Night\'s Obsession

Yohji looked at Schuldich and flopped down into the soft couch. He nuzzled into fire orange hair and sighed deeply breathing in the scent that seemed to fallow his love. The smell was of expensive cologne and the odd sent of a physic shop that has burned one too many different sticks of incense. It was a pleasant smell and calmed him greatly. \"Still upset about Kai?\" Schu asked gently stroking his head, which he shook then nodded. \"Yes but not for the reason you think. Some one came in looking for Ran and Shion. Ken said he gave him the creeps and I saw why this guy spooked me. He was evil Schuldich I could feel it. I\'m scared for the four of them and us or any one that crosses that man\'s path.\" He felt his love nod and pull away. Jade eyes stared into his and he sighed as the soft voice whispered in his head. \"No I haven\'t told them. Either of them and the funny thing is they both walked in shortly after this guy left.\" He sighed and snuggled into his love again trying not to cry.

Ran stared at the card with his once loves number on it. It was odd that as all these strange things were happening Hiroshi showed up and proved to be alive. Ken came into the room where he lay sprawled across the bed and kissed him snuggling into his side. \"You can call him Ran, I won\'t be mad.\" He smiled at big chocolate eyes staring at him with a look of sweet trust that had him melting. \"I\'m not sure I want to Ken. So much has happened these past week or so. I think all of it may be tied to him but...Ken, Hiroshi was very powerful the first second he was a full vampire. I\'m afraid of what he might be able to do to me. I\'m not sure about any of this Ken.\" His kitten gently soothed his hair and kissed his cheek cradling him gently. \"If you\'re not sure think about it. If you don\'t feel good about it don\'t do it. I love you and trust you Ran and whatever choice you make is fine with me. However if he even thinks he can take you away from me he is horridly mistaken, I\'ll kill for you Ran and I\'ll fight to the death if I have too. He may have age and power over me but I have several things he does not have. I won\'t underestimate him but I can almost promise you he will underestimate me and that\'s when I\'ll win. Understand this Ran if you go to him and fall in love you have to come and tell me it\'s over other wise I won\'t let you go with out a fight.\" He smiled and pulled his love close kissing him deeply. \"I\'ll never let you go Ken. I love you too much for my own good. Something about this does feel all wrong Ken.\" He smiled and tore the card tossing it in the trash.

Ran sat looking at the torn card and bit his lip calling the number. He knew his love didn\'t want him to see Hiroshi but he couldn\'t help himself. Ken was at work and Yohji was having his love do some investigating with him so Ken would be gone till at least ten or eleven at night. He called the number and waited for a few seconds when that deep voice picked up the phone. \"What?\" He smiled slightly glad his love hadn\'t changed in the least. \"Hiro.\" He breathed softly. His voice was met with silence then a soft question. \"Ran?\" He almost jumped for joy. \"Yes. Oh god Hiro it\'s so good to heir your voice. I thought you were dead. Come to the Central café and I\'ll meet you there. Hiro I want so badly to see you again.\" He hung up once it was agreed to and smiled getting ready.

Hiroshi sat silently watching people pass by and come when he noticed the cherry red hair and smiled standing. Violet eyes met his and he rushed into warm arms he thought he would never feel around him. \"Hiro.\" His dusk purple lips met sweet soft rose-petal in a fevered kiss. \"Ran my love.\" He looked up into warm eyes and kissed the man again. \"Hiro.\" He was kissed deeply and an eager tongue came and met his. He moaned into the kiss and pulled the other man closer.

Crawford looked out the window then blinked at the redhead who was none other than Ran kissing some one who was not Ken. He looked at his lover who seemed very absorbed in driving or maybe he was trying to decide if he should hit the nun crossing the street. They drove off and his mind flashed to an image of a pained Ran chained to a bed looking at the man he was just kissing with pleading eyes. \"Please Hiro let them go. Hiro this isn\'t right.\" The other man snarled and smacked him hard. His vision faded and he looked at his love. \"Go to Yohji\'s now!\" The car took a sharp corner and the siren flicked on as the gears were pushed and the car gained speed. Taking sharp turns and stopping at Yohji\'s agency.

Ken looked up and smiled at Crawford and Farf. The man with glasses looked at him and the glasses did their creepy flashing thing. \"Where is Ran?\" He shrugged and looked back at the paper work he was doing. He\'d be leaving with Yohji once night fell so now he could get caught up. \"The antique shop from what he told me. He might be at the flower shop or at home.\" Two hands slamming on the wood surface of his desk causing it to crack made him jump and look at the ebony haired man like a frightened rabbit cornered by a fox. \"Call him.\" He nodded and grabbed the phone quickly calling Ran\'s cell. The phone rang a few times and no one answered. \"Um he\'s not picking up.\" The glasses flashed and gold eyes stared him down. \"Care to know why your lover isn\'t answering his phone? Well I\'ll tell you it\'s because he is at Central Café kissing another man with navy hair.\" He shook his head and leaned forward. \"Crawford it wasn\'t Ran. First of all Ran wouldn\'t kiss another guy, second from what you are telling me Ran would have had to lie to me which he wouldn\'t do.\" The other man looked almost calm except for the fist coming down that snapped his desk like a twig sending wood splinters everywhere. \"He is Ken! I would not lie to you. Come with me.\" His wrist was grabbed in a vice like grip and he was dragged from the office as Farefello calmly sat playing with his knife waiting to tell Yohji what happened.

