Sam hung on the wall his hands chained above his head. His breathing was ragged from the massive beating he got earlier.He had been caught saving Jennifer and was now being punished for helping her and not telling them where she went. Blood dripped down from his chin as he spit the blood from inside of his mouth. He glanced up when he heard the door opening. "Are you ready to tell me where she went boy?" Asked Sekement. Sam just glared. Sekement laughed and gave him a hard punch in the stomache. Sam wheezed then coughed up blood as he tried to regain his breathing. "Your suffering would end boy if you would just talk. After all your one of my best guards." Sekement said. Sam glared back at Sekement and spit in his face."You can torture me all you want to Sekement but you won't get me to talk." he said. Sekement grew furious. "FINE! You've sealed your fate boy, when I find her which I will then you will watch me slowly kill her then you will shortly follow." He said before hitting Sam one more time then walked out the door. Blood now slid down Sam's forehead as he slumped down.'Please be okay Jennifer. Please.' he thought before slipping into unconscouisness.

Sage was snapped out of his trance when he felt a presence near him. He rolled his eyes. "Hello Anubus." he said dryly.
"Hello Halo. Now why did you call me?" he asked. Sage looked behind him where Jennifer was helping Ryo chase White Blaze who happened to get one of Ryo's favorite shirts. "You see that girl, she told us something interesting a few days ago. She told us that Sekement was back to his old ways and she told Ryo that Talpa was also back." he explained watching Anubus' face as he told him this.
" I know about Talpa, He appeared before me asking if I wanted power but I said no. I didn't know about Sekement though. I didn't think Talpa could cause harm at the time but judging from your expression then I guess he has." Anubus said. "Sekement has tortured that girl for weeks now and he's killed her parents. She said that there was strange marking on Sekement neck from what she could see, she thought they were tattoos." Sage continued. Anubus's eyes widen." Mind Control." he mumbled. Sage raised an eyebrow. Anubus noticed and shook his head. " Back when we were working for Talpa he came across something to use on you guys. It was some sort of mind control. I guess he couldn't convince any of the other dark lords so he resorted to that." He said then looked over to where Ryo and Jennifer were. "May I talk to her?" he asked. Sage looked back over to her.
"Only if me or Ryo is with her she's not yet comfortable with the others yet and she doesn't know you." he repied. Anubus nodded in understanding then looked at Sage in confusion. Sage noticed. "Nani?" he asked. Anubus sighed. "What exactly did Sekement do to her?" He asked. "I know you said he killed her parents but what kind of torture did he inflick on her?" he added.
Sage closed his eyes and clenched his fist. "He whipped her until she fell unconscouis." he said quietly. Anubus looked back over to the girl. "She's...She will heal from this Sage, just give her time. It seems like she's taking a liking to Ryo but I guess she would since he's your boyfriend and your an old friend of hers. Am I right?" he said. Sage nodded. Anubus started walking over to them both while Sage watched him and smiled when he saw Jennifer smile for the first time she had been there. A real smile, all the others she had been giving were empty,or ghosts of her smile.Ryo was a good person for her to hang out with.
