Dreams, Nightmares, & Water Parks

"Are you certain that's what you saw?" Eli states.
"yes, he started fading away." Ruby reports.
"Hmmm, time for Sakura to change the dream card."
"Won't that mean...," Spinner begins.
"Yes. Nightmare will be changed as well."Eli says sighing. One would have a dream, but the other would suffer a nightmare.

"Where am I?" Lee says to himself. All he could see was darkness.
"Hahaha!"
"Huh?"
"Well, you came for her." a voice states.
"Who...,?" Lee begins but he sees Fey with Sakura bound to a chair.
"The two of you together are formidable, but you or her alone are nothing..,hahaha!"
"Let her go!" Lee shouts but is blasted by Fey.
"Hmmm, what would be more torturous, letting her watch you die, or you watching her die?"
"Nooo!" Lee shouts.

"Didn't know you'd could change a card in your sleep, champ." Kero states.
"Wait a second, what about nightmare?" Sakura asks.
"Uh oh...," Kero panics and Sakura grabs Nightmare to see it too was transformed. She closes her eyes in concentration and feels Lee's fear.
"Oh no! Nightmare gave Lee a nightmare!"
"Careful, Nightmare was not an original Clow creation. It'll be more ornery than Dream." Kero states.
'Lee, wake up!'

He wakes in a cold sweat. That had been a frightening experience. He feels Sakura and he lets her in. Her mental closeness calms him.
'You ok?"
'I am now.'
'What happened?'
'Something too gruesome to talk about...,let's just say Fey was involved instead of Clow.'

Josh sighs to himself...,an indoor water park...,he shakes seeing Lee taking a seat.
"You ok? You've been clinging to Sakura here recently." Wulf comments.
"Dream and Nightmare were transformed recently...,she got a dream, I got the nightmare." Lee comments.
"Fey?" Wulf asks.
"Fey." Lee answers.
"What did you find out?" Wulf asks Josh.
"It's Fermont's lab alright, but the bug didn't last long enough for me to get a good view of the layout." Josh answers.
"We go in blind then?" Wulf asks.
"I'd not prefer that, but we might have to, plus, these magical events need to hold off so you and Sakura can be at full strength when we go after him." Josh states. the three boys didn't know it, but Eli was listening.
'Ah, so they've found out where the doctor is hiding...,she needs to transform the cards as soon as possible, but Fermont needs to be stopped.' Eli ponders.

"What's wrong?" Madison asks Josh grinning.
"I don't fill out swim trunks like Wulf and Lee." Josh says bashfully.
"Oh you," she says hugging the boy. He blushes from feeling Madison's swim suit covered body so close to him.

'Ah, I can't help myself...,let's see if I can't make these waves more...,exciting.' Eli states. 'I'll stop it if Sakura can't.' Eli states.

"That was too close." Sakura comments.
"Yeah, plus you could have been seen using your magic." Meilin adds.
"You said you've found Fermont's lab?" Sakura asks.
"Yeah, but I couldn't get a layout of the place. It'll be difficult to get in without tripping some alarm." Josh states.
"So we fight our way in and fight our way out...,what's so bad about that?" Meilin asks.
"I don't want to face his creations on his terms." Josh states.
"I agree, but would it be possible to get your father out by an interdimensional jump?" Wulf asks.
"Maybe, but I would have to see if I can pierce that shield and find my dad's unique life force signature." Josh explains. Before the genius could go on, more screams come from the wave pool. The group turn to see a giant water serpent emerging from the depths.
"Oh boy," Sakura begins.
"Man, I've got to give it to him, he doesn't use the same idea twice." Madison comments.
"C'mon, let's stop that thing!" Lee shouts.

'Ah, they're having difficulty in destroy my new creation.' Fermont thinks.
"And just how did you know they would be there?" Viktor asks.
"Oh you small minded fool, Kids are attracted to things like water parks. You'd know that if you didn't hide your son like you do." Fermont shoots back.
"You better take another look, I believe they are about to take your water serpent out." Viktor says and Fermont watches as the group takes out his creation. He smile to himself seeing that they were exhausted.
"Ah, but capturing isn't my goal for now. Your son sent my own bug to spy on me! So, he knows where I am, but if I can keep his 'special' friends tired, then they can't mount a rescue. Plus, I doubt Josh would want to use a jump through hundreds of feet of rock, metal, and shielding." Fermont says smirking.

"Fey, how come you didn't let me go?" Sian complains.
"I wanted Eli and Fermont to play a little. But, poor Julian is fading and Ruby is the only defender."
"You're going to attack the other moon guardian?"
"Exactly." Fey states smirking.

Ruby walks down the sidewalk on her way to Julian. She was going to have another long session with him to keep Julian from vanishing. She feels the hairs on the back of her neck rise. She looks around just in time to avoid an attack. She stands back up from the roll she had performed to see Fey calmly standing there.
"Go ahead, transform, Ruby Moon." Fey taunts. Ruby bites her lip in concentration. If she transformed and begin fighting, that would attract Sakura for sure. Questions would be brought that her master would want answered, but if she didn't defend herself, Fey would kill her.
"Don't concern yourself with your secret getting out. Only your master can sense us. Those foolish heroes won't feel my presence even if I send you to another dimension." Fey explains as if he were lecturing a child.

"Master, you better get over here." Spinner says frantically as Eli comes into the study after getting back from school.
"What is it?"
"Ruby went to check on Julian, but Fey stopped her and the two are fighting."
"What! that'll...,"
"Sakura and the others don't seem to be aware of it."
"Damn, he created a sub-dimension to look like they were still fighting in our own dimension." Eli growls. "Come, we must stop him."

"Awe, are you tired?" Fey asks, but a fully transformed Spinner Sun tackles him away from Ruby.
"You've gotten bolder, Fey." Eli states.
"You figured out we were in a sub-dimension. I'm impressed. Your father couldn't tell when I was fighting him in a sub-dimension."
"Yes, but unlike him, I don't wish to fight you in a place that you control totally." Eli states and Fey feels that the sub-dimensional bubble they were in bursts. "Sakura will be able to feel us now."
"you wouldn't dare expose yourself." Fey states.
"I don't bluff." Eli states and looks at his wrist as if he were checking the time.
"Oooh, don't think you've won, I'll destroy your precious moon guardian one way or the other." Fey states and vanishes. Eli sigh. Fey knew that if Ruby couldn't support Julian, then Yue would fade away. Time was slipping from Eli faster than he wanted it to.
