I'm soooooo sorry for not updating in ages!! My family has had some financial problems and also I finally got wireless internet. One Day in April
Chapter 5
Luffy's Dilemma
Life was good on the Going Merry. Luffy was now about two months along and the excitement kept growing. Nami did indeed buy a mattress for Luffy in which Zoro slept with him on it every night. Chopper got new equipment while Usopp cleaned out a storage room to use for Chopper to use. Sanji desperately tried to stop smoking but found he could only let himself smoke up in the crow’s nest away from everyone else. And Zoro…..Zoro could currently be seen with Luffy propped up against his chest, while the elder rubbed the brunette’s still flat stomach.
Luffy leaned back on Zoro’s chest, feeling slightly fatigued. The morning’s activities had done nothing for his boredom. Feeling bored, since everyone was pampering him, Luffy had distracted himself by cleaning the dirty dishes. He had managed to clean every dish and glass without breaking or chipping them and were left in clean condition. Sanji was quite amazed that Luffy was able to do that.
But now he was bored again. Although he did enjoy the feeling of Zoro’s hand rubbing over his stomach.
“I can’t wait until it kicks,” he said out of the blue.
Silence hung in the air as Zoro slowed his rubbing down. Luffy looked up at him and was greeted with a kiss to the nose.
“Me too.”
Luffy giggled as Zoro nibbled his neck playfully. He shoved his tongue in Luffy’s mouth and kissed him soundly. He was pleased when the other moaned into his mouth. They both soon needed air and Zoro pulled back. Before he could go in again he was met with a pan to the face.
CLONG!
“OI!! Stupid she-male!! What the hell was that for?!”
Sanji glared a glare that would have frightened the devil.
“Baka!! How can you do that?! Have some decency you pervert!!”
He turned and stormed off to the kitchen grumbling and mumbling along the way. Zoro looked confused when Luffy giggled.
“Sorry. I just think Sanji’s looking out for me.”
“Looking out for you?”
“Well, I guess he’s worried about the baby too. Everyone’s really excited, you know.”
Zoro laid his chin on Luffy’s head.
“I know. And….I’m sorry for the way I acted….”
“That’s ok! It was just the heat of the moment!”
“Not that! I’m sorry when…..when I hit you.”
Luffy grew silent. He was worried that this conversation would come up sometime and he wasn’t sure how it would turn out.
“Zoro, I-”
“No! I’m really sorry. I could have hurt you and our….our child…..”
{“Our“?! Did he really say “our“?!}
“I was angry that you told Robin before you told me. I thought that you didn’t trust me. And then I thought that you were just using me. And I was…I was scared…I didn’t have any parents, so I have no idea how to raise a kid or what’s right. But….that was no excuse to hit you.”
Luffy stared at him for a while. He took Zoro’s face in his hands and nuzzled him.
“I love you, Luffy.”
He bent down to lick the tears that fell from his lover’s eyes.
“I love you too, Zoro.”
Zoro reached down to pull Luffy onto his lap. There they stayed for a long while…..unless you call “a long while” until lunch time.
“FOOD!”
“OWW! LUFFY~!~!”
“Gomen, Zoro-Kun!”

He was bored. Oh God, was Luffy bored.
“GRAAAAH!! THERE’S NOTHING TO DO!”
Nami flicked his nose.
“Peh. Read a book!”
“Robin’s books are boring!”
Said brunette let out a “humph”.
“So sorry my books are not to your liking.”
“Sorry! I’ve just never been much of a reader.”
“You can say that again.”
“Hey!”
BOOM!
“USOPP!!”
“SORRY!!”
“URUSEI, YOU IDIOTS!”
Luffy pouted at Sanji’s outburst, letting out a “humph”.
“Oi oi! Luffy!”
Luffy turned his head to see chopper hobbling towards him.
“What’s up?”
In his arms was a book almost twice the size of Chopper himself.
“I found this book and I thought you might want to take a look at it.”
Luffy made a face when reading the cover “The 9 month guide to Pregnancy”. He raised his eyebrow at the reindeer.
“It’ll help!” he argued, “ So you know what to expect!”
“I guess.”
Luffy was a little taken aback but decided to read the book anyway.
“Don’t worry, Luffy! There’s lots of pictures so it should help!”
He nodded, almost unconvinced.
“Ok, I’ll give it a look. I’ll be up in the crow’s nest if anybody needs me.”
Without another word, Luffy scampered on up to the secluded spot to read his “book”.
~ Half an hour later ~
Zoro cracked his neck after a refreshing nap. Looking around he couldn’t spot Luffy.
“Oi! She-Cook!”
CLONG!
“WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!”
“Knock it off!! Where’s Luffy?”
“Hell if I know!”
“Zoro-kun!” Chopper waved at him , “Luffy’s in the crow’s nest. I gave him a book to read and-”
“EYYAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!”
All eyes went up to the crow’s nest and Luffy jumped down, landing squarely on both feet.
“BAKA! DON’T DO THAT!”
“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!”
Luffy threw the book down the deck.
“CHOPPER!! IS ALL OF THIS TRUE?!!”
Everyone blinked. Chopper scratched his nose.
“What are you talking about?”
“What happens at the end!! Those pictures that are in there are DISGUSTING!! There’s going to be cramps and mood swings! I don’t know what Cesarean means, but it sounds painful! Episiotomies?! I’m going to get really fat! MUCOUS PLUG!!!”
“Calm down, Luffy!!”
“How can I calm down?! I’ve just realized I have no idea who this thing is going to get out of me!! I don’t have a mommy maker on me! I don‘t have a cozy!!”
“Don’t say stuff like that out loud!” Nami shouted, her face all red.
“We’ll find how to-”
“And then there’s complications! What happens then?! I don’t wanna be cut open! This is going to hurt! A lot!”
Nami rapped her knuckles on Luffy’s head.
“Calm down, idiot! What happens, happens. And it’s not like you’re the only person who will have pain in child birth! That’s what it’s all about!”
Luffy whimpered.
“Jeez. Talk some sense into him you guys.” Nami turned only to see Sanji and Zoro with their faces in a grimace, totally red. Nami rolled her eyes.
“Get over it. It’s going to happen eventually.”
Nami put her arm around Luffy’s shoulder in comfert.
“Ok. Think of it this way. Either way it’s going to be painful. But in the end you’re going to have a beautiful baby boy or girl and it’ll be worth all that pain. Ok?”
Luffy nodded, still drying his eyes.
“But…still….”
Nami groaned again.
“But still what?”
Luffy whimpered.
“Am I going to get boobies?”
Faces red, all around.
