Studies of the heart: Chapter 7.

Wolfwood's eyes opened and he sat up in bed. A smile crossed his features as he noticed Vash clinging to his waist, his arms wrapped around him. He reached down and stroked his hand through the messy blonde hair, pushing strands out of Vash's eyes.Vash mumbled in his sleep and cuddled closer, making Nicholas chuckle. He eaned down and pressed a loving kiss to vash's lips, stroking his thumb along his cheek affectionately.Vash sighed in response and Wolfwood broke the kiss and smiled warmly.

"I love you vash....I'll never let anyone take you from me..."

A little while later the two were sitting down for breakfast and contemplating what to do that day, as neither of them had classes. Vash tapped a chopstick thoughtfully on the table, his mind turning over ideas.

"Hmm....maybe we could go for a walk around the park this afternoon. The cherry blossoms are in bloom and I've been wanting to see them. If you wanted to we could bring food and have a picnice under one. How's that sound Nick?"

Nicholas turned from his pan of steadily burning eggs and looked to vash smiling, still remembering that morning when he'd woken up.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea vash. It's been a long time since we had a picnic anywhere. Let's get the dorm cleaned up first, and then we can set out ok?"

Vash nodded enthusiasticaly and jumped up and down in his chair like an excited puppy.

"Yes sir! This dorm will be spotless!"

The two had just finished breakfast and were in the process of washing the dishes, when they heard the dorm room door oen, and Knives walked in. He had a strange glow about him as he passed them, and Wolfwood and vash exchanged looks of confusion.Vash walked over and poked his brother as Knives flopped down on the couch sighing happily and beaming.

"Knives? Where have you been?..You've been gone all night. What happened brother?"

Knives got this dazed stupid look in his eye that vash knew all too well and he lauhged as knives spoke in a dreamy tone.

"I met an angel....she was beautiful..and perfect..and she was so..hot..."

Wolfwood laughed as he walked out of the kitchen, drying his hands on a dish towel. He strolled over and clapped Knives on the back, leaving a wet hand print.

"Ha ha ha! Congradulations Knives! Sooo let's have details. What's her name? How old is she? Do we know her"

Knives laughed and shook his head.

"No, her name is Meryl Stryfe and she's a waitress over at the Little Ben cafe down the street from campus. I happened to run across an alley and she was being attacked. I naturally helped her out and I walked her back to her apartment. She and her friend...Milly I belive it was, they had miso and they gave me some. We stayed up for so long talking that the hours got too late and I wound up staying there. But Oh my god guys you won't belive this...I kinda asked her to go out with me.."

"Milly?"

"No Meryl..get it right Vash.."

"Sorry.."

"Ok so anyway yeah i asked her to go out with me and she said yes! I have a girlfriend now isn't that awesome!?"

He couldn't keep the smile off his face and Vash laughed and ruffled his hair teasing him.

"Ha ha welcome to the world of love Knives. It's sheer bliss. You'll grow to love it."

Unbenownst to the three of them someone stalking outside the door had overheard them, and he smirked and ran his fingers through his long black hair, tucking it behind his ear, and he walked off down the hallway knowing he'd done a good job collecting information.

"The park eh? Legato will be pleased to hear this..."

He looked back at the room one more time, chuckling to himself in anticipation and he hurried over to the bar Legato and the rest of the gang he belonged to took up residence. The called themselves for lack of a better word the Gung Ho Guns, and Legato was their leader. As he approached the office door in the back a woman with purple hair and a white suit on ushered him in and he bowed before Legato and told him his findings.

"The park?Hmmmm....Well it's a bit public but it will have to do. Thank you Rei Dei. You may leave now."

Rei Die bowed quickly again and rose, walking to the door and stepping out to go find something else to do. Legato looked down at his watch and didn't notice as Midvalley entered silently after Rei Die had exited the room, the door making a soft swish as it closed, and the musician padded over to Legato and went around to the back of his chair, sliding his hands down and over the blue haired man's arms and chest, undoing buttons and slipping his hands inside brushing over the muscular form of Legato's torso. He smirked and nipped his neck, making the other shudder and moan softly.

"Mmmmm I'm ready for my payment now Gato-san..."

Legato inclined his head back, his hair falling over his face and he let out a soft breath tickling Midvalley's face and he stared up at him with those unnatural yellow eyes, which seemed to glow in the light of the room.

"As you wish Midvalley.....I will oblidge with pleasure..but do be sure not to take too long. We are scheduled to meet our prey in the park today.."