Ken stared in horror and shock as his lover the man that promised him forever stood kissing another man in public. Ran would hardly ever kiss him in this public of an area. The park was fine because it was mostly empty and a few other places were fine if they were small sweet kisses. \"Oh god.\" He sat back staring out the front window then looked over to the man that drove him here. \"Brad take me back to work I promised Yohji I\'d help him.\" The other man looked at him but nodded. \"Ken I wouldn\'t have done this if I didn\'t like you as much as I do. I\'m sorry.\" He shrugged and sighed. \"Don\'t be. It\'s my fault. It\'s my fault for being stupid and trusting that Ran wouldn\'t return to his past lover but apparently I was wrong. It\'s my fault for trusting him the way I did. Just take me back to work and explain my desk to Yohji.\" The other man nodded and headed back.

Ran smiled brightly at Hiroshi and took his hand. The man was just as lovely as he remembered but he tasted funny almost rotten. He was on cloud nine he was so happy. \"Lets get lunch and talk.\" The other nodded still smiling stormy eyes a light with joy. They took a table at the café and ordered some drinks and a light lunch. \"Hiro what happened?\" The other man smiled a bit wickedly and shrugged taking his had. \"Does it matter? We have forever to talk Ran. I\'m so happy we can be together again.\" He pulled away and shook his head. \"Hiro it\'s been four hundred years since I thought you died. I\'ve moved on and I found some one who makes me feel complete as if he is the missing part of my soul. Hiro I loved you I did but I can\'t and won\'t leave Ken. He is my soul mate and I love him with all my heart. I don\'t want to hurt you but we hardly knew one another and no matter how much I loved you and still do you can never compare to Ken. I\'m sorry Hiro.\" The other man looked sad and gently grabbed his hand holding it firmly in a reassuring way. \"It has been a long time Ran and I understand. It hurts but I understand. That kiss confuses me though.\" He sighed deeply and looked down. \"I was just happy to see you. I\'m sorry.\" The other man smiled softly and tenderly kissed his cheek then paid for lunch and they talked.

Ken felt dead on his feet. He wanted nothing more than to curl up with Ran but the other man had to tell him something first. He smiled at his koi who was reading and gently took his hand pulling him down for a long sweet kiss. \"How was your day Ran?\" The other looked guilty for a few seconds then sighed deeply gently stroking his hair. \"I called Hiroshi and I met him for lunch. I kissed him Ken and I know I shouldn\'t have but I was so happy to see that he was alive because part of me still loves him as a friend or how you still love Kase.\" He smiled and kissed Ran deeply sighing happily. \"Are you mad kitten?\" He shook his head and smiled softly. \"No, I would have been if you lied to me because Crawford saw you two as did I. You still love me best right?\" The tender smile he was given answered all his questions and eased his mind. \"Not best Ken, only. I only love you because you complete me koi kitten. I do love Hiroshi but more as a friend or a...I\'m not sure but yes Ken I love you best.\" He grinned and sighed rolling out of his lover\'s arms and sitting up glaring at the bathroom door. \"There is something else Ken and I want to know what you think. Do I taste or smell funny to you?\" He blinked at his lover and leaned forward inhaling the sweet scent and then kissed his love deeply letting his tongue taste the wonderful sweetness that was Ran. \"You taste a bit like you ate chocolate but other wise no. Why?\" His love smiled and stroked his face and he closed his eyes leaning into the touch. \"Because Hiroshi tasted and smelled like he was rotting. I never noticed it on Shion. Just checking. I\'ll talk with Shion tomorrow about it and see what he thinks it is.\" He nodded and was pushed up. \"Go take a shower Ken you smell bad.\" He grumbled and stood stretching. \"Yohji and I sat in the car so it got really hot.\" His love nodded and he stood stumbling over to the bathroom.

Ran smiled gently and took pity on his poor koi. He could tell Ken was beyond exhausted and just needed some love. Some days Ken really was like a kitten, acting all strong and independent but needing just as much love and attention. He stood and walked into the bathroom striping and sliding into the shower with his love and slowly started to wash the slightly stinky body and hair. He could understand Ken\'s smell it was natural but Hiro\'s... He shook his head of all thoughts of the other man and tenderly kissed his love who was dozing against him. He had never seen any one fall asleep in the shower and he wasn\'t surprised it was Ken that he was the first to see. He rinsed all suds of the lovely body and lifted his love grabbing the towel and setting the brunet on their bed gently drying him then dressing him in the new pajamas he bought for his love. They didn\'t ware much to bet or any thing but he had a feeling Ken would love these. He kissed soft lips and brown eyes fluttered open then slowly closed as he held the warm body tightly to him.

