Okay, I know, late. Sorry, I was in the hospital. Well I’ve had a lot of time to think about this story. I feel that after this chapter, I need some feedback. Do you guys like Yumeyu? I know girls tend to think that Yumeyu is a version of me so I can fool around with the Trigun men. No. She is a creation of mine that is used to make the story interesting. It’s hard to make the Trigun 4 go on new adventures without introducing new characters. So now I will continue writing this chapter with the hope thveryveryone understands Yumeyu’s purpose.
Chapter 5:
Yumeyu gently rapped her fingers against the tables sheer cover. Her reflection sat playing in her glass of 13 year old scotch that she held in the other hand. He keen eyes watched the group of men that had their own eyes on her.
One man, however, had no need to watch. He. He knew the teens every move. Legato Bluesummers sat like a drifter in the corner of the bar. Orders were orders, he knew. But this woman was new to the Gung-ho Guns. New to everyone. It was as if she had been taken from a graveyard and revived. A dead-like beauty. Pale flesh, cold eyes, and a sad smile.
“Perfect.” The man purred as she downed the shot of scotch without a second thought.
Yumeyu looked down at her empty glass before her eyes wandered up to catch two gold orbs in her sight. ‘Death…that’s all I see.’ She shivered as her vision doubled. ‘He is death.’ (Corny, I know. But give me some credit! Legato is fucking scary!) Her eyes widened as the man stood from his spot and wandered over to the seat beside her.
“You must be Yumeyu, the one sent to destroy Vash the Stampede.” He whispered, his lips millimeters from her ear. “I’ve heard of you.”
“Really?” She asked the man, trying her best to keep a cool demeanor. “From who?”
“Vashes brother.”
She gasped before she saw Vash step into the doorway. Instantly the mans clear blue eyes widened then grew dark as he saw Yumeyu beside the man he wanted dead. “You, Legato.”
“Why hello, Vash. It’s so good to see you.” Legato stood so his line of sight was directly towards Vash. “I have missed you.”
“What are you doing here?” Vash asked, his voice growing quiet.
Yumeyu looked from Vash to Legato before attempting to stand. Legato quickly grabbed her shoulder and pushed her back down onto her chair.
“Stay a while.” He smiled down at her before returning his eyes to Vash, who was quickly waving people out of the saloon. “It’s somesometimes, Vash. The way you want to protect this human life. You end up hurting because of it. Why?”
“Because it’s the right thing to do! Now what do you want with her!?” Vash screamed as he took a step towards Yumeyu and Legato.
“Nothing, we were just chatting. Nothing wrong with that.” He smiled and gently stroke her head. “I wasn’t going to hurt her.”
Yumeyu stood again. “I…I have to go. I’m late.” She side-stepped away from Legato and ran out the door, leaving Vash behind.
“It’s been a while, Vash. I’m glad to have seen you before you were murdered.”
“What are you talking about?” The blonde looked around. The two were alone, the entire saloon had been abandoned. No one was around to get hurt, and Vash was grateful for that.
The silence between the two was thick with tension as one waited for the other to make his move.

Yumeyu threw one foot in front of the other as she ran towards the Ferveyer, her hand still tight on her gun. ‘Vashes brother?’ She slowed to a stop in front of the building. ‘What the hell is going on with the family. Perhaps there’s more to this story than I know.’ She couldn’t help but think back to the man Legato. ‘That man…he’s so…evil.’ She grinned at the use of her words. ‘Yes, evil is perfect.’

“I have missed you so, Vash.” Legato cocked his head. “Don’t even bother with your gun. There is no one around. I can’t hurt you now.”
The blonde looked around the room, his eyes stopping to peer out the windows. ‘Vash, there’s no one here to help you.’ Hejumped as Legato whispered into his mind.
Legato smiled at the look on Vashes face and started towards the door. “I just wanted to say hi. Is that so wrong?” He lifted his fingers to his face and blew a kiss towards Vash. “You might want to keep your light on tonight.”
Vashes eyes widened as Legato stepped out of the saloon and out of his sight before he fell too his knees. His hand instantly clasped his chest as he fought for breath. ‘What was that? He…he blew a kiss at me.’ Vashes eyes clenched shut as he trto pto push the picture from his mind. ‘What does he want from me?’
Well that’s it folks! Time for your ‘pinions. Should Legato go after Vash or Wolfwood? I already know, I just wanna see what you all think. C’mon, you know you wanna.
