I ended up landing on top of the Hokage’s office. Dad landed beside me and we looked out over the village. As I was looking at the people I could have swore I saw a girl with a white top hat sprint out of a ramen shop and toward the woods.
“BRB!” I called to Dad and took flight making a beeline for the woods. I closed my wings as I hit the treetops. I fell through the branches making sure not to rip my dress and rolled as I hit the ground. I jumped back to my feet and ran after the white top hat.
“Kahiri!” I yelled.
She stopped and spun around clearly shocked. Then she opened her wings.
“Catch me if you can,” she said as she disappeared in a flash of white light.
“Damn it! Damn you Kahiri! Damn you!” I yelled as I skidded to a stop right where she disappeared. “Damn you!”
I walked back out of the woods not able to gather the energy to fly, nor wanting to. I walked to the Hyuga compound and knocked on the door.
“H-h-hello. H-how may I h-help you?” Hinata asked when she opened the door.
“Hello, I’m Kihara Kyuseishu. I was wondering if I could talk to Neji if he’s in,” I said sounding as innocent as I could.
“I-I’ll s-see if h-he’s in. P-p-please c-come on in,” she said opening the door a little wider and gesturing me inside.
I stood in the little lobby type area waiting. I decided that I would check the ramen shop next, and then go find whoever wasn’t there to get the last piece or pieces of the clue.
“Kihara Kyuseishu I presume?” asked a voice that sounded totally full of himself and made me assume that it was Neji.
“Yes, that’s my name don’t wear it-” I started as I turned around and got a good look at him.
“Out,” I whispered taking in all his looks with my eyes.
“How can I help you?” he asked.
“Umm . . . my s-sister . . . Kahiri Kyuseishu. D-did she b-by any chance leave a clue with you?” I asked stumbling over my words as I couldn’t concentrate on anything but how hot he looked.
“Yes she did. Do you like the view?” he asked.
“Yes. Wait, what?” I asked and blushed as red as a tomato.
“I asked if you liked how I looked,” he said laughing at my reaction.
“Well, you look okay. I mean come on, you’re hot and all but I could probably find hotter if I looked hard enough,” I said and then blushed even harder when I realized that I just admitted that I thought Neji was hot now that I saw him in person.
“I doubt that seeing as you haven’t looked away from me for a second,” he said.
“We’re having a conversation, so it would be rude to not look at you while speaking with you,” I said.
“You don’t look like the polite type,” he said.
“Maybe I am, and maybe I’m not. Just so you know we got waaaaaaaaaaaay off topic. Could I get the clue you’re holding now?” I asked.
“What’s the magic word?” he asked.
“Please,” I said and he held out the piece toward me.
I reached out to grab it and he grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to him.
“Just relax,” he said and pressed his lips to mine.
Without thinking I kissed back until he ran his tongue across my bottom lip. I pulled back and took the piece of the clue.
“Thank you for both. Now may I ask a favor of you?” I asked.
“What would that be?” he asked.
“You believe in fate and stuff right?” I asked.
“Yes, why?” he asked.
“Do you see me coming back here anywhere in my future?” I asked.
“Let’s see . . . . . . yes, but not alone. I see you with a man with sandy brown hair and green eyes. He is very protective of you. But in answer to your question, yes you do come back. Is that all you ask of me?” he asked.
“Yup! Thanks Neji,” I said, kissed him on the cheek, turned around, and left.
I walked through the streets of Konoha, and only succeeded in getting lost. I kept trying to find that stupid ramen shop, but every time I turned the next corner I would only end up getting myself even more lost. When I finally turned the corner to find the ramen shop I saw Naruto and Sasuke walking out.
“Hey! Naruto! Sasuke! Wait up!” I called doing my best to sound like Sakura.
“What do you want Sak-. Wait you’re not Sakura, who the hell are you?” Naruto asked as I reached them.
“Hi . . . I’m Kihara . . . my sister . . . Kahiri . . . she said . . . she left . . . a clue . . . with . . . you two,” I said pausing to catch my breath.
“Here,” they both said at the same time handing me their pieces.
“Thank you. I can’t tell you how much I am in your debt,” I said bowing to each of them.
“You don’t have to bow; you’re our age aren’t you?” Sasuke asked.
“Yes, but I’m in the presence of two great ninjas. I will bow to you whether you like it or not. I don’t take orders that well,” I said.
“Two great ninjas. Where’s the other one?” Sasuke asked.
“Believe me, I’ve seen the future and you and Naruto will be great ninjas,” I said.
“Oh really?” Sasuke challenged.
“Yup! And Naruto, you’ll become a wonderful Hokage. Sasuke you’ll become the captain of the anbu,” I said.
“Oh, crap I shouldn’t have said that. Dad’s gonna kill me for telling you that,” I said covering my mouth.
“Well maybe not kill you, but you will be severely punished,” said Dad’s angry voice from behind me.
“Eep,” I said and turned to face Dad.
“Come on, let’s go. You’re in trouble young lady,” Dad said sternly, but I could tell he didn’t mean it so I just continued to play along.
“Yes Dad. Bye guys,” I called and waved behind me as I followed Dad back to the Hokage’s office.
“So, what are we doing Dad?” I asked.
“You’re taking a test to see what level you’re at in mastering your ninja power,” he said as we climbed the stairs to the roof.
When we got there the Hokage was standing on the roof waiting for us.
“You finally found her I see,” the Hokage said.
“Yeah, and she’s ready to take that test. Aren’t you?” Dad asked.
“Yeah. Can’t wait. Nothing would be better than taking a test on something I’ve only read about and never tried,” I said sarcastically.
“If you inherited anything from me you should have no problems with this,” Dad said encouragingly.
“I’ll give it a shot but I blame you if anything goes wrong,” I said and Dad laughed at me.
I started off with chakra control and climbed down and back up the outside of the building without using my hands. Then I tried dopple gangers and was able to pull of the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and they didn’t disappear. I was so excited I tried a whole bunch of other stuff and succeeded at that too. I did notice that I had a very high amount of chakra. Almost an unlimited amount.
Finally I had done everything I could think of and succeeded. Everything except ocular Jutsus. I wasn’t sure if I could do those.
“Why don’t you try some ocular Jutsus?” Dad asked.
“Which one?” I asked.
“Just wing it,” Dad said.
I started off with the Byakugan, then Sharingan, and I just kept trying all the different ocular Jutsus and I nailed them all. I was surprised at my skill.
“Well, well, well. You’ve done excellently. You’ve even surpassed me. And you say you’ve never used you’re chakra before?” the Hokage asked.
“Nope this is the first time,” I said scratching the back of my head.
“My, my, my. It’s too bad you won’t stay for much longer,” he said.
“Heck if it weren’t for my sister’s stupid game I would,” I said and then mentally slapped myself for saying even that much.
“Well, here’s your forehead protector. Good luck to you on your journey,” he said.
“Thank you ever so much Hokage-sama,” I said and turned to Dad and tied it around my neck like Hinata.
“Time to go. Good bye Hokage-sama,” Dad called and took flight.
“Good bye Hokage-sama,” I said and gave him a hug before flying off after Dad.
