It was all a blur. She had run to him and it felt like an eternity that she sat at his side with no help in sight.
The driver of the car was on the other side of Amon, but she paid him no mind. Her heart had stopped within her chest as she watched through teary eyes, the man that had been taken away from her all those years ago, cling to life once again. He was unconscience and she was lost in her dispair. She had had him back, and then suddenly he was taken again.
No, not this time. This time he would be ok, and she wouldn\'t be separated, they would be together and she would see that he got through this. He had to, for her life depended on it as well.
She didn\'t even hear the sound of the approaching ambulance as she made her quiet pledge to the raven haired hunter laying upon her lawn. Soon they were upon them as the rain continued to pour against her, beating against her worn body. The lights invaded her vision and the sound of footsteps approached her hunched form. Shadows fell across her field of vision and slowly she looked up to find some of the field medics standing over her. Gentle hands reached down and pulled her up and away from her quiet soldier so that they could load him up into the ambulance.
Two men quickly loaded him up, and soon they began wheeling him to the back of the ambulance. He was farther away from her now and slowly she watched them load him up.
Within that single moment something inside of the young witch snapped. He had been away from her for so long, and it was about to happen again. She couldn\'t bear it, she couldn\'t go through another moment without being at his side. Breaking free from the hands holding her she ran at those loading Amon into the ambulance.
\"NO!\" she screamed grabbing one of them, desperately clinging to him as she gazed at Amon\'s still form. \"No, I want to go with him.\" she murmured, loosening her grip on the man she had grabbed. The man turned to regard her, and a look of disgust crossed his face for an instant, until his gaze met that of the young green eyed girl. The look of pain was too much for anyone to deny and slowly his eyes softened and gently he nodded to her as he helped her up so she could sit next to the man inside.
The next few moments seemed to hang in the air for an eternity as she watched Amon\'s breathing steady out and the others sit and wait patiently as they hurried to the hospital. They had done all they could for now, so now the only option they had was to wait. Robin sat in complete silence, studying the quiet form of the man beside her. There were hardly any marks on him, but the damage had been done, that much she knew.
Gently she stroked some wet strands from his face, pressing a tender kiss upon his pale forehead. She held his hand as the ambulance made its way through the city, and she could swear as they rode on, she felt him grip her hand gently as if he knew she was there. And she was, for she knew she would never leave his side again if she had anything to say about it.

At long last they arrived, and Robin hurried to keep up. Amon was rolled through the doors and before she knew it he was out of sight. A large woman came to stand in front of her, blocking her from getting back to him.
\"I\'m sorry miss, but you can\'t go back there, you\'ll have to wait here.\" she said, leading Robin to sit upon a couch that rested in their lobby.
\"NO!\" she yelled, frantically trying to pull away from the nurse, \"No you don\'t understand, I have to be there, I have to be with him right now.\" she murmured, losing her strength as the exhaustion began to set in. More tears began to pour from her eyes as she let the nurse lead her frail body to rest upon the couch. A warm blanket was wrapped around her and the nurse who had just sat her down took a seat next to her.
Tender arms wrapped around Robin, and at last she let the events of the evening out. She cried in the arms of a caring nurse as Amon lay between life and death for all she knew, yet somehow in the back of her mind she knew he would be ok... he had to be ok.

She could feel a gentle hand upon her back, and a soft voice was calling to her. At first she had no idea were she was, but then she realized the surface she was laid upon was not her bed, but something a bit more uncomfortable. Slowly she opened her eyes and took in the bright lights of a very white lobby. She was in the hospital, and then it dawned on her why she was there.
\"Amon!\" she yelled, jumping up into the startled face of an elderly doctor. \"Amon, what\'s wrong? What happened, is he ok? Will he make it?\" she asked, grabbing onto the doctor in her haste.
A small smile formed on his face as he gently pried her clinging fingers from his shoulders. \"Yes ma\'am, the gentleman you came in with is just fine. We took good care of him and he\'s doing much better this morning.\"
Relief washed over Robin\'s small body as the man\'s words soaked in. Thank god, he was ok. But wait, he had been hit head on by that car. How could he be ok?
\"I don\'t understand doctor? He was hit head on by a car, I saw it. It was a bad hit. How could he be ok and in excellent shape?\" she murmured, begining to walk with him as he led her down the hallway to his room.
\"Well he\'s not in perfect shape my dear. He has some bruises and stitches from the hit and he really needs to take it easy for quite a while. He\'s been doing some heavy drinking and its beginning to take it\'s toll on him.\" the doctor stated, coming to stand outside of his patient\'s door.
\"Of course, I will do whatever needs to be done.\" Robin nodded, understanding fully that Amon wasn\'t in the best health, hell she had found him the first time. But now she was bound and determined to do whatever it took to get him better. But that still didn\'t explain why there wasn\'t anymore damage to him other than some scrapes and bruises.
\"I still don\'t understand doctor. He only had some bruises and cuts. How can that be?\"
The doctor smiled at her, and something about that smile shook her to her very core. \"Do you know what a witch is Ms. Sena?\" the doctor questioned, and she could swear she felt her heart freeze in her chest.
Could it be... was Amon... after all these years... was he... awakening?
