A Nameless Madness
Searching
By the time Nameless can move again, there are no traces of the trainer or his Pokémon, much less Jeovi. Nameless roars his frustration to the woods around him before his eyes turn dark with rage.
"I will find you Jeovi. I love you, so I will find you, and I will make you my mate." Nameless growls before taking one last look at his den before he begins tracking down his Vulpix companion.
Weeks pass as Nameless continues his search, his entire body aching from constant running as his eyes burn from refusing to sleep. His thoughts are tormented by the things Jeovi told him about her trainer.
"Nameless, my trainer, before he would beat me and call me weak had another purpose. He would take me to this Pokémon Daycare and pay for me to stay there during my heats, and leave me with his much stronger male Pokémon. If I was lucky, the two of us wouldn't get along and I'd just be damaged upon my return to him. But if we were compatible types, the male would force himself on me and I'd end up pregnant. My kits were always taken from me though, or sold to the Daycare owners for money. I hate humans, they have no idea what it's like to be owned by somebody else." Jeovi had commented in tears as Nameless wondered what kind of trainer could do something so cruel. He knew she had been abused, her body bore scars and patches of missing fur where her trainer had used her as a punching bag, but Nameless had never thought she'd endure something like that. Seething with anger at the memory of her words, Nameless snarls and continues running, his body pulsing with pain at the abuse he put it through for the last few weeks.
"I promise you Jeovi, I won't give up until you're here with me again." Nameless hisses. As it happens, the Zoroark hybrid comes across a small town, filled with trainers and their Pokémon. Most of the trainers either try to battle him or they stare and call him a freak as he searches through the yards for any trace of Jeovi or the Pokémon who attacked her, but as usual he comes up empty on his search. As he turns to leave, he comes across a man in a strange uniform, only the letter A visible on the cap and jacket the man is wearing.
"Hey, a Zoroark, those are rare these days. The boss will love me if I bring this thing home." The man mutters before pulling a Pokéball from his belt and tossing it in the air. As the red light fades, a Mightyena is standing before the hybrid, a look of pure malice on the Dark type's face. Nameless growls back before he addresses the trainer.
"You humans make me sick. You threaten your Pokémon with death while making them do your bidding, you abuse and torment them and still they obey you. I don't have time for this shit." Nameless growls, not even caring if this human can understand him, so deep is his rage at having his first real friend and love taken from his side.
"Shit, this one can talk!? Mightyena, use bite!" The trainer yells as his Pokémon growls menacingly before lunging at Nameless with his fangs bared. Nameless looks at the Mightyena before a malicious glare crosses his face, causing the Mightyena to pause, mid attack. Nameless smiles before his claws begin glowing faintly with dark energy.
"I don't want to hurt you, Mightyena, but you and your trainer are in my way. Either leave now, or I'll have to show you what happens to those who get in my path." Nameless growls, causing the trainer to recall his Pokémon and run. With a smirk, Nameless continues on his path, pausing to sniff the air trying to get a read on the trainer who took Jeovi from him.
"Damn, that waste of time caused me to lose her scent. Now it will take even longer." Nameless hisses as he takes off running in the direction he last smelled her.
A/N: Not sure how PhoenixHelix will feel about his monster refusing a battle, but for this chapter, Nameless hasn't gone psychotic yet. He hates Hybrids, so since the Mightyena and his trainer weren't doing each other and don't appear to be hybrids, I figured Nameless wouldn't attack, besides, at the moment his body probably can't take a battle. Earlier I was asked if Nameless is immune to psychic attacks due to his hybrid nature, and he isn't. Most psychic attacks won't kill him, but they'll send him flying if he gets hit. Also, So far, the story will continue to be tame until the next two chapters where Nameless will regret going on this search. ;) -WWMH-
