5 days after Haseo and Shino’s reunion, Ryou received an e-mail from CC Corp. In its usual formal tone, the e-mail said:

Dear Haseo,
Thank you for your patronage to “The World”. Enclosed you will find a Promise Greeting Card. This will be used to activate the marriage event. Simply send it to the person you want to marry and meet them in Mac Anu.
Events that follow may put your character in sexual situations so we ask that you do not take part in this event if you are underage. Choose the person that will join you wisely as you can only do this event once.
If you are unsure of why you received this e-mail, please contact our support center; we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
“My special someone, eh?” said Haseo. “Well, that would have to be Shino of course”. Without hesitation, he immediately sent the one-of-a-kind greeting card to Shino.

Shino received the same e-mail. “Haseo will be sending me one any minute”, she thought, “This will be fun”. Sure enough, her prediction came true and the promise
card from Haseo went into her e-mail. Shino logged into “The World” and went to Mac Anu to wait for Haseo.

Ryou logged into “The World” and found Shino waiting for him. “Hello” he said.
Shino smiled. “As soon as I learned about this event, I just knew that you’d send the card to me.”
“Wouldn’t have a wedding with anyone else” Haseo said, also smiling, “Let’s go, the wedding is about to begin.”

Shino kissed him. “I’m ready” They walked through Mac Anu holding hands. “Where does the event take place anyway?” Shino asked.
“Hy Brasail” Haseo replied, and then remembering that Shino had never been there, said, “It’s a place for events such as the crowning of an arena emperor. To reach it, we must take the boat that’s in the Harbor District “.
They soon reached the boat. Their hands still together, they walked onto the boat and signaled the NPC that they were ready to set sail. The NPC navigated the boat over the virtual ocean of Mac Anu.

When they docked, Shino looked around Hy Brasail for the first time. The lower area mostly had docks for boats to stop. As they walked up the stairs they saw many people wandering about, waiting for the wedding to begin. “Look, it’s all of the people I’ve teamed up with when I tried to save you” Haseo said.
“Wow, you met a lot of people” Shino said, “Will I get to meet them?”

“Sure” Haseo said, noticing there were also some people he didn’t know at all. His fame as “The Terror of Death” must have made people curious to see which girl would want to marry him. “I’ll introduce you after the wedding”
As they passed, some people called out to Haseo. “Congratulations” Haseo heard Gaspard shout out.
“I never thought you’d be the type to do this event,” Silabus said, who was next to Gaspard.
“So this is your special someone” Kuhn said.

Soon a loud voice roared over the crowd, which fell silent. “Will the bride and groom please step on the stage?” Haseo looked up. It was the commentator for all of hid arena matches. “It’s time, let’s go” Shino said.

Together, they walked up the steps to the stage that was in front of their large audience. They faced each other.
“Today is a very special day, “ boomed the commentator. “Today we are gathered to see two players brought together in love! I give you the legendary Haseo! The one who has become emperor in all three arena palaces! The famous PKK, “The Terror of Death”, the wonderful-“
“This is a wedding, not an advertisement” Haseo interrupted, “Moving on”

“Um, yes. Well Haseo is getting married to Shino, the one Harvest Cleric rumored to be Haseo’s boyfriend for all this time.”
Shino blushed and whispered to Haseo. “Is that true?”
“Yes” Haseo replied. “It turns out they were right”

“These two have exchanged cards of promise”, the commentator continued. “Shino”, he said turning to her, “What is your promise?”
“I promise to always be there for you, Haseo.” Shino said sincerely, looking deep into his eyes. “Whenever you need me, I will be available”

The commentator turned to Haseo. “And what is your promise?”
Haseo knew exactly what he was going to say. “I promise to always protect you, Shino”, he said looking deeply into her eyes. “I will never let anything harm you again”
“The bride and groom have given their promises, “ said the commentator. “Do you, Shino, take Haseo to be your husband, to care for at any amount of HP or with any status effects he might take on until this “world” ends?”

“I do” Shino said, and smiled at Haseo. “With my strongest healing spells, Haseo shall never die!”
The commentator turned to Haseo and asked him the same question. “I do” Haseo answered.

“Then by the power CC Corp vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife! But only in the game” he added saying the lines he was supposed to say. “You may kiss the bride”
Haseo leaned over to Shino and kissed her, happy to know that at least in this world, their relationship had been taken to another level.

When the kiss ended, the large audience clapped and cheered. As the clapping died down, the commentator said his last words for the ceremony. “Congratulations, you two! Use this area word for the consummation of your marriage! It will grant your every desire! But first, enjoy the party!”
Haseo turned to Shino. “Hidden Forbidden Marriage, eh? I haven’t heard of this Lost Ground”
“Me neither” Shino said. “Let’s check it out. But first, let’s meet your friends”.
Together, hand-in-hand, they wandered around and talked to everyone who had come.

