Chapter 5 - The fast and the furious

While driving to work Amon was still in a days thinking about Robin. He couldn’t believe that he might have feeling for her. She was younger than him and so innocent and pure, yet she acted so mature.
Amon arrived at work on time as usual and just as he came in, Michael got some information about a potential witch hunt from headquarters. So they all went to the meeting room to check out the case and dig up info on the witch and his whereabouts by looking in the STN-J database.

- “All right then, it says here that his name is Akinori Yamato and that he is an elemental witch craft that uses wind as his source of power. He also uses his power for his own personal games and by doing so he already caused some trouble in a few places here in the city. People reported him to the police but they wouldn’t do anything about it because the things that the people would tell them were very odd and strange and that’s when they decided to give the case over to us. So you guys head out and I’ll try to pin point his whereabouts. If I find something I’ll send the information on your communicators.”

As everyone was leaving to go on the hunt Michael asked Amon to stay behind so that he could ask him a question.

- “Amon, I was just wondering how Robin was doing?”
- “She’s doing better, why do you ask?”
- “Well to tell you the truth I just wanted to know because maybe she could go on the hunt with you guy and help out. You never know, maybe she knows more about the elements than we do.”
- “No, she should stayed at the apartment and rest up just to make sure. I don’t want her to exhaust herself if she is not ready yet. We should be able to do without her for this time.”

Michael though that Amon was kind of cold about it but really all that Amon wanted was for Robin to get better and not for her to do anything she didn’t want to do especially if she wasn’t ready for it. So Amon left to catch up with Karasuma and Sakaki and see if they had found anything. Just then Michael had found where the witch was located so he called them up to give them the location.

- “Hey guys I found him. He’s on the East side of the city in a old abandon warehouse near a park. I’ll send you the coordinates right now.”

They got back in their vehicle and drove to the warehouse that was about 3 minutes away from where they were. When they arrived at the warehouse, it was a two storey building and it was also very long.

- “Sakaki you can take the upper level and Karasuma you come with me on the lower level but we’ll split up to cover more ground. So you take the left and I’ll take the right.”

Sakaki made his way up the stairs to the second floor, which he found very creepy since there wasn’t any lights and he had to use his little pocket flashlight.


Meanwhile...
Karasuma was almost at the end of the building and found some stairs that lead to the second floor.

- “Well I might as well go up and see how Sakaki is doing and see if he found anything because I sure didn’t find anything down here on my side and I didn’t hear anything from Amon yet.”

As Karasuma was making her was up, Sakaki was constantly on his nerves making his was down the hall. Then all of a sudden he felt a chill and turned around but no one was there. – “Hello…, is anyone out there…?” All that he could see was endless dark hallways in witch anything could come out from the dark shadows at any given moment.

- “Gggggeee’s this is really freaking me out but I guess that I have no choice but to go forward.”

Then all of a sudden, as Sakaki was turning around he was face to face with a tall black figure.

- “AAAAAA!”

Sakaki fell backwards on the floor and shone his flashlight back towards the tall figure again in a shaky manner.

- “Huh, Karasuma, what are you doing up here! Your suppose to be downstairs with Amon. You scared the hell out of me! You know you shouldn’t do that because you almost gave me a heart a tack. I seriously thought you where the witch.”
- “I’m sorry Sakaki, I really didn’t mean to scare you like that. I just came up here to see how things were going up here since I didn’t found anything myself. I didn’t even found any trace of the witch. Amon didn’t even call me on the communicator, so my guess is that he didn’t have any luck either.”
- “Well I don’t know if it’s worth anything but I felt a little chill in the air just a few moments ago. Who about you?”
- “Now that you mention it, I did feet chill in the air and I also felt like someone was following or watching me.”
- “Could this be the witch that is using his power to freak us out or something? Maybe we should go find Amon since you said that you didn’t hear from him yet.”
- \"Ya your right maybe we should go see where he is right now. Let\'s go.\" Karasuma and Sakaki went down the hall to the nearest stairways to go down the to the lower level.
- \"He did say that he was going to go on the right side of the building right?\"
- \"Ya come on, let\'s see if we can find him because he should be down here somewhere. Hey Amon are you down here...?\"
- \"Karasuma, Sakaki.\"
- \"Hey Amon, we were just looking for you. I look around down here on my side of the building but didn\'t find anything except I did feel a strange chill in the air and so did Sakaki. Then I saw the stairs that when up to the second floor and so I went up to see if Sakaki had found anything. And then when none of us heard from you we thought that we would come and find you just in case you tried to reach us and we didn\'t pick up because I don\'t know if the communicator is working.\"

