Chapter Epsilon

"Ikki what do you expect to accomplish?" Seiya shouted at his friend.

The taller man only grabbed the suit case out of Seiya's hand, not loosing his grip on his little brother that he protectively craddled to his side like a child. He didn't care, not any more. They had to leave, the place didn't matter just as long as it was 'away'. To be honest the Phionex could careless if these... these spectors came after him and the other saints. They could take care of themselves. But no, these things had to attack someone that couldn't defend themselves well. She did very well, in fact it just made her all the more atractive to the deadly saint, but now she was burning with a fever, cold sweats and had to have two treatments of anti-venom pumped into her veins. The doctors said that their was little chance of her survival, causing a deeper hole in his heart to be torn. Just when he thought he might be able to love again, just when his soul was healing over Esmerelda this had to happen! And he was sure that it was that house. It was never a truly happy place to be and he couldn't figure out for the life of him why Shun wanted to remain there even after Athena offered to pay for a nice apartment of his own.

Seiya sighed, he understood that it was bad but he also felt a sense of betrail towards the woman that had just saved Shun's life. It would just be... wrong to leave her when she still has a chance of survival.

"Look, Ikki," Pegasus tried to reason only to be cut off by the snarl of someone behind.

"Who is responsible for this?"

They all looked to find a tall redhead several feet away. His hair past his hips, clothing black yet breathing. Slender fingers reached up and pratically ripped the sunglasses off of his face, to reveal cold blue eyes. Shun burried his face into Ikki's shoulder holding a bit tighter around his brother's neck. He didn't want to deal with this. It was his fault that his friend is on the brink of h anh and he would take all the blaim, but right now he felt an overwhelming sense of dispare when those eyes of the gold saint locked onto him.

Phionex growled, "Don't start accusing until you know the truth!"

Those eyes narrowed further making the strong bronze saint feel cornered like an animal. With a snarl he beared his fangs showing that he would fight back if felt threatened in the least bit.

"Sensei," Hyoga walked around Camus. "Please calm down."

"Hyoga," Ikki and Seiya voiced at the same time in surprise.

Shun snapped his face up only to watch him as if unsure it was truly him. Hyoga looked tired to him. The blond must have had a trying time keeping his master, who rarely even raises his voice, calm. He had only heard from Toa that she was born in France and that she had an elder brother the had left when she was really little. Andromeda never did make the connection until now, with Camus right in front of him he could see the family reseblince. They both had a strong air about them, a kind of radiance that told you 'here I am'. Their flowing hair, the way that it shimmered like blood jewels, and the eyes. The eyes are so similar in shape and held a sense of gentle acceptance dispite being angry or sad. It was no wounder why Swan absolutely adored the man.

When the Russian looked upon his friends a sensation of dreed over whelmed him. Seiya's hair and clothes where rumpled showing signs of little to no sleep. The brunet's eyes had dark bags underneath them, Ikki scoring a matching pair. Dispite the dark look of the lack of sleep, the elder teen still held himself with that way that told all to back away. The boy that was supported in by his arm, had his legs dangling around his brother's hips. The thick white bandages crawled up milky white thighs mid-way causing the youth to wear a pair of short shorts that obviously was a bit uncomfortable on the well reserved boy. The silken shirt was long enough to be tucked underneath his bottom as he sat on his brother's arm. His hands latched onto Phionex's shoulders, knuckles white, yet his eyes seemed unfearing. When he took a step forward Shun seemed to shrink back stopping him. He turned his attention to Seiya trying to silence his thoughts in the back of his mind that taunted him with memories of the boy avoiding him before he left for Saiberia.

"Hyoga," the brunet nearly fell over when Camus pushed passed him to get to the room where Toa was held. "First, what's up with him? Second, why are you here?"

The blond addressed Pegasus directly, not wanting to risk making eye contact with Shun, "From what Camus has told me, Shaka had told him that someone has targeted Shun and that his sister was injured. We where training when we got the message and both of us just hurried over."

"Toa's his sister?!" Seiya shouted out.