Midvalley smirked and pounced, tackling Legato out of his chair and laying over him on the ground, pinning him and licking up his neck as he got the rest if his buttons undone and shed the pristine white coat, pulling it off his slender shoulders. He leaned down and licked Legato's chest hungrily, before coming back up and kissing him deeply, sucking on his tongue.


"Mmmm, I won't forget babe. But right now..you're the only prey I'm after...." (Yeah cliche I know...>_<)

Meanwhile Vash and Wolfwood were busy in the kitchen of their apartment cooking up things to take with them to the park. Vash wanted donuts among other things and Wolfwood wanted spicy foods. This started a a heated argument until Knives clocked them both on the head and told them to make bentos. They agreed and now they both had two neatly packed bento lunches tied and ready to go.They left the apartment in a happy mood and parted ways with Knives so he could go to Meryl's, still wearing what Vash dubbed "The love drunk" grin, and they entered the park grounds at about noon. They spent the next few hours walking among the cherry blossoms laughing and cutting up. Vash pointed out the different colors of the blossoms as they walked, and Wolfwod found himself unable to focus on anything else but the man in front of him. He was glad that Vash was feeling better after the attack the other day, and before he registered what he was doing he had reached out and caught Vash's hand as the blonde reached up to point at yet another of the random blossoms around the path. Vash blushed and looked confused at the sudden action, but Wolfwood just smiled lovingly at him and squeezed his hand gently. Vash looked down at their joined hands and he smiled back, then gasped and stumbled a bit as Wolfwood surged forward and kissed him right there in public. His cheeks flushed and he kissed him back, his back hitting one of the trees as the darker haired man probed his mouth with his tongue, and he moaned lightly, but he knew this was not the place to be doing these sorts of things so he pulled away from the kiss with a laugh and a smile, wraping his arms around Wolfwood's neck.

"Ha ha I love you Nicholas, but why go straight for the main course when you can take your time and savour the appetizers first?"

He held out the backpack he was wearing with the bentos in it and smirked. Wolfwod came over and at under the tree spreading the blanket out, and Vash sat down beside him starting to unpack them.

"Nick...I love you.."

"I love you to vash.."

"AI GODS MIDVALLEY!!"

Legato cried out his release and clung to Midvalley as they completed their seventh round of what the black haired musician had called "payment". Midvalley pumped hard a few more times into Legato before the presure of legato's muscles clamping around him forced his own climax to spill from him into the other, and he gasped and panted pulling out and sitting up stretching. He looked down at legato and smirked running his fingertips over the blue haired man's swollen lips, shivering at the man's warm breath as he panted along with him.

"Payment Completed. I do belive you enjoyed it as much as I did Gato-san.."

Legato smiled wckedly and laughed

"Well I do belive I did. Very well done Midvalley."

Midvalley went chibi and little blue lines appeared on his forehead.

"That's all...?! Well done?!"

He shrugged and began to head for the door to get his stuff together, when a thought struck him and he turned back to Legato, who was in the process of pulling his white coat back on. Legato stopped and grinned evilly, cocking one blue eyebrow at him.

"I know that look Midvalley..what are you plotting?"

Midvalley walked back over to Legato looking him in the eye. He said in his most sincere voice...

"Well my dear Legato, I was just pondering on the fact of how we could hurt them most, and I devised a plan just now of how we can do it. We'll grab that boyfriend of his and keep him out of the way, and perhaps a little gang bang is in order eh? Of course you as our leader would be the first and last to have a go at him. It would crush them both in so many ways and it will better prove our point that no one messes with the Gung Ho Guns and gets away with it. So what do you say Gato? Will it work for you?"

Legato's yellow eyes practicaly gleamed with anticipation and revenge, and he smirked and turned to Midvalley nodin his approval of the plan.

"Yes very good Midvalley...Now go and tell the others to meet us in the park around five. We attack under cover of darkness, do not show your faces and do not speak. We do not need to risk any foul ups. Do you understand me?"

Midvalley bowed and nodded.

"Yes Legato-sama..I understand..it will be done"

"Good you may leave."

As Midvalley left and the door closed behind him, Legato went to the window and looked out over the city streets, his features framed by the light of the streetlamps flowing into the window. He smiled and evil smile and waited for the hour to arrive.

"Vash you escaped me last time, but this time for sure I will garuntee that you suffer...
tonight you will be mine.."

Whooo holy shit that last line made me shiver when I wrote this...I'm sorry again that it took this long but college and work at the same time can really kill off a lot of plot bunnies if you know what I mean..I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will continue to write more as they come to me so just bear with me if it seems as though I've died.
