Scorpinac: Yeah, I'm going to deal with all those cards now. fey's got to take a break some time right? Yep, took too long and now they're in more trouble.

'I've got to find a way to tell Julian why he's been so tired and blacking out all the time.' Tori thinks pacing around in his room. He was so frustrated with Ruby's constant interrupting and her inability to see that Julian was tiring even though Julian might feel better afterwards. 'Then there's Sakura. I know what she's been up to...,' he thinks and sees the clock, 'better grab the squirt and head out to buy dad's Christmas present.'

"I just hate to interrupt shopping," Eli comments watching Sakura.
"You are so bad," Ruby comments.
"Shouldn't you be...," Spinner begins.
"Yeah, I'm going to find my Julian." she says and leaves.
"Her Julian?" Spinner asks.
"Hmmm, I might have to leave her behind if this keeps up." Eli muses to himself.

'Lee?'
'Yeah, I sense it to. where are you?'
'I'm shopping with my brother. I'll need to transform the Mirror card in order not to make Tori suspicious.'
'Alright, I'll head on to the disturbance.'

"Element, fire!" Lee calls forth heating the two fence bars, but it doesn't stop them. He blocks the first with his sword, but the second smacks him in the head knocking him away.
"Lee!" Sakura cries running over to him.
"I'm fine, use Mist,"
"Mist?"
"It will eat those fence posts like acid."
"Mist card, discard your former might and draw your strength from our bound!" Sakura cries and Mist is transformed and begins to eat away at the two fence posts turning them into nothing. Lee sighs rubbing his head. They then feel the ground shaking beneath them. Then a large cylinder with a fat drill bit comes out of the ground.
"What is that!?" Sakura cries.
"It's another one of Fermont's toys." Lee answers after it goes back underground. "It's tracking us from under the ground, transform Earth now!" Sakura pulls out the card and repeats the enchantment. The Earth card starts forcing the drill to drill through granite which taxes the drill to a point where it overheats and explodes.
That was close." Sakura says. Then her phone goes off.
"You guys better get over here to the park! We're being attacked by mad elves throwing snowballs, but the feel more rocks when they hit you!" Meilin shouts through the phone.
"Fey," the two card captors say in unison and Sakura uses fly and the two take off.

"I think Fey's picking up my sense of humor." Eli comments.
"I should thought of that first."
"Is he slipping?"
"No, I think he's running out of plans in which to attack without attacking them himself."
"Look at that, she's changed the twin card." Spinner comments.
"That's going to tire them out for a while." Eli comments and the small army of enchanted snowball throwing elves was finally destroyed.

'Maybe he does know.' Sakura thinks looking down at the Mirror card. 'Lee?'
'Yeah?'
'Maybe Kero's right, maybe Tori does no what's going on.'
"I hope...,'
'No, I doubt he knows about our encounters with the lovers card, but he knows enough.'
'He could still kill me you know.'
No, or I'll use Erase on him.' Sakura sends and the two laugh.
'Fermont.'
"What?'
'What are we going to do about him? He's got Josh's dad and he now knows about our powers. I'm not strong enough to erase his memories nor do we have a card or a combination of cards to do that.'
'And to top it all of Josh still hasn't been able to locate Fermont's hiding spot.'
'And that leads to another problem. Mounting a rescue will certainly be difficult. Plus, Josh's father knows and I don't know if we can trust him like we know we can with Josh.' Sakura sighs to herself as she lays down. They too many problems and not enough solutions.

Josh rubs his tired eyes. He had been trying to back track that message his father had managed to send telling to continue their work and not let Fermont get his hands on it. Unfortunately, trying to trace the route that the message took was like running through the maze card. Either dad had done that so that Fermont didn't discover that his dad had contacted him, or that was some sort of a Fermont security protocol. Then, his intredimensional tracking sensors start beeping. He checks them to see that something was blocking them. Something was shielded about twenty miles outside of town. Josh checks a map to see that the location was an undeveloped plot of land. He taps into a satellite view of the coordinate, but they show the same undeveloped land. He checks his sensors again making some re-calibrations to find that the source of the shield wasn't at ground level, but below ground.
"Bingo! Alright, you little bug, you're going back home." Josh says picking up the tracking bug and starts repairing it with a fervor he hadn't had in a while.

'This isn't working as well as I thought it would. it's only keeping him from fading out of existance.' Ruby thinks spooning Julian. 'I hope I can keep him from fading long enough for the cards to be all transformed.'

"You look pleased about something." Madison comments.
"I've found my first real lead to finding my dad. I found a shield underground facility I'm having Fermont's own bug checking." Josh says smiling.
"Well, that's some good news we needed to hear." Sakura comments.
"Yeah, but how do we handle your dad knowing about everything?" Lee asks.
"I think we should take him straight to my aunt and uncle's. They can help make sure your dad doesn't go crazy or something from what you've hidden from him." Wulf comments.
"I just hop this is Fermont's lab...,I'm running out of ideas." Josh laments and Madison hugs him. Josh leans into her letting her comforting embrace relax him.