About 20 minutes later, they returned to the giant boat. “That was fun” Shino commented. “I was surprised at how many people showed up. You must be really popular”.
“Yes” Haseo said, a bit grumpily. He didn’t like being reminded of why he was famous. He knew most of the people had come because he was The Terror of Death.
The NPC brought them back to the shores of Mac Anu and they quickly went to the Chaos Gate.

“Well. Let’s check out this new area!” Haseo said. “He found the area word and he and Shino warped.
They appeared in a room that was completely blank. There was no color, no objects, no nothing. The only things in the area were Haseo and Shino.
“What is this place?” Shino asked, perplexed at the nothingness around them.

“I don’t know,” replied Haseo. “But the commentator said that we could have our every desire here. Maybe we can change the looks of this place. What do you want the place to look like?”
“How about a grassy field area?” Shino suggested. “Ok” said Haseo. “Field!” he commanded the area. Instantly a familiar area appeared with fields of grass on islands surrounded by water.

“Wow!” Shino said, “It looks like we can change this are however we want.” She thought for a moment. “Night” she said. The area instantly grew darker and it was harder to see. “Ok now, how about some stars” Shino said. Stars instantly appeared in random places in the sky.
“How about a nice full moon?” Haseo suggested. The area obeyed him and moonlight shined down upon the couple.

“That’s lovely” Shino said. Together they lay down on the grass and looked up at the starry sky.
She looked at Haseo. “You know, that date we had a couple days ago was great.”
“I enjoyed it too,” Haseo said. “You know, I’m rally glad to have met you. If I hadn’t, I don’t think I’d as happy as I am right now.”
“Me neither” Shino said and kissed him. “And now I get to enjoy star watching with you”

“Well, look up, because the stars have changed”. Haseo said. Shino looked up the stars. Due to a whispered command of Haseo’s, the stars changed position to form 4 words: I love you Shino.

Shino’s heart melted. “Oh Haseo! I love you too!” She then kissed him again making it last longer this time. They began to French and soon their tongues were battling inside their mouths. When they finally broke the kiss, they were both breathless and wanting more.

Shino removed her robe and lay naked next to Haseo. The cool grass felt good against her skin. Haseo removed his armor and soon his penis was erected. “Maybe”, said Shino. “It’s worth a try”

Together they looked up at the virtual stars and said, “We wish to see Ovan”
Although he didn’t have much hope in the wish, Haseo looked around. Suddenly a familiar man in glasses appeared. It was Ovan, the mysterious man who longed to save his sister from AIDA and finally succeeded.

“Is it really you Ovan?” Haseo asked. He looked at him; he looked exactly as he usually did, except that his arm no longer had a big lock on it because it wasn’t needed to hold in AIDA.
“Haseo… Shino… How are you doing?” Ovan asked.
“We are fine, Ovan” Shino said, talking to Ovan for the first time in a year. “But how are you?”

Ovan ignored the question and asked “Aina… How is Aina?”
“She’s also fine, though she wishes you were still here” Haseo replied “But what-“
“And what about the rest of the world?” Ovan interrupted.
“Also well, now that AIDA is gone.” Haseo said

Ovan smiled in satisfaction. “Then all is right.” He slowly looked at each one of them.
“Haseo… Shino, I don’t want you to mourn my fate. I knew this would happen from the very beginning and this is the path I chose. “
“But, Ovan!” Haseo said, becoming emotional. “Many people care about you: me, Shino, Aina, and then you leave! Why?!”
Shino placed a hand on his shoulder. “Calm down Haseo”, she said softly.

Ovan continued, “I planted a seed, and this is how it sprouted. I sacrificed everything and now my sister is safe and so is “The World”. I am proud to have done this. Goodbye. I will always remember you and I hope you never forget me”
“Ovan!” Haseo shouted. “Don’t go!”
Ovan said nothing more and his image flickered and disappeared.

“We will never forget you Ovan” Shino said into the air. “Thank you”
“Was that really Ovan?” Haseo asked sadly”
“Who knows” Shino replies softly, “but it is the closest we can get to him. Maybe someday he will return from his coma.”

“Maybe” Haseo said. He made two wine glasses filled with sake appear in front of him and gave one to Shino.
“A toast to Ovan” Haseo said. “He sacrificed himself to save the world and he will be missed greatly”. He and Shino drank from their glasses. They disappeared afterwards.

“I love you, Shino” Haseo said looking lovingly into her eyes. “I love you too” Shino said, “Now let’s get some sleep.”
With the memory of Ovan fresh in their minds, they happily cuddled naked together and fell asleep in each other’s arms.
