First off, I need to thank Captain Yuzuki, Aleera, Alyssa, and Animekid for the amazing support!!! That was the greatest! I got yelled at for screaming about how great my reviews are.. yeah.
This chapter will be long, I hope. I’ll try to make it interesting, but I don’t think it will be hard.
Warnings: Netamu and Yumeyu are my creations so no stealing! I do not own Trigun. The people who made Trigun own it. (Sorry if I return Legato slightly wrinkled)

Chapter 7:

Wolfwood gave a heavy sigh as he and the woman continued up the stair. One eye kept a close watch on Yumeyu as the other kept a look at the stairs. As a member of the Gung-ho-Guns, he had learned exactly how to keep his attention on two things at the same time. A necessary skill if you planned on living past 21.

The entire walk up the stairs had been quiet. Yumeyu had the same smirk they left the lobby with, but was oddly quieter than Wolfwood had ever seen her.

“So.. Where’d you come from?” Wolfwood finally asked, tired of the eerie silence that rested between them.

“I came from no where.” She smiled over at him. “Some small little town that no one has ever heard of. ( Sounds like where I come from.)”

Wolfwood blinked and stared at her smile. ‘Not again.. She has that same smile as Vash first did when I met him. It’s just a pitiful mask to the real heart-ache she’s felt.’
( Remember that episode? Yeah, its from that one.)

“So.. You like Vash eh?” The corners of her lips curled as she flashed her teeth in a real smile.

“What… how?” Wolfwood stuttered as his eyes grew wide and locked with Yumeyu’s. “You’re not-”

“Oh, quit trying to hide it. Everyone sees it. The way you two look at each other when the other isn’t looking. It’s actually quite sad to watch sometimes.” Yumeyu looked down and stopped walking before she finally looked back up. “That was what I was talking about. Vash, he really likes you, a lot. I don’t get it how you couldn’t notice.”

“Wolfwood only sees.. What he wants to see.” Came a deep whisper from hidden lips.

Recognition instantly showed in the depths Wolfwoods eyes. “Yumeyu, go.”

“Why should she leave? We have already spoken wine ane another. I’d say she knows who I am.”

Wolfwood looked as the girl who stood surprised beside him. She turned her head to him and mouthed a name.

Legato.

“See Nicholas. She knows who I am.”

Yumeyu threw her hands over her mouth and looked at Wolfwood with strained, pleading eyes.

Legato stepped forward, clad in his trench coat and a cocky smile. “Yumeyu.. Why don’t you come with me. I wish to speak with you.. Alone. I’m sure Nicholas will want to go visit Vash, alone.”

She let her hands fall from her mouth and regained her composure. “Sure..um.. Wolf, tell Vash.”

Wolfwood furrowed his brows. “Legato, if you-”

“Don’t fret old friend, I won’t harm her.” ‘Not yet.’

‘Not yet.’ Wolfwood sneered before turning his back to the pair and starting up the stairs.

Vash curled himself tighter into a ball as more tears of pain and embarrassment fell freely down his face. The once white sheets, now stained red with blood, shuffled with the movement as Vash tried to keep his entire body covered.

‘Oh Wolfie.. Where are you.. I need you..” He let out a whimper as Nicks face flashed in his mind. Just thinking of him made Vash feel better.

The man attempted to sit up and tried to ignore the red hot burning that ran up his spine. Just as he finally found himself upright, a shadow appeared in the doorway.

“.. Vash?” Wolfwood stepped forward and gasped as he soaked up the scene before him. Vash, his face stained with tears, tangled up in a mess of blood stained sheets. “Vash, what in the name of God happened?”

Vash turned and looked at Wolfwood before a new flow of tears started pouring down his face. “Wolfie…” Vashes lower lip trembled as Wolfwood ran forward and cradled the broken man in his arms. “Wolfie.. It hurts.”

Wolfwood shifted so he was sitting on the bed with Vash lying fully cradled in his arms. “It was Legato…”

Vash looked up with tear-filled eyes and nodded before he buried his face in Wolfwoods chest. Wolfwood reached behind his head and gently stroked his soft blonde locks.

“Lets get you in the bath, then I’ll run down to the doctors.”

“NO! I can’t leave here .. he’s out there.” Vash began to tremble as thoughts of Legato returned.

The pair sat in silence for a few moments as both reviewed the situation. Vash lay trembling in the arms of the man he loved. Wolfwood cradled the man HE loved in his arms. Neither one wished to say what they knew they had to say.

“Vash.. I.. I..”

Vash looked up at Wolfwood as the man tripped over his own wor

“I.. I should get you in theh.” h.” He finally breathed out as disappointment burned in the others eyes.

( Me: *falls on head* )

Vash gave a quiet sigh as Wolfwood struggled to stand without hurting the treasure in his arms. Soon he laid Vash out on his back. “I’ll go start the water.” He hovered over Vash a moment before he ran off to start the water.

Vash closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he felt more warm blood flowing from his torn entrance. Pain continued to radiate from places Vash didn’t know existed outside of his wet dreams. What seemed like hours later, Wolfwood returned, carrying a towel.

He knelt by Vashes side and peeled the sheets away from the half-conscious man. Quickly draping the towel over Vash saved him the embarrassment of beings shown completely to Wolfwood.

Vash, with help from Wolfwood, sat up and got into the others arms to be carried into the bathroom. A smile found Vashes face as he looked at the bath that sat ready for him. Enticing steam billowed out of the porcelain basin that was almost completely filled with crystal water. (Yeah I know, I’m such a poet. ^-_-^’’’’’’’)

Wolfwood carefully laid Vash into the liquid sauna and let him relax. His eyes secretly watched the cloud of blood that appeared as Vash was placed in his bath.

“Wolfwood..” Vash whispered to get the priests attention. “You.. You came for me.” His eyes filled with tears as he reached up and grabbed Wolfwoods hands. “I.. Love you.”

OKAY! I’m leaving it there. *avoids the random fruits that are being hurled at my head* The reason for that is so I have something to pick up at when I get back from New York City. I hope you all liked that chapter.
