing that her daughter had just been struck by him. However, instead of tears or Aisha running out, a fist lashed out, catching the older general in the jaw.

Susuka was in the main watering hole for the officers of the fleet. She calmly sipped her tea.

"Fight!' someone shouted. Everyone looked around and then rushed out the bar and down the corridors where the echo's of more people shouting 'fight!' could be heard. Susuka checked her sword as she continued to run to where the fighting was taking place.

"Did I do the right thing mate?" the blond asked Valeria as they cuddled on the bed.

"You thought to do what was right, although I'd be able to survive on Ctarl-Ctarl," Valeria said.

"I just..." the blond began but his ear flicked, picking up the sound of a fight. Valeria watching the flicking of his ear, enjoying the site.

"Shit."

"What?" Valeria asked.

"C'mon, we've got a brawl going on."

It was a most unusual gathering of officers that were watching the fight between father and his daughter.

Susuka watched on as Aisha held her own against her father. She sensed and then felt the presences of both Gene and Melfina.

"Who's Aisha fighting?" Gene asked.

"I believe that's her father," Susuka answered.

"shouldn't someone stop them?" Melfina asked.

"I could stop Aisha, but I don't think I could stop both her and her father," Susuka admitted.

"Put that fur fuck bitch in her place!"

"Kick that old man's ass1!"

"Teach that human lover a lesson!"

"Tear him a new one!"

"Can she take him?" Gene asked Susuka.

"They are equal, but Aisha's youth might be an advantage. that, and she just a tick faster and that extra speed will help her," Susuka answered.

"Why are they fighting?" Melfina asked, not understanding why Aisha and her father were fighting.

"While our alliance with the Ctarl is stronger than ever, there is still...an underlying feeling of hatred for humans amongst the Ctarl, especially amongst the older Ctarl-Ctarl," Susuka said.

The gathered would widen the circle and move as the two fighters would need more room to fight. For most of the fight, aisha would try and match strength and try to overpower her father, but Ctarl instincts kicked in and she slipped into a more defensive stance and avoided the blows her father tried against her.

"C'mon, hit her!"

"Old man's too slow to hit his daughter!"

Eventually, an attack from Aisha's father left him wide opened for a brutal combination that ended with a kick that made the general's eyes roll into the back of his head and he crumpled to the ground.

Aisha threw her head back and roared out her victory and those who were cheering her on roared with her in celebration.

"She beat her father," Melfina said in shock.

"Had this been five years ago, she wouldn't have been able to win, but I think taking Jim as her mate has changed her, and I'd say for the better," Susuka remarked.

"who knew Jim could changed that animal," Gene grinned and received an elbow from both Melfina and Susuka, shutting him up.
