Chapter five: The fifth dream...mutants attack
Chapter five: The fifth dream...mutants attack
D left the inn without so much as looking at the three dreamy eyed daughters of the inn keeper, which made them sigh as he rode out of sight...their father just shook his head and began the morning inventory.
The symbiot chose the time during the ride to finally talk to D, "So, uh, D, I was wondering....about your dreams...."
"Spit it out."
"Um, can I...pleeeeeease, go with you into your dreams?"
"I tell you what....I'll ask her and it depends on what she says, just to be fair."
The symbiot sighed, "I guess...."
D stopped and looked around, a strange noise was in the background and there was a sense of movement in the trees. He secoseconds to react before the first mutant took a chunk out of his ride, sending it flying over the cliff. D had his sword out and was in a ready stance before the mutant even realized that it had missed. It turned hideous yellow-green eyes to him, it's face twisted in a snarl before it attacked again clawing at him like a tiger in a cage, D for the most part managed to dodge most of the blows except for one particularilly nasty one that took him in the chest. The mutant looked down at him and smiled crookedly, "Now you die for entering these lands...hunter."
It raised its claws as D's eyes glowed blue and he attacked like a true vampire tearing out most of its throat, it screamed loudly and thrashed as its body died. Loud noises came through the trees from the direction that the first mutant had come from, D had just enough time to say, "Shit!" before he was attacked from all sides..."Damn it there's too many of them!"
He pulled back a little and more came from the trees, the symbiot came out, paniced, "What do we do D?"
"If I knew....I'd be doing it!"
The wind blew feircely and D smelt a familiar scent seconds before he heard the wind whisper to him, "Their throats....their hearts....and their heads...those are the weak points.....don't let them overwhelm you....there are fewer than you think."
The symbiot looked up at D, "Did you hear that too?"
"Yes, now that I know what to go for....it's time for them to die." He stopped moving and smirked evilly at them...they stopped and stared for a moment, confused as to why his fear had disappeared. So while they weren't moving D quickly ran through them and began cutting them into shreds...literally, he stopped and looked at the remaining 20 mutants...who quickly turned and ran the other way. D chuckled and looked at the trail of carnage behind him before he began walking towards the next town.
The next town was almost completely abandoned...apparently this is where the mutants had been staying and they had scared off most of the people. It was a nice, clean little town for the most part, not too bad, just no people. He walked to the inn and the inn keeper looked a little too happy to see him. "Please, come in, may I help you....do you have any baggage?"
"No, all I need is a room and I do not want to be disturbed at all."
"Of course, of course, would you care to know what times the kitchen is open?"
"No."
The man frowned but quickly covered it, "What room would you like almost all of them are open, we have suites, one bedders, two bedders, take your pick, we have at least one of each, very few stayed when the mutants arrived."
"That should no longer be a problem I killed most of them on my way here."
The man smiled brightly, "Well in that case take your pic, you only pay half price for which ever you wish."
"I want a suite on the the top floor, with dark curtains."
"Oh, suite number 766 should be perfect for you, the last to stay there about 10 years ago was supposedly royalty."
"Male or female?"
"Female, but I've heard some odd stories about her since then..."
"Did she have silver hair?"
The man froze, "Why yes, actually that's what made me remember her so well."
"What were the rumors?"
The man smiled at actually having someone to listen to him, "Well it's been said that a powerful demon fell for her, and when she refused he locked her away so no one else would ever get to see her again, many tried to save her but no one ever returned...about that time is when the mutants arrived. Nobody is really certain of all the details, it's a known fact that anyone that asks too many questions about it disappear and are never seen or heard from again....my own wife disappeared about a year ago after she started asking about her...my poor little boy lost his mother...so he goes to stay with his aunt every so often now..."
"I think I've heard enough."
"Oh, right." He handed D his room key, "Here you are then, please enjoy your stay and feel free to go to the kitchens anytime."
D tilted his head in acknowledgement before he went up the seven flights of stairs to his room and unlocked his door. The sun was just rising as he locked the door back, but the thick curtains made the room a permanent twilight, he sighed and undressed before putting a table up against the door. He looked at the bed thoughtfully before laying on it, it wasn't quite as soft as the one she had, but that didn't matter anyway he always went to her...not the other way around. The symbiot coughed lightly, "Don't forget...you said you'd ask her."
"I will not forget." He lay quietly, thinking about what he had recently learned from the owner the inn, "Do you think that it is really a demon that keeps her imprisoned?"
"I don't know...we've never actually met a demon or devil in person. So it is a possibility."
