The next thing Raito knew, the handcuffs connecting him to Ryuzaki jingled.

"This is what you meant?" Misa complained.

"Is this really necessary, Ryuzaki?" asked Raito.

"I'm not doing this because I want to."

"Two guys chained together is gross. This is what you're in to?" Misa continued to complain.

"I'm not doing this because I want to," Ryuzaki repeated.

"But Raito belongs to me. And if you're always together, then how am I supposed to go on dates with Raito?"

"It will be the three of us on the date, obviously."

"Misa, go to your room." Everyone was getting tired of her complaining.

"Fine." Misa stomped to her room. Before closing the door she said, "I miss you Raito. Let's have a date soon." The door slammed shut.

"I am one hundred percent sure she is the second Kira. In fact, I'm so sure, I'm questioning myself."

"I'm sure the others are tired, too. Why don't we send everyone home?"

"Good idea, Raito-kun. You may all go home now. It's been a long day, Yagami-san."

Yagami nodded and headed out, collecting the boys as he went. "Come on. They are hinting that they want to sleep." He grabbed Matsuda by the arm when he wouldn't move.

"But I haven't done much for the investigation," he complained out the door and down the hall to the elevator.

They were finally alone. Ryuzaki sat down at his chair and started typing. "What are you doing?" Raito asked.

"Writing a program to-whoa!" Raito pulled on the chain connecting the two of them. Ryuzaki fell out of his chair and landed on the floor in a crouch. He had good reflexes, Raito admired.

"Ryuzaki, I've been thinking that since we are chained together we should stay in one place."

"I agree, Raito-kun. That's why I've made a building for us. It's twenty-three stories tall and difficult to get into. It's finished, so we'll be going there tomorrow." He showed Raito the blueprints.

"You think of everything." Raito patted him on the back. "For now, let's go to bed; it's late. I want to sleep. Is this going to be a problem with this?" He held up his left wrist. The cuffs jingled again.

"But I wanted to make a program to-"

"Let's go." Raito pulled on the chain again.

Ryuzaki didn't want to start a fight, so he gave in. "Our bedroom is this way."

"'Our'? You mean I have to share a bed with you?" He sighed. "Let's go."

Ryuzaki smiled evily. "In a hurry to dream about me?"

Raito scoffed. "Yeah, right. I just haven't slept in a month. I'm exhausted."

Eventually, after a yawn from Raito, Ryuzaki agreed to go to bed, but not sleep. He'd let Raito do that.

Raito fell asleep right away. Ryuzaki watched as he went into REM sleep. Then, only after an hour, Raito started to moan. Ryuzaki's eyes widened as he watched Raito arch his back.

"Yes," Raito hissed. "More." Ryuzaki reached out a hand to touch Raito's hair. "Ryuzaki!" He pulled his hand back as though it had been lit on fire as Raito's hips thrust.

Ryuzaki thought quickly; there was a ninety-nine percent chance of Raito waking after that. He pretended to sleep, still sitting up in the bed.

"Ryuzaki?" Raito whispered. "You awake?"

"I am now," he said with a fake yanw. "What is it?"

"Bathroom. Now." Ryuzaki stood and followed Raito.
