"We can't take the entire fleet of Rorgan and Sith ships by ourselves!" an engineer complained.
Jim sighed, "calm down. We have enough fire power by ourselves. to hold that fleet off until our own fleet gets here."
"Enemy fleet is jumping out of trans-ether," Zyrashia said.
"Increase the magnetic shield from 20% to full," Jim ordered.
The magnetic shield had to be up at all times or the smaller missile launching asteroids would float away from their mother base.
"Arm the missile defenders and prepare our surprise, Zyrashia," Jim grinned.

"How long?" the human general asked.
"Forty minutes," the tactical officer asked. "Sir, the C3 and tactical computers have added the new base...whoa."
"Whoa?" the general echoed and came over to the console and his eyes widened at the fire power the base had.
"That boy might have just given us the win," the general muttered.

"Now?" Zyrashia asked.
"Now," Jim confirmed.

From the lower belly of the base, an inverted vertical lunch bay appeared. And, to join the missile barrage, torpedo's fired out.

"Sir, the tactical computers are now showing a bunch of little dots," the tactical officer said.
"The mark 4 Fusion torpedo...the kid got it working," the human general said as the torpedoes crashed against the enemy fleet.

"One of the mother ships is coming close...I think they are going to fire their planet buster weapon," Zyrashia reported.
"Alpha strike!"

All twelve torpedo launchers lit up as all twelve torpedo's fired out at once, heading for the mother ship. The blackness of space was lit up by the explosion of the mother ship.

"Yes!" Jim celebrated.
"The Sith and Rorgans are backing off," Zyrashia reported.
"Our fleet?" Jim asked.
"Coming out of trans-ether...now," she said and the entire alliance fleet came out of trans-ether.

"All ships, hammer and anvil!" the Ctarl general ordered.

The hammer and anvil strategy was a simple stratagem. The fleet would hammer the Sith and Rorgans, driving them towards the base while the base fired off its weapons. This would make it impossible for the Sith and Rorgans to jump away so easily.

Jim smiled as he watched his base pounding the fleet that was before them.
"They are jumping their ships out one wave at a time," Zyrashia reported.
The enemy fleet would jump just waves of ships back into either sub-ether or trans-ether. Finally, the mother ships, once the bane of the carrier ships, limped back into trans-ether.

"Bridge, set course for home, I'm not staying," Aisha's father ordered from his quarters via the com-link. His wife looked at him and wondered if he would recover from this.

Several ships, including the Outlaw Star, docked at the base. The two Admirals, the wing commanders,the generals and the two engineers were gather in the conference with the Ctarl Emperor.
"My predecessor would have never allowed any of this if he were still ruling, however, I knew our races, separately, couldn't defeat the Sith and Rorgans. However, what has happened this day has given us our first decisive victory. Now, before those fools can regroup, we finish off their fleet once and for all," the Emperor said.
""Valeria, you are now given the title of base commander. You'll still be his first officer, but you have command of this base for as long as you'll be serving," the human general said.
"Yes sir," Valeria said. she had had the feeling that she would be put in command of the base since she had experience commanding a base.
"What about me?" the blond admiral asked.
"After the war, a detachment of ships from both our sides will be assigned to this base to protect this sector in case the pirates get organized again," the Ctarl general said. "So don't worry kid,
you'll be stationed with your mate."
the blond growled not liking that he was still being picked on by the general.
"And the two of you,"
the human general began, "you not only got this base fully operational, but you built a weapon that made the Sith and Rorgans run away."
"And one of them happens to be a civilian engineer," the Ctarl general added.
"Now, I believe it's time we work on the final battle plan. It's time to end this," the human general said.

She paced back and forth in the quarters, waiting on the two to come back. The moment Jim came into the room, Aisha pounced, almost knocking him back out into the corridor had it not been for Zyrashia locking the door.
"Miss me?" Jim asked with a grin.
"What do you think?" Aisha asked with a growl. "I don't know how you've put up with Gene all your life!"
"I'm used to him," Jim answered. "I know you want to fuck me through a mattress, but I've had over two weeks worth of 20 hour shifts...I need some sleep."
"What!" Aisha shouted.
"Calm down, I've been only on coffee and nothing stronger," Jim assured.
"He's telling the truth. I couldn't' stop him working like that so I made sure he only used coffee to keep him up and nothing else," Zyrashia added.
"C'mon you," Asia said and drug Jim to the bed, removing his uniform at the same time.
"You lay right here and don't you dare move," Aisha said, pillowing his head on her breasts. Zyrashia got on the bed, spooning Jim from behind, keeping the blond between them. soon, the boy fell asleep between his two Ctarls.
"I couldn't stop him. He got these ideas in his head and I couldn't' stop him from working on them," Zyrashia apologized.
Asia sighed, "it's ok. I figure d something like this might happen, but I was hoping that he'd be up for one rutting."
"We'll have him soon enough," Zyrashia assured her.
"You two didn't...?"
"Didn't have time for it."
Aisha found herself enjoying the fact that the Beta female wasn't able to have him to herself. Soon though, Zyrashia fell asleep and Aisha joined them.
