Boarding School

Hey Everyone,

Here is another chapter of Boarding School. Now we meet the girls of this story (I bet you know who they are.) Well the next one will come out in two months. I had hard time writing these two chapters because of a writer’s block. If anyone can give me an idea or two, it will help me a lot.

Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes.

Boarding School Chapter 6

Serena started to cook dinner for her dad, sister, and Ilene. She looked at the clock which showed on the microwave. ‘Dad will be home soon and take over dinner,’ she thought. She heard the front door open from the kitchen. ‘Right on time.’

“I’m home!” She head her dad yell.

“I’m the in kitchen starting dinner, daddy,” Serena yelled back. She heard footsteps indicating her dad was coming.

“Wow, smells good,” she heard him say as he walked closer. “What are you making?”

“Angel-haired pasta and vegetables are in the pots, and the meat-loaf is in the oven as we speak,” Serena said stirring the food which was upon the stove before her.

“Yum. Where is Hotaru?” he asked walking beside her. He opened one of the pots that had a lid on it.

“She fell asleep in the living room. I was reading a story to her and before I knew it her head was in my lap, fast asleep,” Serena said. “Now I started dinner, and I will let you finish it, because I have to get ready.” She handed the job over to him.

Serena quickly left the kitchen and went through the dinning room to get to the stairs. After she had gone through all obstacles to get to her room, she opened the door and started to walk to her closet when she remembered some thing. “I haven’t unpacked yet,” she said to herself.

She opened up her luggage she place on her bed earlier that day. “Hmmm, what to wear?”

She pulled out some clothes randomly. “ I will figure it out what to wear, later,” he said as she ran into her bath room. After she was done, she came out with a towel around her body and hair. She looked over the clothes and picked out an off the shoulder pink top and jeans she made into capris. She took off the towel to put on clothes. Once dressed, she went back into her bathroom to dry her hair. She finished and applied he makeup as she looked into the mirror.

“There, I am ready,” she said to her reflection. She looked at her small digital clock on her bathroom counter. “I only have five minutes to be at the school.” She quickly ran out of her bathroom and put on her pink Pumas. She pulled her backpack along with her and a light jacket running down stairs to the front door, taking two steps at a time into order to get there.

“Bye, Daddy!” she yelled opening the front door. She quickly walked across the street to the school. She heard chatting from around the corner, some she recognized others she didn’t. It sounded like the others were four females; she followed the sound and turned the corner into the parking lot of the school. There stood five guys she met today and four females she never saw before.

One of the girls wasn’t listening but instead looking around. She turned her head and noticed another girl looking at them. “Everyone? Is that her?” she asked making everyone of the group turn to Serena.

“Yup. That’s her,” Zach said.

The girl that spoke put a big grin on her face and ran over to Serena. Serena just stopped walking when this strange girl came up to her. The girl stopped and spoke. “Hi! I am Mina Carter,” she said all bubbly putting out her hand. Mina is a bright and warming girl. She is one that follows her own dreams. Mina has long blonde hair (a little like that of Serena’s) which reached to her thighs. A small portion of her hair pulled back by a red bow plus bangs that reached up to her light blue eyes.

Serena looked shocked that this girl before her was so bubbly, so she grabbed the girl’s hand. “I am Serena William and no I am not a tennis player,” she said.

“Well I guess Mina beat us to the punch by introducing herself first. Just to let you know she always does that when meeting new people,” Matt said earning a glare from Mina. Serena noticed everyone coming over.

Serena felt an arm wrap around her shoulder. She tensed up and looked to see who it was. It was Darien. “Let me introduce you to the girls,” he said. “You already met Mina. The one with the long black hair is Raye Hino, the tall one is Lita Myers, and the once standing next to Zach is Any Anderson.”

“Hello,” Serena said,

“Hey.” “Hi.” “Yo!” The three girls replied.

Raye Hino is Japanese, but she moved to England when she was 8. Her Japanese name is Hino Rei, but she rearranged the spelling so people can pronounce it better. She has long black hair that reaches her thighs, and bangs almost covering her purple eyes. She became a priestess at a Japanese temple in the city and continues to keep interest in her Japanese heritage. But watch out, she has one fiery attitude.

Lita Myers is the tallest of the four girls. She has brown hair kept up in a green hair-tie. She had bangs dangling from the pony plus two long strands on either side of her head. Her green eyes are visible from under her bangs. She is an excellent cook and is a black belt in karate. She can be quiet at first but once you get to know her, she will be a great friend.

Amy Anderson is Zach’s girlfriend. She is the smartest one of the four and of the girls’ boarding school. She has short dark-blue hair which she has dyed; she also layered it so she can flip it out when it is styled. Her bangs are parted along the middle of her head so she can keep them out of the way. She has dark blue eyes. Amy is a shy girl among new people. Usually it takes all of the girls to get her to open up to meet new people. She was lucky when she opened up to Zach.

“So… what are we doing tonight?” Jed asked.

“Thinking about hitting a movie, then eating at a burger place,” Matt said.

“Okay, then. Lita, Nate, Zach, Amy, and Raye will go with Jed in his SUV. Matt, Mina, and with you lovely Serena will go with me,” Darien said.

