Kuroko no Basuke Oneshots (GoM x Reader)

That dog was definitely laughing at him.

Aomine Daiki felt his eye twitch as he stared at the tiny monstrosity of a creature clinging oh-so-tightly to your shoulders, happily burying its head in your chest.

And worst of all, you were perfectly fine with it.

Hell, if Aomine ever tried that, he would end up with a purple eye and a bunch of bruises. 

Aomine had bothered to go on a date with you today- which was the most unusual, considering how lazy of a person the he was. The gesture made you extremely happy, however, and the two of you ended up browsing at a mall. There, you had suddenly taken a liking to a little puppy with ash-colored fur who you saw barking enthusiastically as you walked by the pet shop.

And you ended up buying it.

The blunette was perfectly fine with that- he actually thought the dog was quite adorable-

until suddenly, you weren't looking at him anymore, instead paying attention to the Papillon puppy that had now placed it's paws so blatantly on top of your chest and licked your face, all the while staring haughtily- or so Aomine believed- at the tanned male.

And now, the two of you were sitting at your house, you laughing and playing with the dog while Aomine surveyed the scene with genuine distaste.

You were supposed to be watching a movie with him- not playing with some damn dog.

"It's so cute," you cooed, making Aomine grit his teeth. "Hey hey, Daiki..! What should we name him..?"

"Oh..? This thing is a boy..?"

"Yep..!", You grin at your boyfriend, letting out yet another laugh when the dog whimpers and licks your chin. 

"...A boy."

He says this rather blankly, before huffing and turning around, his hands groping for the television remote. "I don't give a damn what you name him. Honestly."

"Hmm..." You stare at the dog for another moment, before letting out a gasp, as if having a sudden epiphany. 

"Then how about Shougo..?"

Aomine choked. "That Haizaki bastard...", he mumbles as his face flashes through the blunette's eyes. 

"Eh..? Your right, Haizaki does sounds better", you kiss it's nose fondly. 

seriously..? That's the part she heard..?

You had no clue about the actual Haizaki, the basketball player, as you weren't the biggest with sports-- so no one could blame you for naming your pet that. Aomine definitely did not want you to name your dog such a thing, since it would remind him of memories that he would rather forget.

"(First Name)-"

The dog suddenly barked, cutting him off. You chuckled.

"Aww, he likes it..!", You look over at Aomine innocently. "Then Haizaki it is..!"

"Wait, don't-!"

"Don't lick my face like that, Haizaki..!", you laughed as the puppy once again began to snuggle into your shoulder, its tongue trailing up your cheek. Aomine felt a vein pop. Those words sounded disgusting, like poison to his ears-- mainly because Aomine knew Haizaki Shougo, and the former was sure as hell he did not want Haizaki anywhere near his girlfriend.

It was bothering him. 

It was bothering him a lot.

Aomine breathed in and out, trying to calm himself down. Now wasn't the time to get agitated. Everything would be okay-

And the dog suddenly licked you across the lips, eliciting a surprised squeal from you.

Oh, that was it.

The navy-haired male swiftly got up from his seat, grabbed the puppy by the scruff of his neck and went over to the dog pen that he had bought, dropping him inside. He then was beside you in two quick strides, leaning over and pinning you against the couch.

It happened all so quickly it took you a while to process what had happened.

"Daiki... What's the matter-"

He cut you off by harshly pressing a kiss to your lips, and you were taken aback by his sudden aggressiveness. As he pulls away, he hisses:

"The only one who can kiss you is me."

You stared at him, confused for a moment, before remembering the puppy licking your face earlier. A wide grin breaks out on your face.

"You mean you were jeal-"

All it took was the simple movement of locking lips for him to shut you up again.

Kuroko's phone suddenly went off, and he checked his messages. The rest of the Generation of Miracles stopped to watch him-- Kuroko rarely got any mail. The blunette's eyes widened slightly in surprise upon seeing the message that he received.

"What's wrong, Tetsuya..?"

"...Aomine-kun said that Haizaki kissed his girlfriend."

"...WHAT..?"
