Sian watches as Eli gives Sakura the leaf shaped bookmark. He smiles to himself hearing his master's voice telling him to watch and wait for an opportunity. Fey was tired of Eli's games and Fey was going to end it whether Eli liked or not. Seeing Sakura had been sucked into the book, Sian strikes. He reaches with his hand and to Lee and Madison's surprise and shock, the book floats over to him.
"If you want to retrieve her, you'll have to come get me." Sian growls and runs out of the library with Madison and Lee hot on his heals.
'Damn it! That was too sloppy! I hope the others join in this chase. Better make sure Ruby distracts Julian.' Eli thinks to himself. He had blundered this time and he wouldn't make the same mistake again.

"Oh, did I disturb your love nest?" Sian taunts after unlocking the closet door to reveal Wulf and Meilin. "Sakura's trapped in this book," he says holding up the copy of "Alice in Wonderland" "You want it? You'll have to stop me from getting to my master."
"Hey!" Lee shouts.
"Got to go!" Sian says and runs off. Wulf and Meilin join the chase now as the four head for an exit. Madison quickly pulls out her phone and sends a text message to Josh.

'Lee?' Sakura sends out.
'I'm here, but there's a problem out here, we're chasing Sian. He's got the book you're in!'
'Oh no! Can you help me? I need to transform big and little.'
'I'll try, but it'll be difficult. I think the connection is weakened slightly because of where you are.'

"Come back here and fight us you coward!" Meilin shouts.
"Not going to happen!" Sian shouts back. His master was on the way and then it would all be over. He avoids a mini-missile from the scientist who had joined the chase. Sian dashes into the park and into the woods. They run for about another hundred yards until Sian stops in the middle of a clearing. The group stops and Fey appears before them. Sian hands over the book to Fey and he smirks.
"Now I've got you right I want you." Fey says confidently.
"Lee?" Madison starts.
"I had to use the link to help her transform big and little. I'm slightly weakened." Lee quietly explains.
"Then me and Meilin will attack him up close. Josh, if you see an opening, take it and watch for Sian." Wulf says and Josh nods.
"Planning are we, well it won...,"
"Ahhhh!" Keroberos shouts attacking Fey and knocking the older mage to the ground.
"Damn winged lion!" Fey shouts but has to defend himself from Wulf's hammer and Meilin.

'Lee,'
"Yeah?'
'I think I can get out of the book. I'm going to use fly.'
'Have sword ready, you'll need it.' Lee sends back.
'Right, I'm coming.'

"Do you honestly believe you can be us now? Your other half is stuck in that book." Sian taunts Lee.
"Don't count on it, Sian." Lee lets out. Then, Fey shouts seeing a winged Sakura with the sword card in her hand. She swings and Fey backs off again.
"Oh, so the little card captor got out...,well, that isn't going to save you." Fey states.
"Break his staff! That will destroy his ability to use magic!" Keroberos barks. Like hornets, the group attacked. First the hammer blow was blocked, then the swords from both Lee and Sakura, and then a missile from Josh.
"You might as well give up! You can't beat us!" Meilin shouts.
'Damn, I can't fight them like this. I've got to separate them...,for now though, I must retreat.' Fey thinks and both he and Sian vanish.
"Cowards," Meilin growls dusting herself off.
"There will be a next time." Kero says changing back to his false form. Lee was holding onto Sakura. Only Sakura could feel the fear coming from him. She was going to have to talk to her father about Tori. She was tired of her brother hovering around her and trying to punch Lee's light out.

"Had a good day at work?" Aidon Avalon asks his son.
"Yeah," Tori answers cautiously. The tone of his father's voice was slightly ominous.
"Sit down." he instructs his son. Tori closes his eyes. Now he knew he didn't like this. "Sakura has told me about you've been doing." he begins.
"That Lee...,"
"Is not just your concern. She's my daughter as well. I talked to her and then to him as well."
"That brat was...!"
"Calm yourself. When they are here, they must keep her door open if they are here. I'm now going to have to tell you to leave Lee alone. He has no intentions on hurting her. If I hear you've messed with him again, there will be consequences. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes sir." Tori answers.
"Good, your plate is wrapped up and in the frig."

"You did good keeping Yue from the fight." Eli compliments.
"Well, Julian is easy to get into a closet." Ruby says smirking.
"Ok, enough, we've got a problem. I wasn't careful enough today. It's obvious that Fey is watching me now. I must make sure to hide my magic from both Fey and Sian. Ruby, keep a close eye of Yue's level. If things get rough you might have to let him transform."
"Gotcha." Ruby states.
"This is certainly becoming a pain in the rear." Eli muses.

"So I don't have to worry for my life anymore?" Lee asks.
"No, but if you're at my house, we might as well stay in the living room. Dad wants me to keep the door open. Of course, there's always your place." she says smiling and lee blushes. He pulls her close and kisses her.
"It scared me when Sian took that book you were trapped in." Lee says softly. "I thought I was going to lose you."
"You'll never lose me, Lee." she says with a reassuring smile.