Just then a blast of air came out from nowhere and pushed Amon, Karasuma and Sakaki a few steps back because it was such a powerful gust. They knew it was the witch because the Orbo was glowing so they all took out their Orbo gun top get ready to hunt down the witch.

- \"You people must be from the STN. I was waiting for you guys to show up. I deliberately left traces behind for you people to find me and you finally did. Maybe the other witches that you guys have encountered didn’t stand a chance against your kind of people but I on the other hand might be quite a hand full for you guys to handle.”
- \"So this was all a trap then, just to get our attention and lure us here. You’re a fool!”

Meanwhile...
Back at the STN-J Michael was still thinking of what Amon had told him about Robin. He had a different opinion about what he had said so Michael called up Robin to see how she was doing.

...Ring!... Ring!...Ring!

- \"Hello.\"
- \"Hey Robin, this is Michael.\"
- \"Michael... Is there something wrong?”
- \"No, no everything is fine, don\'t worry. I was just calling you to ask how you were doing.
- \"Oh I\'m doing good and I also went training a bit in an abandon subway just to see what I could do now that I have recovered and I also did a few chore. So I guess you could say I’m doing a lot better. How are the others doing?\"
- “They are doing fine but right now they are on a hunt and that’s the second reason why I was calling you about.”
- “Why, did something happen?”
- “No, no I don’t think so but it’s just that this witch that they are going after is a elemental craft user and I thought that since that you were one of the elemental groups I thought that you might know more about his power and how to defeat him in some sort of way. I’m not saying that Amon and the others can’t hunt him down, it’s just that you might be able to help them much faster, know what I mean?”
- “Yes... but I don’t know about this.”
- “I don’t want to push you on doing something you don’t want to do Robin. Just do what you feel like doing. I was just going to ask you and then put you on stand by, that’s all.”
- “No, I’m going to go help them out right now if you really think they need my help.”
- “All right that’s great. I’ll just send you the coordinates on your communicator.”
- “Ok, great, thanks Michael.”
- “Oh wait!, the witch uses wind as his source of power and his name is Akinori Yamato. Oh and by the way do you have a way to get there because Dojima could get you there much faster.”
- “Ok, when can she come pick me up then?”
- “She’s leaving right now. She will be there very soon.”
- “All right then talk to you later then.”
- “Ya, and good luck.”
- “Thanks, bye.”

Back at the warehouse...

Amon, Karasuma and Sakaki were having a hard time hitting the witch since he would use his wind to form a mini tornado to stop the bullets from getting to him.

- “You fools! What’s the matter can’t you hit me? I thought that this hunt for me would actually be a challenge but seeing that it’s not, I’ll have to dispose of you all, but then again I think that I’ll just toy around with you guys a bit longer since I seem to enjoy this in some odd way.”
- “Hey Amon, what are we going to do? We are not exactly in a good position here. Who we really need now is Robin.”
- “Well she isn’t here so we have to do what we can.”

Just then Robin had arrived with Dojima at the location that Michael gave her. When she got out of the car she could sense that something was definitely up.

- “What’s the matter Robin? Is there something wrong?”
- “Ya, I feel a disturbance and a strong power at work here. Maybe you should stay in the car and wait for us because it might get pretty ugly in there or if you want you can go back with Michael and I’ll get a ride with someone else.”
- “Ok then, I’ll leave because I don’t think that I would be of any help. I work better at a desk than being on a hunt. Oh and Robin, promise me that you will be careful and don’t try to push yourself to hard.”
- “Ok, I promise.”

Dojima left and Robin went inside to find the others to help them out. Once in she could feel the strong winds and the sound of the Orbo guns being fired which lead her to the place where Amon and the others were.

- “AMON!”
- “Robin!”

When the witch saw Robin he was anxious to know who she was and what she was doing there. Soon after the wind died down a bit.

