Chapter seven: The Abduction

Turning his head, D glanced down at the sleeping young woman in his arms." You owe me." He heard from his left palm.

" Why?" D asked.

" Because I kept to my own business while you took care of your own." Lefty explained.

D rolled his eyes slightly,caressing Sabriel's back slowly. He scanned her calm sleeping face, then looked at her neck, the bite mark he'd left on her.

The face in his palm chuckled wickedly." Ah so you penatrated more then just her maidenhood." He mused.

" I did not drink her blood. Nor did she drink mine. I bit her to lessen the pain of me taking her virginity. And she bit me in the mist of passion. " He explained calmly.

The face smirked," I would assume that you enjoyed her." He mused.

" I did. " he paused and looked around the room. He gently moved Sabriel to the side and got out of the bed.

" You know your body is tight. Why wait until now to get a piece of ass?" He face asked, as D dressed.

" What the hell do you care?"

" Because, I hate seeing you, my best friend in sexual frustration." He face explained.

D, fully dressed now, brushed back his long hair and grabbed his cloak, hat, and sword. Then stared for a moment longer at Sabriel. He walked over to the writting desk. Finding a piece of paper and pen. He quickly wrote something down and set it beside Sabriel's head on the pillow. Then he leaned down and lightly kissed her sweet red lips." I promise I'll return to see you." He muttered, before departing.

As he reached out front of the house, D stared up at the rising sun.He walked towards the stables. " I need a Cyber horse." He began. Walking towards the man in the stables.

The man glanced at him, and nodded,"Depends. What one have you got your eyes on,stranger?" He asked.

" The black one." Was all he said.

" $4,000." The man answered. D paid it. And saddled the black cyber horse and rode out of the stables.

" Do you really think we should go see Demitri?" Lefty asked after several hours of silence between the two.

" He knows, Doma. Perhaps he has the answers I am looking for." D mused.

" You know you really should have stayed with Sabriel." The face suggested." Like Morrigan warned".

" Sabriel will be fine, Doma is not awake yet." D said." I will be back to protect her before Jedah's arrival."

" I don't know, the planets were in aline as of last night. I would imagine that made his time perfect."

D pulled the horse to a pause. And stared into the deep dark forest before him." Demitri's castle lays at the top of the dark mountain." He started.

" Then we are close." Said lefty. There was another pause, then he spoke," You know, Sabriel seemed....odd. When she mentioned Jedah, she sounded as though....she knew him herself. That she is hidding something from you.

" Are you saying she knows more then she claims?" D asked as he began to ride through the darkness of the Haunted Forest.

" Well, she might....”

“ Thats enough.” D said firmly. With that, lefty remained silent. D glanced around slowly and pulled his horse to a stop.

“ What? What is it?” The face asked.

" Quiet. "D muttered and dismounted. He drew his sword slowly. A large bee like creatures flew from the trees and leapt towards D. Kicking him back. D cased his sword, knowing he could take her easily, maybe.

When she leapt up to kick him again, D lifted his arm and blocked her kick and shoved her back. Then kicked her hard into a boulder. She glared and ran towards him again, D ducked her on comming knife, and grabbed her leg, swinging her to the ground.

He turned to face her, she took to the air with her wings and aimed her large stinger towards him. This time D had to draw his sword, and as she came into him. He struck. Once she hit the ground,there was a moment's pause. She writhed suddenly as her abdoman slipped in half. D approached her, kicked her to the ground and held the tip of his sword to her throat," Doma sent you didn't he?" He asked firmly.

The bee, despite the pain answered," No matter what you do. No matter how many of his minions you kill, hunter....he will slaughter you...." She trailed off and stood slowly.

" I'm counting on him trying." D said and let her scramble off. He looked up towards the trees, there was no light what so ever shinning into the dark trees. He mounted his horse again and continued his journey.

Sabriel moaned slightly and turned over. Her hand feeling around where D would have slept. When she realized he wasn't there, her eyes snapped open and she threw herself up in bed. Immedaitely her eyes saw the note he left for her.

Gingerly she picked it up in her fingertips. Her eyes skimming it slowly:

Sabriel,

Forgive me for leaving without saying goodbye when you woke. But this parting note for now will have to do. I've gone to confront a curtain exiled vampire lord. Who has knowlegde of Doma. I will not be gone long. When I return I want to see you again. This time I need your help to find a place to stay. Until then....

Sabriel smiled and held the note close to her chest. She closed her eyes and imgained D actually there with her. But an abrupt voice caught her off guard," You little tramp!"

Sabriel looked over towards her doorway. Barbara stood there with arms crossed over one another " You should not be one to talk. You got pregnant with Daniel when you were fifiteen...on purpose." Sabriel leered.

"Well at anyrate...." Barbara shrugged." So he's already walked out on you. See I told you he was no good. His father was after all a vam...." She paused and remembered that Sabriel's father was too.

" Mama!" The little boy, Daniel called running into the room." There's a blue man at the door to see Sabriel." He said.

" What?" As soon as Barbara turned her head there was a tall, blue skinned creature with blood red eyes and long blonde hair. Dressed in a long black trench coat like suit and tight black leather pants. His wings, which were snapped open were razor sharp and metal.

Sabriel's eyes widened in horror. Barbara screamed as his claws came up and swept against her throat. She fell to the floor. Choking, coughing up blood.

" Mama!" Daniel cried. The demon smirked evily and reached for his back and from his wings formed a massive scythe.

" Wait!" Sabriel ran from the bed and gathered her nephew up in her arm. Naked or not. She had to save him.
The demon's slender fingers lifted from the scythe he lowered his hand towards her and as if controling her mind as a puppet. Smoothly lifted her to her feet before him. He stare into her frightened green orbs. She stared back.

' You knew this day would come.' His mind said to her. She merely hung her head and nodded. Abruptly the demon slammed his palm into her forehead. " Shhht." She became dizzy and fell into his arms. Unconsious.
