"You should have every system up and running now.  I think you've got enough competent engineers to keep this rock together," Jim said.

"What will you do now?" Valeria asked.

"Going off to our new HQ.  We've got mining equipment I've got to fix up and once it's up and running, we're going to get out of debt, one way or another," Jim grinned.

"And how will you keep up that level of income?"

"I've posted our ad on the trans-ether network that this place is tied to.  I'll also do the same thing when we finally close shop on Heifong," Jim answered.  The two watched as the Outlaw Star docked and Zyrashia joined them.

"All done here?"  Gene asked.

"Yep, they're on their own now.  If they break, they'll have to fix it themselves," Jim grinned.

"Unless we pay you the right price to come fix what we broke," Valeria quipped.

"Later," gene said and the three boarded the ship.

"Aisha pounced onto her mate the moment he came through the door.

'Miss me?" Jim asked, looking around. "You guys got this place looking like home."

"With Melfina's help it was quite simple, seeing that she seems to know who to make any place look like a home," Susuka said.

"And that gave Gilliam a chance to see if he could actually navigate the Outlaw Star," Jim said.  "I'd say he passed that test."

"This ship is barely holding together...  Pirates don't know how to keep equipment running," Jim complained.

"Uh, Jim, come here," Zyrashia requested and Jim rushed over to her console.

"Are you seeing, what I'm seeing?" she asked.

"Yeah, our ticket to being debt free."

"I can't believe you were able to get that much money so fast!" Fred ranted.

"Hey, Jim and Zyrashia are just perfect miners," Gene grinned.

"And you had enough money to buy supplies for several years!" Fred shouted yet again.

"Yep, and we'll be closing shop here for good and moving to our Outlaw Pad.  So, it looks like we won't have to borrow anymore money from you," Gene grinned yet again.

"Oh you'll come begging back to me," Fred grin."

"Keep dreaming Fred," Gene retorted.

"That's all the last of them," Jim reported. "And that ought to make sure our mining ships stay together until we can afford better equipment."

"And I hope you'll come to me for that equipment," Fred interjected.

"Yeah, as long as the goods are good and that you are giving us a good deal Fred," Jim fired back.

"Well, that's the last time we have to deal with Fred," Gene said.

"And I'm glad.  No more owing that man," Jim said.

"We've been given launch clearance," Gilliam reported.

"You put the ad on the Heifong trans-either net?" Gene asked.

"Or course," Jim grinned.

"Launch in 5...4...3...2...1.." Melfina called out and the ship blasted off.

'Good-bye, Heifong,' both Outlaws thought.

Valeria laid beside her mate in their large quarters on Star Rock.

"You think you can handle going back to shooting up pirates?" Valeria asked.

"I'd prefer that to those bastards we've just put back in their place," the blond grinned and started rubbing Valeria's empty womb.

"Don't you dare get me knocked with your kitten this soon," Valeria growled.

"Oh, but I will have you so pregnant," he growled and the two wrestled on the bed, enjoying their play before falling asleep, content in their and the galaxy's future.
