"What is the next phase, Sian?" Sigma-Black asks flexing his repaired arm. The trio had been quiet for three weeks while Sigma made repairs to his arm.
"It's time to unleash one of the most powerful cards in my possession. I'll personally oversee its attack. I won't let anymore cards betray me." Sian says pulling out a card and smirking.
"Is it really necessary to use that one, master?" Akurax questions.
"I believe that it's time for stronger measures. I want my brother to come back and see that his successor and her friends are dead." Sian says readying himself to leave.
"When should we...?" Sigma-Black starts to ask but is cut off.
"Not yet my friend. This next attack should hurt them. Once then, I'll give them another distraction with a lessor card." Sian answers and teleports away.
"Skynet, monitor Sian." Sigma-Black orders. A monitor cuts on to reveal Sian standing in a quiet part of the park waiting for those foolish heroes.

'That's right, follow your senses. Let them guide you right to me. Ah, Yue, you've finally been able to come out and face me. I thought you would have attacked sooner, but even you can't fight the effects of the nightmare card. Even though its under your protection, your duel nature leaves you vulnerable to nightmare's influence.' Sian thinks as he could feel the group getting closer. Then he pulled out the card he had been holding. "Demon card! Attack the group of heroes that dare defy your master!" the card spews forth a terrible beast. It stood two and a half times as tall as Sian. It moved with two sets of powerful legs. It appeared to be half man and half bull from the horns that adorned its head. Its long tail lashes out and the beast lunges from where Sian had been hiding himself.

When Lee and Sakura felt Sian's magical presence in the park, the two had quickly gotten the group together. It had been a task because everyone had just gotten home from school, or they were still on route to their respected homes. Now, six humans and two guardians walk toward where Sian had appeared. Then the two mages felt something that they've not felt since the nightmare card.
"A rouge card." Lee and Sakura say in unison.
"We will not have to wait long for it. It is coming through those trees." Yue states and the visible form of the demon card charges and fires three red balls of energy from its head at the group. They all scatter as the demon card looks to see who to attack first. Teleporting behind Yue, it picks the judge up with one arm and harshly punches him with the other. The judge is sent flying thirty feet away.
"Yue!" Sakura calls out running to the downed guardian.
"It's the demon card. It's more powerful than all four elemental cards put together. The demon card can reflect any projectile thrown at it." Kero, now in his true form, says watching the card to make sure that it wouldn't try that trick again.
"Very good pussy cat. It's good to know that your mind hasn't slipped over the years. You've underestimated me Keroberos, I've got all the "rouge" cards in my possession. Your mistress took an awful risk in transforming the nightmare card. It doesn't matter though, that card was weak. It was shown some compassion and it gives itself over to her." Sian says watching as said mistress helps Yue to his feet.
"You have not changed have you, Sian? I thought at least you would fight without the aid of the remaining rouge cards." Yue states trying to recover from that blow.
"Poor Yue, you have to suffer by sharing a body with a weak human. I bet that blow that the demon card gave you made your other half cry out in pain." Sian taunts. While the bantering continued, Wulf readies his hammer and charges at the demon card. It didn't make any move to get out of the way, instead it trips up the attacker. Wulf tries to maintain his balance, but he ends up on the ground. The card then turns its body and kicks Wulf away with one of its hind legs.
"Wulf!" Meilin cries out coming to the downed warrior.
"Very good. Now, attack Shaoran and Karthing." Sian orders.
"Josh, keep Madison safe. Your weapons will be useless!" Lee cries out to Josh and the mage tries to slow the charging beast with a blast of wind. Keroberos crashes his body into its side which finally knocks the demon off it's feet. Teleporting away, the demon reappears behind Josh and Madison. Before the impending blow, Josh, showing abnormally quick reflexes, grabs Madison and they are quickly up in the air via Josh's flying disk(1). Josh inwardly smiles. There was no way that thing could get them, but to the young scientist's horror, bat-like wings unfurl and the demon leaps into the air.
"That thing can fly!" Josh cries pushing his disk to its limits. Sakura, now using the fly card, follows activating the sword card as well. Yue and Keroberos take to the sky leaving Lee, Meilin, and Wulf to follow on the ground.
'Excellent, those fools will pay for taking one of my cards. I better follow in case the mistress tries to turn the card against me.' Sian thinks as he silently follows.

