Three Years Later...,

'Three years of relative quiet. We deserved it. Kero told us afterwards that Sian was finally and truly dead. That was fine with me, but what I was more concerned with was Skynet. Fortunately, he seemed to be as dead as a computer program gets. We've finally graduated high school, and I'm glad of it. If I ever have to take another class with Greg Laurie as teacher I may move to another dimension. I have to pity Lee...,he's got to tell his mother that he's going to ask Sakura to be his wife. Then, the two of them will have to spill everything to Mr. Avalon.' Josh muses and then hears an indicator going off. 'What the hell...,interdimensional communication aimed directly at our dimension? Who'd...," Josh asks isolating the frequency.
"Hey, anyone there?!"
"Shader? How in the nine hells did you manage this?"
"While you were sleeping I took apart your wrist band and put it back together again." Josh sweats at that admission.
"And you learned how to build all sorts of things...,and it took you three years to contact me?"
"actually it's 1938 here."
"You've got to be kidding me. World War II is about to start up."
"Yep. The humans are about to kill each other again."
"How are Rosetta and Chrno doing?"
"About as well as any married couple."
"Married?"
"Seems like Tao reminded Remington before you guys left that marriage is a contract with god as well."
"So that's what those two were talking about."
"So, what about you guys?"
"Lee is going to pop the question, once his mother is told first." Josh explains. the two continue to trade off stories.

"Lee, it's good to hear from you." Yelan says.
"Uh, mother...,"
"You're going to ask her aren't you?"
"How...?"
"You've got my permission, but it won't be easy getting the elders to agree."
"The elders weren't my concern, you were."
"Your and her stars were destined...,I only wished I had seen this before I sent you to Readington in the first place."
"Thank you, now I'm going to have to tell her father."
"Just let me know and I shall send the family plane."
"Yes, mother."

"You've got to be kidding me! You're letting Sakura marry that brat?!" Tory fumes.
"He asked me for permission to ask her, Tori. You don't see that much these days. He comes from an old Chinese family who are quite arcane in there ways. Sakura loves him. That's all that matters."
"You don't know...,"
"Tory, they told me everything."
"Everything?"
"Yes. The cards, Kero, Yue being Julian, and all the adventures they've had. I know it all."
"Then how can you...,"
"Enough Tori. He's already asked her."
"What!?"
"You're just going to have to accept the fact that they are going to get married. In a week's time we'll be going to his family's home."
"We'll see about that!" Tori fumes and storms off. Aiden sighs hoping that his son wouldn't do anything stupid.

"I can't believe this!" Madison cries happily, "The two of you are actually tying the knot. How did it go with your father finding out about everything?"
"He took it and Lee asking me to be his wife well. I haven't been this happy since we together." Sakura says smiling and looking at the ring. It was an old family heirloom worn by all those who would be marrying the head of the family.
"The ceremony isn't your usual ceremony is it?" Madison asks looking over the details of the wedding.
"I guess you don't get to make that fancy white wedding gown now do you?" Sakura teases.
"Oh but I do get to make you a fancy wedding kimono." Madison shoots back. "Besides, there's always my wedding...," Madison thinks dreamily.
"Uh, do you even think Josh would have the nerve to ask?"
"I'll have to make sure my mother is out of town before hand." Madison smiles. She sees that glazed look that would always come over her friend whenever she was talking to Lee.
"Tori! C'mon! I've got to stop him before he kills Lee!" Sakura shouts. Madison pulls out her phone and starts dialing.

"Are you two decent?!" Matilda Drumhilde shouts from the top of the basement steps.
"Yeah! What is it?!" Wulf replies.
"It's Madison, she's on the phone." she answers. Wulf takes the phone from her.
"Madison?"
"We've got a problem. Tori has found out."
"We're on our way. Where are they?"
"Lee's apartment, on the balcony. Better hurry before Tori does something crazy." Madison says and Wulf hangs up. Meilin was already halfway out the door as Wulf hands the phone back to his aunt.
"Trouble?" she asks.
"Of the domestic kind."
"Uh oh, Sakura's brother not taking it too well is he?"
"Not at all! I'll be back for dinner!" Wulf shouts and runs to catch up with his girlfriend.

"Try to marry my sister will you?" Tori growls as he has Lee pinned down on the balcony. Wei looks on with concern at the two boys fighting. His charge had been lured out onto the balcony on the pretext that they would just talk. Apparently, the older Avalon did his talking with his fist. Wei answers the door and allows the other Avalon sibling and Madison to come in.
"Stop it Tori!" Sakura screams at Tori.
"Stay out of this." Tori growls. "He's poisoned your mind with whatever the hell he's said to you." Tori turns his gaze back down to the younger boy and he continues to pummel Lee. Two more sets of footsteps approach quickly from behind Tori. Wulf Drags Tori off of Lee allowing Sakura to rush over and attend to her fiance.
"Let me go Drumhilde." Tori growls.
"Not going to happen, Tori." Wulf growls back.
"You ok?" sakura asks softly.
"I've had worse." Lee replies.
"Tori!" Sakura shouts turning to her restrained brother.
"He's no good for you." Tori growls trying to break the iron lock that Wulf had him in.
"I love him. There's nothing you can..,"
"Fine! If that's how it's going to be then don't expect me to be there!" Tori shouts and manages to break free from Wulf and storms off. Madison and Meilin look at each other having the same thought...,'jerk,'.
