chapter 5
Yay! Here's the next chapter! ^^. Sooorrrry for the really long wait. But I was in Florida at the beginning of the month and I've been busy ever since. Sooo, everybody please read and review!
Thanks for my beta reader, Dying Inside, for betaing my story! Without her the story would be really bad. X_X. -glomps- Yay! Thanks sooo much! Sorry about the migraine. I'll give you some hot chocolate...-hands a glass of hot chocolate with marshmellows- ^^.
As for the review responses, AFF is being stupid and is only posting up until the review responses whenever I try posting this chapter, so I'm going to answer the reviews down at the end of the chapter instead. X_X
Chapter 5
Tsuzuki stood up, startled, as Hisoka let go of his glass. It broke as it hit the table, water quickly seeping in different directions. The brunette grabbed a few napkins, quickly trying to mop up the substance.
“Hisoka!” Tsuzuki looked down at the pale blond, freezing at the look on the blond’s face. The beautiful emerald eyes were wide in fear as they were locked on a man standing in the doorway.
‘No! He can’t be here. Why would he be here?’ Hisoka thought to himself, heart beating rapidly against his chest. A smirk crossed over the silver-haired man’s pale features. He turned away, following a waiter to a table a few tables down from theirs.
“Hisoka? What’s the matter?” Tsuzuki’s eyes were locked on the teenagers face. The detective reached for the blond, laying his hand on the thin shoulder. Hisoka flinched away, letting out a small cry, standing up, and knocking his chair backwards.
‘Something is the matter with him,’ Tsuzuki thought, retracting his hand. ‘This is just like before. Maybe the boy has schizophrenia or something.’
Amethyst eyes followed emerald ones, locking on and watching the man that Hisoka seemed to be reacting to.
Their waiter hurried over, bowing and beginning to clean up the water. “Is something the matter, sir?” he asked Tsuzuki, eyes flashing from the blond to the brunette.
Tsuzuki shook his head. “No. I’m sorry about the glass. My friend here thought that there was a spider in it.” The waiter nodded, a hesitant look on his face, before he wandered away, promising to bring back another glass.
Hisoka swallowed, lowering his gaze to the table finally. It seemed that Muraki was just sitting down for dinner. But that seemed suspicious. There was no way that the silver-haired yakuza leader would let him go free.
He jumped, raising his emerald eyes to Tsuzuki, who stood in front of him with a worried expression. It was that expression again. The blond didn’t understand why this man, who he had just met earlier, would care so much about him.
Tsuzuki smiled, letting out a sigh as he finally gained the blond’s
attention. “Tsuzuki…um…I-” Hisoka searched for something to say. He couldn’t think of anything to explain his actions in breaking the glass. Instead, he sat back down, motioning for Tsuzuki to follow his example.
The brunette continued to stand. He knew something was up. He was a
detective for crying out loud! He opened his mouth, ready to ask Hisoka what was the matter, when a waiter came up to them, bowing.
“Sir, that man with silver hair has offered to buy you a drink.”
Tsuzuki blinked, cocking his head. A free drink? He didn’t notice Hisoka, tensing up and looking away.
Muraki smirked, raising his glass to his lips and taking a sip. His
mismatched eyes glinted as he watched the brunette look towards him and smile. Hmmm, his little doll had found quite an attractive man. Well, whatever Hisoka found or had was his, so that went without saying for the brunette.
“Tell him that I agree.” The waiter nodded, bowed, and headed back to
Muraki’s table with the message.
Tsuzuki looked at Hisoka, taking in how pale the teen looked. He frowned, but pushed his chair underneath the table.
“Come on, Hisoka! We’re going to join that gentlemen that offered the
drink. Though you will have to have juice,” he declared happily. He made his way to the aisle, passing two tables, before looking behind him to see if Hisoka was following him.
The said teenager was still seated at the table, eyes glaring hatefully at the silver-haired man. Tsuzuki felt coldness sweep through his body at the sheer hatred that filled those large emerald eyes.