"That was a given," Ikki rolled his eyes. "They pratically look like twins."

"Well excuse me, complete strangers can look like family, besides not every sibling looks similar you know, take Shun and yourself as an example."

"What did you say? Are you trying to imply that Shun isn't my little brother?"

Ikki pivited growling down at the teen, Seiya snarled as well both high tempered from all that had transpired.

Hyoga pushed himself between the two of them, "That's enough you two! This is not the place to get into a fight."

They grunted still looking as if they wanted to pounce one another.

"Besides, I think it's best to set Shun down before anything starts."

At the mention of Shun's name the two bronze saints stepped down suddenly adopting masks of regret. The boy was rattled enough, he didn't need his friends and brother fighting each other right now.

"Now then," the voice of reason spoke up. "Let's all go some where, let Camus and his sister have their time, and talk. If it is true, of what Shaka said, then we have a new enemy on our hands."

"I'm not going to that mansion," Ikki stated when Shun gripped at him, if at all possible, tighter.

"We'll go to my place. It may be small but it can still fit all of us," Seiya pulled his keys out of his pocket and giggled them around as if to make a point. "But I still think that we should wait until Toa..."

Phoenix closed his eyes trying to weigh everything. He knew that Seiya wanted to stay in order to talk to Camus. Hyoga already told them what he knew so the details would have to come from the master of the Dimand Dust himself. Ikki wanted to see if the man had some answers as well, but his main reason for staying would be to know if his redheaded love interest was going to survive. With Hyoga here now, he could just have the blond watch over his little brother and he wouldn't have to worry so much. Opening his dark blue eyes he glared at the Russian.

"You're going to take Shun to Seiya's appartment and keep him safe. If I hear that you left him alone even for a second you'll have a new definition of pain to add to your vocabulary," he grunted/growled.

"I'm amazed at your confidence in me," was the flat reply as he turned around and Shun was carefully placed onto his back.

----------------------------

On the way to Seiya's appartment it was quiet. Rain pelted the umbrella that Shun held above the two of them as his other hand kept a firm grip on Hyoga's shirt near his collarbone. The boy's muscles where tense from having such trying times recently. He didn't know what exactly was going on but who ever attacked Shun was his enemy. The Russian knew he would do anything in order to ensure his green haired companion's safety. He even got in between the two brother's knowing that there was a possibility of earning hatred for interveining.

"Shun?"

Andromeda wanted to answer, truly he wanted to. Hyoga was the person he trusted most besides his brother and Toa but the words wouldn't come forward. Every sound was stopped in his throat as that all too familiar feel started to over come him again. Eyes, eyes were on him from behind, watching, waiting for their demented moment to attack. He could hear his heart beating, pounding so hard that it drowned out the sounds of the rain and Cygnus' foot steps. Whispers started to echo in his head all talking about the same thing. Piercing laughter screamed in intervules as pictures started to flash across the back of his mind. A dim light bulb swinging, something burned and hanging from the bulb. Darkness, a cellar of some sort, or possibly an attic by the way the light poored in through the cracks of the door.

"Shun?" Hyoga felt the hand clutch tighter to the fabric of his shirt. His blue eyes narrowed when he glanced over to see a white knuckled fist rattling with the umbrella. Then he felt it, something was there, something dark that left the feeling of a rotten slime on his spirit. Picking up his feet he started to run as fast as he could, taking several twists and turns making sure that who ever was there would loose them and not be able to tell where they where truly going. It didn't surprise him that he didn't feel it sooner, Shun was very sensitive when it came to the feel of anything spiritual. He was a blessed child as well as cursed.

"Hyoga...." the name was nothing but a whisper.

"What is it?" he slowed down finally coming around the building that Seiya lived in.

Shun's chest heaved as his breath shook, his eyes were open wide in fear as he whispered, "He's going to get me."

To be continued...

I know, I know, not my best chapter but it helped me get past some writer's block. Look forward to some nice freaking freaked up creepiness, on and possible lemon next chapter.
