Chapter Five: Not Good Enough

Soooooo sry that I’m just a lil’ slow on updates, but hey babes, it’s not my fault I don’t get reviews. I mean, I think it’s a pretty fair system: I write a chappie, you look at it. You review it, and I get happy for the review that I get! I am therefore inclined to write another chappie quicker! But no, no one loves me. Nope. No one. *sigh*. Fine, I’ll get on to the writing, but I won’t write another one till I get........how about 5 more reviews? 5 different people telling me how perfect or what needs work on this ficcie. Come on. Plz?.......

Chapter Five: Not Good Enough

It had been a little less than two weeks before she found out. Before she found out he really did leave her this time. That he wasn’t coming back. And it was then she knew what it was like to truly be alone.

She had been thinking of ways to get herself into the digital world. He had always told her that it wasn’t impossible. Skight thought of the t.v. series, the ways they had gone through the physical barriers.

Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, T.K., Mimi, and Joe had all been ‘washed’ into the digital world with some sort of wave. Then, with Kari, they had been beamed into the world again.

This seemed.....unlikely to Skight.

Davis, Kari, T.K., Yolei, Cody, and Ken all went through a computer to various places in the digital world.

She tried this. And ended up embarrassing herself as her mother walked in, wondering why she had been poised above the computer with the silly piece of plastic. She had climbed down from the desk, sheepishly grinning, when she slipped. Her D-Arc fell from her hand as she landed in a heap at the floor. She grabbed the D-Arc and looked at it to make sure it was fine.

The screen was blank.

Skight went through several possibilities as she held the lifeless digivice within her hands. She could’ve turned it off. It might be on a screen saver. The batteries could’ve died. But after two hours of kidding herself, she realized that he was truly, utterly gone.

The love of her life, Panjyamon, had left her for good.

Her knees gave out, her eyes widened, and she felt her heart tear open. She couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. He’d gone and done the one thing that he said he’d never do again.

He hurt her. And somehow it was her fault again. That voice in her head laughed and told her it was all her fault, that he didn’t love her. That she was not good enough. And the sad thing was....
She believed it.

----yes I know it’s short, but I hope it’ll also help clear some things up. Don’t worry peoples, I’m on my way to tying our two digi-fated people together. Also, for those who think Beelzemon was just a little (maybe a lot?) ooc, don’t worry. The only reason why was cos’ he was at peace with....stuff, but obviously isn’t gonna be anymore