"It's still on our tail!" Madison cries out as the demon card pursues them. Josh reaches into his belt and pulls out a grenade. "What are you doing?"
"Nikolai isn't the only one with flash bang grenades." he says and pulls the pin and throws the small spheroid. Madison first hears a bang and then the sound of the card crying as its eyes were blinded. Josh makes a sharp turn and puts some distance between themselves and the cloud of smoke.He turns to face the smoke and activates a laser sword from his wrist band.
"What are you...?" Madison asks but is cut off by Josh.
"I maybe clumsy when it comes to manual weapons like this laser sword, but I'm through running away from that thing. Once the smoke clears, I'll cut into its wing and hope that the damage will be enough to cripple its ability to fly." Josh answers watching the smoke beginning to clear.
"Are you sure about this?" Madison asks now with her camera trained on the dissipating cloud.
"I'm not completely sure, but I've done stupid stunts before. What I can't fathom is your ability to keep ahold of that camera."
"It's a gift. Besides, I'm probably about to get my best action sequence ever."
"Well, hold on tight, the smoke's cleared." Josh says and as Madison holds on for dear life to the genius the disk flies pass the demon's left side. The laser sword cuts into the wing. This wasn't the only damage to its wings. Sakura, with sword in hand, cuts into the other wing. With both wings damage, gravity takes hold over the demon card and it plummets to the ground. Sakura gives a thumbs up to Josh who returns the gesture.
"I didn't know that we had the same idea." Sakura says coming to the pair. "Are you all right, Madison?"
"I'm fine." Madison says now filming Sakura.
"I'll stay up here. I'm useless on the ground...." Josh says but is cut off by the sound of the demon card howling out in pain. The three look to see that Wulf had smashed the demon's head in with his hammer. Josh winces realizing how much force must have been put into that blow. "He's gone into his berserker state again. You better get down there and seal it before Wulf kills it." Josh says and Sakura flies back down to the ground.
"Demon card...!" Sakura starts to say, but Sian stops the incantation.
"Not today card mistress. Demon card, return to your master." Sian says as he points his staff at the injured card and it goes back to card form. "Until next we meet," he says putting the card back into his robes and teleporting away.

"That wasn't the result I was hoping for, Sian." Sigma-Black says turning to his partner.
"I was just testing how they would do against the demon card. Once the card is back to full power, I'll add this one as well." Sian says bringing out another card.
"The invisible card? They'll be crushed if they can't see where the demon card is attacking from." Akurax says smiling in pure glee.
"That's the whole point. They barely beat the demon card when they fought it. Now, they'll not be able to see what's coming before it's too late." Sian says and the three laugh.

"How much did you manage to get this time?" Wulf asks as the two boys leave the pool hall. It had been a few days since the card had attacked and everyone was tense. Everyone was waiting for the demon card to appear out of nowhere and begin rampaging again.
"I think they've learned about my reputation." Josh responds looking around for signs of a horned beast.
"That would be a record. You're usually good at getting someone to play against you."
"I've been distracted."
"We've all been a little on edge."
"It isn't just the demon card that's on my mind. When it tried to attack Madison and me, a feeling of protectiveness washed over me."
"You like Madison, so it wouldn't be such a surprise to me that you did what you did. Someone long ago said that a man's strength increases when he has something to protect. I'm not sure who said it though." Wulf says and then notices a thin beam of light pointing in the opposite direction that they were walking.
"What is...?" Josh begins to ask but is cut off by someone running towards them.
"Wulf, Josh! There are two rouge cards behind you." Lee says coming up to them with Meilin not far behind.
"I don't see...." Josh says, but a familiar ball of energy strikes the ground in front of him.
"Where did that come from!?" Wulf says frantically looking around for the demon card.
"The demon card is using the invisible card to mask its presence. It will be more difficult to defeat." Yue says coming out of a nearby alley.
"Great, how do we fight something that we can't see?!" Meilin asks.
"Hm, the card must be able to bend certain wavelengths of light." Josh says trying to see if the card could be seen in a different spectrum of light. "Bingo! The card can't hide demon from infrared detection." he says, but the invisible demon lifts Josh off the ground. He waits to feel the same blow that Yue felt the last time that they had fought the card. It never came because Wulf's hammer strikes the arm that was holding Josh, and Yue fires an arrow. The arrow hits the card that is around the neck of the horned beast. The card loses its ability to hide the demon.
"You may be a card under Keroberos's protection, demon, but invisible is a card under my protection. Sian may have it under his control, but I can negate its effects." Yue calmly states. Seeing that its master's plan failed, the demon card throws the necklace with the card attached to it to the ground. It teleports to appear behind Meilin, but she flips out of the way before it could grab her. Wulf takes a running leap and lands on the beast's back. He grabs its horns and holds on. The card thrashes about wildly, but Wulf wouldn't let go.
"You're going to have to do better than that to get rid of me!" Wulf says holding on. 'That's right, thrash about until you get too tired to do anything else.'
"What is he doing!?!" Keroberos says as he, Sakura and Madison now get to their other friends.
"The card needs to be tired out before Sakura can seal it. I will keep hold of this one myself." Yue says picking up the chain necklace. They then hear Wulf hit the ground as a spell from Sian had knocked Wulf off the demon's back.
"Damn you heroes! You haven't seen the last of my demon card!" Sian says and the beast returns to card form and its master vanishes.
"At least we've got one of them." Madison says as Yue hands over the invisible card to Sakura.
"Invisible card, renounce your dark master and draw your strength from my light." Sakura chants and taps the card with her staff. The red fades from it and pink dominates the color scheme of the card. Like last time, Sakura slumps into Lee's awaiting arms. He smiles down at her wondering how many more times she would have to do that.

1. Josh's flying disk was introduced in "Chaos at the Park", which is part of the first arc in whiteshirt's story. It was built for quicker transportation. Its design and a better description can be found in that part.