Ran rolled over and picked up the phone as the morning light blinded him. He wanted to kill who ever was calling him unless it was Yohji calling to tell him Ken had the day off. Spending time with Ken was a far cry from a death warrant. \"Hello?\" He asked sleepily while gently stroking his lover\'s hair. \"Hay Ran this is Schuldich. I was calling for Yohji to tell you Ken can stay home because Yohji can\'t even get out of bed. Sorry for calling so early but I know Ken well enough to know he\'ll be getting up soon. Oh and ask Ken to check the messages once he\'s up Yohji can\'t remember the number.\" He nodded and hung up then clicked off the alarm and snuggled back into his lover breathing deeply the warm scent of summer that lingered all over Ken. He smiled and reached over unplugging the phone as well then drifted back to sleep.

Ken woke up feeling warm and happy and not the least bit sleepy which was odd considering he didn\'t get home till midnight and Ran made him shower which was oddly the last thing he remembered. He blinked at the glowing green numbers of his clock and sat up quickly only to have Ran yank him back down. \"Ran I\'m really late!\" Violet eyes cracked out open and looked at him blandly. \"Schu called and said Yohji couldn\'t get out of bed he was too tired so you my love have the day off.\" He grinned and snuggled back into his love feeling warm and fuzzy? He blinked and looked down at the pajamas with cute little kittens playing with yarn or other things. \"Oh I like them thank you baby.\" He leaned forward and captured warm soft lips that eagerly returned his kiss with fever. Ran quickly pinned him to the bed and smirked slowly nibbling down his neck then taking one of the buttons to his pjs in his mouth and flicking it open with tongue and teeth slowly laving his skin with a hot tongue moving down to the next button gently nibbling and licking every new inch of exposed skin. He was panting heavily once his love had his shirt all the way unbuttoned.

Ran smiled at his sweet love who was flushed a very lovely color. He smiled and tied Ken\'s hands with the tie from his robe then to the bedpost. He licked his lips looking at the beautiful boy at his mercy. He started slow sweet kisses and moved down giving his lover\'s chest more attention then gently nibbled right along the waist bad of Ken\'s pants. \"Ah...yes...Ran...Please...oh....\" He smiled and slowly pulled down the soft pants nibbling the skin and leaving a nice mark on Ken\'s honey hip. \"Ken roll over.\" His love did as bit with some difficulty. He started nibbling and kissing the soft tender skin gently nibbling along the slender column of the spine. He rolled his love back over and kissed him deeply yanking off the pants and looking over his lover\'s wonderful body. He smiled and kissed his love deeply lubing his fingers and gently thrusting them into the tight body.

Shion growled and looked at Hiroshi. How the man found him was beyond him but he could smell the stench of rotting flesh all over them man and that could only mean one thing Hiroshi had turned into the very darkness it\'s self. He no longer turned people to help them or for love but to have them serve him. Vampires like that were sick and their masters always smelled and tasted of rot. He stood in front of Kai holding his arm out so no harm could come to the sweet girl the other man was eyeing like a hungry dog eyes steak. \"Shion, you don\'t look happy to see me. Who is that lovely girl with you?\" He snarled using his whole body to block Kai from view his eyes growing dark. \"Leave Hiroshi. I never liked you in the first place and I hoped never to see you again. Ran was an idiot for creating you, I smell your wickedness.\" The other man threw his head back and laughed darkly eyes glinting dangerously. \"Ran claims he is in love. He dose not know love Shion, not like I do. I have been consumed by my love for Ran for 400 years. I will get him back.\" He felt Kai move closer to him and he tried to push her back. \"It\'s you who doesn\'t know love. Love doesn\'t consume you lust does, love surrounds you. You don\'t know love and that\'s why you smell like rotting meat because you are nothing more than a sick bag of bones that is rotting in your own self absorbed need for sex.\" Hiroshi moved like lightning and stood toe to toe with Kai. \"Stay out of my way girl or you will get hurt I promise you. You are the one who knows nothing of love. I just came here to warn Shion to stay out of my way.\" He had no clue where the knife came from but it was all to clear his love knew how to use it. \"Any harm comes to Ran or any one close to him and I will teach you the meaning of pain. Touch a single hair on Ran or Ken\'s body and you will get hurt I promise you. Don\'t underestimate me because you will be sorry. Now leave, I never want to see you again.\" Hiroshi grinned and moved but so did Kai and the arm Hiroshi was trying to use to pull his love forward ended up with a seven-inch slash. He blinked as the other man snarled and left. He needed to talk to Ran and now.
