#########he'll get hurt#########

Nuriko ran up the stairs and burst in to his room. Tasuki was sitting on his bed flipping through a comic book, "Nuriko?" Tasuki dropped the comic when Nuriko came rushing is, "You alright?" He jumped up from the bed and wrapped his arms around Nuriko, "What's wrong?"

Nuriko cried in to Tasuki's shoulder, "He wont tell me what's wrong. I just want to help him," Nuriko hugged Tasuki back, "I just want to help my brother. I don't want to see him get hurt," Nuriko sobbed.

Tasuki gently rubbed Nuriko's back, "Why would he get hurt?"

Nuriko lifted his head off Tasuki's shoulder, "I think he's in love."

Tasuki's face fell, "Why would that hurt him?"

"Oh Tasuki, love it's self wont hurt him. No, that's good for him. Love makes you stronger, even if it doesn't work out. I'm worried about who he loves, or, who I think he loves. Oh I hope I'm wrong!"

"Um, Nuriko I hate to tell you this, but you're never wrong about things like this."

"Yes I am!" Nuriko grabbed Tasuki's hands and pulled him to the b"Rem"Remember? I thought Miaka and Tama wouldn't last. i said that even though they seem so in love one of them will find some one else. I just don't see it working out. I mean, they seem so perfect for each other, but it's to much for Tama. I love him, but he isn't up for some one like Miaka. And I think he's the kinda person that needs a love that scares him, and Miaka's love makes him feel safe. But I was wrong. I think. They seem like they will never leave each other.

Tasuki shook his head sadly, "Nuri you're never wrong. Tama found some one else. It was love at first sight. I saw it happen. Oh, and it's a guy..."

"Back it up! What?! When? Why wasn't I there?"

"You had to talk to your math teacher. Did you see the new kid at school today?"

"You mean the beautiful tall one with the amber hair? How could I miss him?"

"that's who it is. Tama fell for him. I could see it in his eyes. It was a different look then the one he uses when Miaka is around. It was more heated, more passionate. Tama isn't one to throw his feelings around, you know that."

"I don't want to see Miaka get hurt..."

"No one does."

Nuriko put his head back on Tasuki's shoulder, " You're the sweetest person I know Tasuki. You're so kind."

Tasuki encircled Nuriko's waist, "No I'm not, I'm an ass Nuri and you know it. I'm only really nice to you."

Nuriko's head snapped up, "What does that mean?

Tasuki's face reddened and he cussed him self out on the inside, "Um...nothing..."

Nuriko stood up and stretched, "Okay, whatever," Nuriko looked over at Tasuki, "Ah, it's late. We should get some sleep."

"No!" Tasuki jumped up, "First off, it's only midnight, second of, you still haven't told me who Chiriko is in love with!" Tasuki grabbed Nuriko's slim shoulders and shook him.

Nuriko quickly over powered him and pushed him to the bed, then he sat on him, "Midnight is late to those of us that happen to be humans Tasuki," He said with a smirk, "And I'm not going to tell you who I think Chiriko loves. Now it's time for bed!"

Tasuki grabbed Nuriko around the waist and pulled him down so he was lying on the bed, "No sleep!'

"Sleep!" Nuriko jumped up and covered Tasuki with his body, "I wont move until you get to sleep!" He yelled joyfully.

"Mmm, OK with me!" Tasuki giggled happily.

Nuriko was to tired to think about any hidden meaning in what Tasuki said. He would think about it in the morning, but not at that moment. It was time for sleep.

#########waking up and going to school###########

"Nuriko! Get off me!" Tasuki opened his eyes to a giant mass of purple hair, "off!" He shoved at Nuriko's body till it fell to the ground.

"No school today mommy, I want to ride the pony," Nuriko rolled around on the floor mumbling to himself.

Tasuki groaned and threw a pillow at Nuriko's head, "Wake up! God, you're lazier then me!" Tasuki jumped out of the bed and kicked Nuriko's side, "Up! Up! Up! Your mom called, Chiriko needs to get to school early again! So...UP!!!" Tasuki aimed a kick at Nuriko's stomach.

"OWWWAFFFFHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Nuriko jumped up and scream, "TASUKI!!! OWW! That's a shitty way to wake some one up!"

Tasuki smirked, "Yeah, but it works," Tasuki patted Nuriko on the head, "I'll see you down stairs"

"Wait! You were wearing those clothes yesterday! And to bed!"

"So," Tasuki looked back at Nuriko and grinned, "I'm not like you Nuri my friend. I don't care what i look like. Now get on a dress and comedown stairs," Tasuki stepped out of the door and closed it behind himself.

Nuriko drove to school at top speed again. He was a bit on edge that day. He was going to find out what was going on with Chiriko if it killed him. And there were two ways he could do that. One, follow Chiriko and see where he he went in the mornings. Two, he could wait tell after fifth period to talk to his History teacher about Chiriko.

Nuriko looked in the rear view mirror and saw his brother staring out of the window with a dreamy look on his face. He decided to talk to his teacher. If he didn't get help there, he would follow Chiriko. He just couldn't bring him self to do that.

"Nuriko," Chiriko said from the backseat, "Nuriko, um, I'll talk to you after school okay?"

Nuriko looked at his brother through the mirror once more, "Promise?"

Chiriko bit his lip, "Promise," He said at last, "But, there is something I have to do now," He said as they pulled up to the school, "I have to talk to some one."