"Hmm, I wonder why she hasn't broken out yet....she's powerful enough, that I can sense."
"Maybe she is waiting for something....or someone."
"Hmmm." D's eyes fluttered as sleep pulled at him........
/// D's eyes opened to a dark too complete for even his vampire eyes to see in and the room smelled not of her scent but of a darker one that overpowered all others. D took a step back and looked around silently, willing himself to see what is going on. "D, you should not be in that room...." her voice was quiet, distant as if he was further away than he should have been. "Concentrate on me, D, you must get out of there before it awakens."
"What is 'it' anyway?"
"You can find out the hard way or I can explain it to you later. Concentrate please."
There was a sense of movement and of something large sniffing the air, D closed his eyes and quickly thought of her, ahe rhe room that he associated with her. There was a pull, right as a great roar shook the ground he stood on, then he felt arms around him and he could feel her sobbing on his shoulder. "Why are you crying?"
"You must never, ever do that again, you must never go there!" She hugged him tightly, "You must swear to me that you will never go ther again!"
"Why? What was that thing?"
She looked at him, her eyes wide and wild, "That doesn't matter, if you do not swear, I will cut off your dreamscape! I will cut you off from me! I'd rather never see you again than to know you died because of me."
He looked at her as she buried her face in his throat, sobbing harder, "I swear that I will try not to go back there, but I cannot be certain....I'm not even sure how I got there this time." He ran his hand through her hair softly, "Please stop crying."
She looked up at him and the tears slowed, "I am sorry."
"Don't be...now what was that...thing?"
"I'm not certain....but it keeps me here. I cannot summon my full powers here...it somehow blocks them from me. I cannot leave this room physically....I cannot even wake up. That is why I used your dreams to meet you....You've made it through the mutants, that means you're closer....you still have more powerful mutants ahead. Be careful D these will not be as....'easily' defeated." She brushed her lips against his gently, "I could not bare to loose you now that I know you, I couldn't."
"You won't loose me, I refuse to die and leave you alone." He kissed her lips with a softness that full vampire loose within the first 50 years of immortality. He pulled back and looked thoughtfull for a moment, "Oh, I'm supposed to ask you if the symbiot can join this dream."
She looked around, "I don't mind...he's just another part of you with a mind of its own." She smirked as D blushed at the innuendo.
D felt a tingling and looked down to see the symbiot smiling, "Ah, to finally meet you in person....so to speak."
She laughed as it took her hand and kissed it, D rolled his eyes before moving forward to kiss her lips again. "You know...I almost didn't realize that you were naked..." he cupped her breast in his right hand and the symbiot slid up her arm and stopped to look at her, asking permission. She nodded and the symbiot took her nipple into its mouth, suckling gently, D looked down at it and figured that tonight should be even more interesting than the last few... even better.
She nicked at D's shoulder, drawing a small droplet of blood before D crushed his lips to hers...the symbiot...deciding that since it had full control of D's left arm and hand slid slowly...down her body, stopping just over her belly botton ring. /Hm, I like that....it ads to the enticement.../ The symbiot snickered as it continued its path lower until it was just above the silver curls...then it dived in. (Author snickers too, couldn't resist...I'm in a rare mood tonight...so just enjoy it...K.) She pulled back from D's lips and growled lowly, confusing D...until he noticed where his left hand was, he didn't know whether to be glad or embarassed, until it flicked its tongue against her and began moving two fingers in and out of her, drawing low growls from her and making her kiss D with more ferousity than he thought possible. Then he decided to just enjoy the rest of his dream, he sent a message to the symbiot and with one last lick it pulled back.
She was about to complain, when D replaced his fingers with himself, stealing her breath as the symbiot took to paying worship to her breasts. Her head fell back as her senses were overloaded by the double pleasure, her body moving to the rythme of D's thrusting and the symbiot's sucking. D jerked his hips to a sharper angle and a pleased/surprised groan met his ears, he began jerking his hips that way with every thrust, quickly moving her up to orgasm.
He was about to sink his fangs in her throat...right before she sank hers into his, deeper than he thought her fangs could go, pushing all of them over the edge. D collapsed to the side of her, and the symbiot slid off of her, smiling like an idiot. "That was a-fucking-mazing!"
D just smiled and snuggled closer, "Can I sleep here for a while this time?"
He looked up at her and she just nodded and snuggled her head into his chest, not too long afterwards her breathing evened out and D decided to follow her into sleep......///
A.N.: Sorry this is sort of a cliffie, but I can't decide what to do with the next chappie yet, so I decided to wait. Oh, and don't forget to READ AND REVIEW !!!!