“Okay,” everyone said and nodded.

A phone started to ring “Umm, that is my phone,” Serena said. “You guys get in the car this will only take a minute.” Everyone headed toward the cars.

“Hello?” she answered.

“Hey babe?” a voice said.

“Andrew?”

“Yup, it’s me. How are you doing?”

“Fine. I was just going to go hang out with some people I met here,” she said.

“Oh, okay. Well I will let you go, okay?” Andrew asked.

“Okay.”

“Remember I love you and miss you.”

“Me too. Bye!” She hung up the phone. She saw a black car pull along the side and the window rolled down.

“Are you getting in?” a voice said.

Serena nodded and went to the left side of the car to open the passenger door. (AN: Thought I would tell you. In England, everything is reversed. The driver is on the right, the passenger is on the left, and they driver on the left hand side. Okay? So you guys won’t get confused.) She got in and saw Darien at the wheel, Mina behind him, and Matt behind her. She closed the door and buckled her seatbelt as the car drove off.

“So, Serena?” Serena turned her head to Mina in the backseat. “Who were you talking to on the phone?” she asked.

Serena blushed a little. “Well, it’s a… friend,” she said.

Mina gave her a sly look. “Whatever you say. I bet it was your boyfriend from back home.”

Serena sighed. “Yes, that was him.”

“Oyo! Girl, you better explain about him,” Mina said cheerfully.

A groan came from Matt. “Mina, do that later when Darien and I aren’t around. The last thing we need is girl talk. Am I right, Dare?” he asked.

“Huh? Oh, yeah,” Darien said quietly.

“We will discuss this later okay, Mina?” Serena asked taking a quick glance at Darien.

Mina sat back with a pout on her face. “Okay.”

The foursome sat in silence as the car drove into the parking lot of the movie teather. The car stopped and Darien turned off the car. Serena and Darien opened the door and pulled the seat forward to let Matt and Mina out. The four walked to the group who was waiting for them.

“Took you long enough,” Jed said.

“Shut up, Jed. We only got here early because you drove like a maniac,” Raye said.

“At least I got everyone here in one piece,” he yelled facing her.

“Yeah right! You nearly killed is by making that right turn,” she yelled back.

“So, at least I am not a slut!”

Raye’s mouth went wide. “You did not just call me a slut?”

Jed smiled. “I just did.”

Raye brought her hand up and slapped Jed across the face. “I am not a slut! And I wouldn’t be talking if I were you. You have a new girl each week!” Raye yelled and stormed off to the entrance of the movie theater.

“I’ll go calm her down,” Mina said. “Raye, wait up!” she yelled chasing after her.

“She wants me,” Jed said with a smile and rubbed his cheek.

“You really are an ass when it comes to women, Jed,” Lita said.

“Yes. You will never find someone to love if you keep up like that,” Nate said to his friend.

“Shut up, Nate!” Jed grumbled.

“What movie are we going to see?” Amy asked to change the subject.

“We will just see what movie is playing at this time,” Matt said.

“Okay!” Some of them said. The group walked up into the line to pay for their tickets.

Once they got their drinks and popcorn, they settled in their seats in the dark movie theater. Amy and Zach sat in the back so they could have their ‘alone’ time. Jed and Raye were off in their own world and would be making out in their seats near the front. There was no sign of either Lita or Nate anywhere and all that was left was Serena, Darien, Mina, and Matt. Serena and Mina sat in the middle with Darien and Matt on either side of them.

Serena saw Jed and Raye going at it. “Hey Mina?” Serena said to get the girl’s attention.

“Yeah?” Mina asked.

“What’s the deal with Jed and Raye?” Serena asked. “I thought they weren’t a couple.”

“Well, they are the people who are ‘friends with benefits.’ They really aren’t the people to be with one another or other people. They are only in it for the fun. But I think they really want to be with one another,” Mina explained.

“Oh!” Serena understood. She looked behind her to find that girl Lita and guy Nathan walking in. ‘I bet they are together,’ she thought. “Mina? Are Lita and Nathan together?”

“Are you kidding me? Those two are like brother and sister, best friends I could say. They never thought of each other that way,” Mina said putting her popcorn in her mouth.

“Okay,” Serena said.

The movie they picked was “The Others.” (AN: I just put a scary movie and I don’t care what you guys say.) They movie was at the part where the family was running from the people they hired. Mina was clinging onto Matt beside her and his right arm was around her. Lita and Nathan came closer to watch the movie and sat on the other side of Darien. Jed and Raye were still at it and left to find a more private location to finish what they started. Amy and Zach came from the back and sat on the other side of Matt. Serena and Darien were the only ones not really scared.

Serena just watched the movie when she started to shiver from the cold theater. She left an arm wrap around her shoulders. She was shocked and looked at Darien. She stared into his beautiful eyes.

“Sorry, I hope it is all right, but you were cold, and I hate it seeing a girl cold,” he said.

Serena nodded and turned back to watch the movie.

Darien smirked at Serena. ‘Before you know it, you won’t be with that boyfriend anymore, then you will be all mine for the taking,’ he thought and turned his head to watch the movie with the same smirk.
