Suffer for True Love

Alucard looked at Walter in almost desperation as he walked closer to his old warrior companion. He looked on as a mental battle in Walter’s mind raged with the decision whether or not to release Alucard to his full power and let him rescue Ms. Victoria, or not release him, decreasing the chances almost to nothing of saving the No Life King’s fledgling. It was a hard decision to make, even for the old timer, because he had seen the damage that Alucard was capable of at the release of all levels. Even then the release was only for enough time to defeat the enemies they had to. The vampire would revert back to being his dark and crude self in a matter of seconds. Without the Cromwell Limitation holding the vampire’s dark power and partially on his emotions, Walter was not sure whether or not Alucard could control his rage to stop himself from going on an all out massacre after they rescued Seras.
For the first time in the fifty years that Walter had known and worked with Alucard, he heard something he never thought that the No Life King would ever say, “Please, I do not care what my master will do to me after this night.” Alucard, for the first time ever in his dark life, experienced fear and desperation full force, in accordance to his fledgling. He didn’t understand the feelings that he was having at all, and it actually worried him. He had had no idea that he had grown so attached to the woman he had saved more than three years prior. It puzzled him beyond comparison and whenever he thought back to the moment he had heard the ear piercing mental scream of the Police Girl, his chest tightened and he felt an almost breaking sensation inside. The Police Girl made him feel things he had thought impossible and had not experienced in over five hundred years, since before he became a Nosferatu, he continued to Walter in desperation.
“I do not know why, but I must save the Police Girl. She is,” Alucard stopped his thoughts in their tracks, ‘she is special to me.’ The No Life King looked completely dumbfounded. ‘Impossibly unbelievable, the Police Girl has caused me to care for her.’ The vampire was lost in his thoughts as Walter saw another band of ghouls moving towards them. ‘What an interesting prospect.’ He smiled to Walter, which was something rarely seen if not at a morsel to devour, “The Police Girl is special to me. I will not allow any creature to harm what is mine.”
Walter was completely dumbstruck at that moment. Alucard stood and faced the band of ghouls moving towards them. He threw back his head and laughed gleefully, his fang filled grin wide and sarcastic. He had not felt so alive in that moment than he had in over five hundred years, and he relished every moment of it. The anguish he felt for his fledgling caused his own icy heart to feel hot, and finally knowing that his fledgling was special to him, caused his blood to race. Walter stared at the vampire in utter amazement as he saw an emotion he never knew Alucard could actually feel, love. Even though the vampire didn’t know as of yet that he loved his fledgling, Walter knew what the emotion looked like, because he saw it on Integra’s face every time Alucard phased out of her office. She would never tell anyone about her feelings for the vampire but they were present underneath the surface every time he was around.
Walter snapped out of his dumfounded daze and focused on the task at hand. He threw his arms out to both sides and spread the wires on his fingers out wide. Alucard turned his towards the middle aged butler of the Hellsing family as he cocked the Jackal and Consul with his teeth quickly. He shot out multiple bullets to each side, blasting through several ghouls while Walter twined the wires on his fingers around several more of the ghouls and pulled with alarming speed. Dust flew up and then rained down over the battlefield as Alucard advanced through the masses of ghouls before them. His eyes shone red as he ran his arm through three ghouls at once. His blood raced in triumph as he dusted more of the ghouls in the advancing line.
The only thought on his mind was torturing the creature that had taken Seras from him, to the brink of death and then draining the life from the bastard after Alucard had had his fun. First things first though, rescuing Seras was his top priority at that single moment. Alucard yelled across the dust covered battlefield to Walter in one last attempt of desperation. “Walter! Grant the Eternity Release now before it is too late.” Alucard also sent his commanding plea to his master, even though he knew she would be horrifically furious at his attempt to command her. ‘Master, Seras Victoria will die if you do not allow the eternity release. My power is not enough unless I am completely free. The creature will be finished another night. The eternity release is the only way to save her and ensure her survival, without it, she will have no way of staying in this eternal night and will become dust.’ Alucard fought with all of his strength trying to rush past the continuous onslaught of ghouls headed their way.
“RELEASE IT NOW!” Alucard roared in desperation for the final time and then he heard a silent and brief thought from his master. He knew that Walter would receive a radio communication in the earpiece he usually wore during the battles. Walter looked over at Alucard as the vampire plowed through more of the ghouls. He ran towards the No Life King, dusting several ghouls in the process. “Hellsing Family, Operation Cromwell Limitation, Negate all further level restrictions, Activate Eternity Release.” Alucard could barely hear what Walter had said but he knew in his mind that it was the Eternity Release of the Cromwell Limitation. Alucard had tried for years, before his fledgling had come to live at the Hellsing complex, to figure out the pass code. He knew now that he had his freedom and could take revenge on anyone or thing that had caused the hell he had lived for more than 150 years. But truly, revenge on the Hellsing Family didn’t matter to him, Seras was the only thing that mattered in that entire moment of time.
He laughed in triumph as he felt the restriction wards of thousand year old magic release from his power one by one, sending a rush through his veins every time a ward fell. The magic continued to disperse as Walter fought the onslaught of ghouls, while Alucard was lost in the euphoria of absolute power. As the final restriction ward started to disperse, Alucard could feel the presence of Seras’ mind through even the most complex of the creatures own wards against any other dark entity. Walter called out the final pass code of the Eternity Release. “Eternity Release Finalize. Pass Code, Infinite Hell.” Alucard roared into the night sky as his powers encased him a midnight black shroud of bats. He felt his power that had lain dormant for over 150 years, course through his veins like liquid fire. He smiled gleefully and dispersed the black shroud into dagger shaped shadows all around him. Each and every ghoul in the entire battlefield was struck in the chest with pin point accuracy, turning their bodies to dust, that blew away in the night breeze.
An eerie silence settled over the battlefield as Alucard looked up to the red midnight moon. It was time to rescue his No Life Princess from the bastard that dared to harm her. He brought his hands before his face, staring at the white gloves that had encased his hands for over a century. To touch and feel again was a wonderful thing, but he would be able to feel the creature’s blood run over his hands as he would deliver blow after blow. But not this night, another night when the moon would be high and crimson red like freshly spilt blood. He pulled at the white cotton fabric on each hand, causing the fabric to tear and fall to the ground, turning to ash.
He looked to the moon again and felt for his fledgling’s mind. He made it so she could not sense his presence but he wandered through her thoughts quickly. What he found made him roar in agony and self hatred. He had let such terrible and horrific actions fall on Seras, and he knew then and there that he would pay due for the rest of his infinite life, but he didn’t yet know why. Love was an unknown emotion to him that he didn’t know that he was feeling. He looked up at the moon as the surprising realization came into his mind and into his heart. He had not realized it until that moment that he….
Whether what he realized was exciting and wholeheartedly great, or terrifying and utter horrific, that will be decided next time.
Me: sorry for the long wait guys and I took a chance and wrote a longer chapter this time. Seras is still pissed at me though.
Seras: Jazzy I’m gonna kick your ass when I’m out of these ropes.
Me: O.o Who put you in ropes and why are you almost naked?
Seras: What (looks down at her body and screams) GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MASTER What is this
Alucard: I restrained her because she was being a nuisance and I was tired of listening to the whining about you Jasmine, hurting her and degrading her
Me: Well Thanks I guess !o.o’’’’’’’!
Alucard: you are welcome (fangy grin) ^v-v^ now for my fun
Seras: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH JAZZY HELP ME
Me: (puts in ear plugs and types at computer) let them have their fun