Just as Tsuzuki was going to change his mind about joining the other man, Hisoka stood, and walked over to the brunette.
Tsuzuki watched him, unsure on whether they should accept the silver-haired man’s invitation. His hesitant thoughts must have shown on his face because Hisoka walked past him and seated himself across from the silver-haired man.
When Hisoka sat down in front of him in a defiant manner, Muraki cocked his head. A sick, pleasure-filled smile slithered its way onto his face, his mismatched eyes dancing in amusement.
His doll wanted to play with him. Alright, if the boy wanted to play, then he would play. Only with tool, claw, and nail. The brunette arrived a few seconds later, taking a place between the other two males.
Muraki brought his attention back to Tsuzuki, smiling in a pleasant manner. Tsuzuki smiled back, hesitantly shifting his gaze to Hisoka.
“Would you like some wine?” the silver-haired man broke the silence.
The brunette jumped, nodding quickly to the suggestion. He glanced at the teenage boy out of the corner of his eyes, noticing the boy’s tense muscles.
“You seemed bored. A little boy cannot provide a grown man pleasure.”
Muraki smirked, taking a sip of wine.
Hisoka tensed at that statement. His eyes narrowed as he clenched his fists in his lap. ‘A little boy can’t provide pleasure, eh? Then why do you continue to use me?’
Tsuzuki laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head. “Well, we were just about to eat dinner before you called us over.” Muraki smiled, his visible eyes glinting in the lamp light.
“That’s good then. I hope that you do not mind eating with me Mr…” A silver eyebrow raised as the paler man drifted off.
“Ah, pardon me! I am Asato Tsuzuki!” The brunette held out his hand in a gesture for a handshake. As soon as that pale hand came into contact with his, Tsuzuki felt coldness swarm through his blood.
“That is quite an attractive name, Mr. Tsuzuki.” Muraki smiled. “And what is the name of the dear, precious boy?
Hisoka tensed, emerald irises flashing to the mismatched eyes that seemed to laugh at him. “Hisoka Kurosaki,” the answer escaped the blond’s lips in a monotone as those beautiful emerald irises almost glowed in hate at the silver-haired man.
Amethyst eyes watched as the tense blond and the smug, pale man stared at each other in a glaring math.
“Ah, a beautiful name for a beautiful boy.” Muraki’s words slid out like silk, caressing the teen’s ears in mock laughter.
It happened in a matter of seconds. The teenager stood, grabbed his glass, and threw the water at the silver-haired man.
“Don’t play around with me, asshole,” Hisoka snarled out angrily, fingers tightening around the glass until the boy’s knuckles turned white.
“Hisoka! What’s the matter with you?”
Tsuzuki hurried forward with a napkin, dabbing at the pale face. His wrist was grabbed, the man’s grip tight and unforgiving against his skin. It was so tight that it seemed to burn a brand into him.
“You bastard! Don’t act so innocent! If I’m such a little boy then why do you fuck me, then? Why do you continue to abuse me?”
The brunette stared at the enraged teen surprised. Abused him…? His gaze switched over to Muraki’s, heart stopping as he was met with a silver and a blue eye smirking at him in lust and amusement.
“Don’t make me out to be the bad guy, Hi-so-ka.” The blond twitched when Muraki pronounced his name in syllables. “The other day you were moaning for me like the little wanton slut you are.”
The man stood, wiping his glasses off on a napkin, before replacing them against his gleaming eyes. Hisoka’s face paled when the man said those words, his eyes seeming to slowly ink to blankness, the pupils slowly disappearing in a sea of emerald.
“Who the hell do you think you are?” Tsuzuki ground out, reaching for the blond, pulling the unresponsive boy against his chest. Anger filled the brunette as he glared at the man who had only moments before seemed so polite.
Muraki turned to look at Tsuzuki, eyes shining with dark lust.
“Who am I, my dear precious amethyst?” he purred out. “Why, I am Kazutaka Muraki.”
Grrr. This is the fifth time I'm reposting this chapter. X_X. It keeps messing up. Hopefully it'll work...
