Episode Five: Supplies
((No Sex))
Jade had walked all day. Of course, her morning had come to a strange start, with Chimchar, but still. This was just way too much walking. She was finally at the base of the mountain, and to her surprise, was a large cave. And by large, I mean HUGE! The cave and tunnel system was like an ant bed, and spanned out for leagues, there was enough room here to fit three large armies and all their supplies, plus several tank columns. “I think I’ll rest here, for a bit.”
And with that, the four pokeballs at her side burst open, the pokemon looking around in bewilderment. Ivysaur said, “You’ve already found a base camp?”
“Base camp? What do you mean?”
“I mean, there’s no longer a need for those cramped up pokeballs, now that we have a home.”
“Yeah, but it’s just a stopping point until I get to this…Pallet Town.”
“No! You can’t enter human civilization.”
“Why?”
“Because, this quest does not involve them, it involves us, and this giant land we call home.”
“But, I need supplies if I’m going to do anything, at least. I’m already almost out of food.”
Ivysaur sighed, and nodded, “So be it, Charmander, Squirtle, and Monferno will write a shopping list, and we will go to this human town together, and you can tie the supplies to me.” Jade nodded in agreement.
“Alright. That works, but how do we get there?” She asked.
“Around this mountain, there’s a pass, and after that pass, there’s a trail to town, it will take twelve hours to walk. Which is why you’ll ride me , I’ll cut the trip in half.”
“Sure, when do we go.”
“Give the others a while to write the list, it will be long. We should have enough money to cover any expenses. Squirtle said there was apparently enough to get enough supplies for us to stick around for years, here.” Jade sighed, she didn’t want to be here for years. About an hour later, the three were done with the list. It was a long one.
“Let’s see here: Several thousand yards of rope, over a thousand electric lamps, an electric generator, a cheap T.V set, microwave, some fans, a hundred things of escape rope, over a hundred different outfits, a dozen shovels, two hundred pairs of panties, a washing machine and a dryer, candles, fifty nets, fifty… bags… of diapers? And twenty pacifiers? Those perverts.” The list went on, it was a huge list, and VERY costly. How did she possibly have enough money in that backpack? She didn’t.
“I don’t have enough money for all this…”
“Yes you do, look.” Charmander said, and opened the bottom, small pocket. There was a plastic credit card there. No wonder.
“I doubt there’s enough money on that credit card.”
“It doesn’t matter, it’ll ring up as if there was. They won’t notice until the money doesn’t show at the bank.”
“…All right.” Stealing too? Wow. Oh well, she climbed onto Ivysaur’s back, and they rode. Jade fell asleep fifteen minutes into the ride, and didn’t wake up till they were almost there. When they got to the town, most of the people noticed she stunk. She tried to ignore it, gathering her supplies, and plenty of soap and shampoo too, the person who sold her the soap and shampoo looked grateful that she was buying it. Bastards. She also had to get two rather large carts, attaching one to Ivysaur’s back, and another to the cart attached to Ivysaur’s back. Since she was getting so much stuff, she also got a really nice bed.
The ride would be really slow, but at least she would be living in style… kind of. Though, if her Pokémon had their way, they’d be lining up to hop on the bed and do her. Ivysaur included, no matter how much that one hid it. There was nothing better to do, so, on the ride home, Jade slept until Ivysaur woke her up when they got there. All the pokemon insisted she didn’t help unpack, she’d have a lot to do afterwards, anyway, they assured. So she watched. They turned the cave into a large home, though none of the electronic appliances worked.
“Jade, it’s time we explain your job.” Ivysaur said, the other pokemon gathering around. “As you’ve probably noticed, most pokemon seem to want to mate with you upon seeing you. You need to gather one of each type, befriend it, bring it back here, and evolve it. After you do that, I’ll explain the rest.”
“No way am I having sex with every single type of pokemon!”
“You love it and you know it. Think about it for a night, Jade.”
“Whatever…” Jade said, defiantly, and stormed inside, to go to sleep some more on her new bed.