- “Tell me, who are you and what are you doing here?” Robin looked him right in the eyes, “My name is none of your concern and I’m here to hunt you down because I just about had enough of you witches coming after my friends like this!”
- “Eeeerrrrr! Is that a challenge?”
- “Call it what you want, but when I’m done with you, you’ll wish you had never meat me. Witches like you shouldn’t use their power for evil or for their personal games!”

Amon was amazed how Robin changed after she recovered from the incidence. She could stand her ground and wanted to protect her friends. But this time, it was different. Amon felt there was something even different about her like as if she knew she could win.

- “Why you little wench, I’m going to dispose of you!”
- “Not if I can help it!”

Just then the wind picked up much more than before because the witch was forming another tornado and was coming right for Robin as if it was going to consume her but Robin used her craft, sending a big blast of fire at the wind and it was cancelled out. The witch then tried it a second time and it just resolved in the same way.

- “You wench, let’s see how well you can keep your friends safe from my attacks.”
- “What… you leave them alone. Your fight is with me now!”
- “You can’t tell me what to do and plus I never play fare and now I’ll start with him.”

He was pointing right at Amon and he aimed his attack right at him. Robin knew that he wouldn’t be able to evade the attack in time without being hurt so she lunged for Amon and both landed on the ground with Robin on top of Amon so that she could protect and save him like he had done for her and so moments after they were on the ground the attack had passed just overhead. Robin’s timing couldn’t at have been better; she had made it just in time. When Robin lifted her head from Amon’s chest the only thing that she could see was a thick grey smoke that the wind had caused when it stirred up the old debris in the warehouse.

- “Amon…are you ok…?
Both of them got up from the floor now that the coast was clear.
- “Huh, ya I’m fine…ouch.”
- “Oh no your shoulder, your hurt. Let me look at it.”
- “Never mind about me right now, hunt down that witch.”
- “Wait, what about Karasuma and Sakaki? Where are they…?”
Robin an Amon looked around from where they were standing.
- “Look over there, they are over there by the window in the back.”
- “Good, they don’t look to hurt but maybe just a bit shaken up. Now, I’ll take care of them while to look for the witch, and Robin… be careful.”
Robin took a few steps forward and then stopped to sense the witch’s sprit since she couldn’t see anything in the grey smoke. She was just standing there not doing anything or moving and that made the witch wonder what she was doing and why she was not trying to attack him.

- “What’s the matter? Can’t you find me? I guess that this smoke is to my advantage because I could easily escape out of here if I wanted to.

Just then Robin had pick up his sprit. He was located in a dark corner of the room they where in.

- “I found you!” Just then Robin used her craft to lure him out of the corner so that she could get a better view of him.
- “How…how… did you find me?”
- “It was easy, I just sensed the room for your sprit and plus you do give out bad vibes so it wasn’t hard to locate you. What’s the matter you seem scared and worried now. It’s like I said before, no one messes with my friends and gets away with it by getting their attention and toy around with them. You will pay for your crimes!”

Robin started to summon up a lot of her power and got ready to take him down and at the same time he was also summoning up his tornado but his power was no match for Robin’s since he was already weakened. When both craft were fired Robin’s fire totally engulf the witch’s tornado blast and made it’s way towards him and he was obliterated by Robin’s superior power.

- Robin took a deep breath, “It’s finally over. How are you guys?”
- “We are fine, we only have a few bumps and scratches.”
- “Robin…” Amon was just standing there holding his hand on his wounded shoulder.
- “Amon…” Robin hoped that she had done the right thing of obliterating the witch like that.
- “Come on let’s go, it’s getting late, and we done all that we could do here. There is no sense on staying here.”
-“See you guys on Monday then and take care.”
- “See ya Robin, and thanks for your help.”

Amon, Robin, Karasuma and Sakaki all left at the same time and each went to their places. While Robin was in the car with Amon she thought about his shoulder and how bad she felt for doing that to him but then again she had saved his life.

Hope you liked this chapter beucase when I wrote it I was really into it. Don\'t ask how I got the idea of naming this chapter \"The fast and the furious.\" I guess that I just like to have different titles,hehe.
Chapter 6 might take me a bit longer beucase I sort of got a writers block.
