THE MARK OF LOVELESS

Last Chapter - Chapter Six
Soubi\'s POV

He jumped, gasping, as a stinging sensation came at his hip. What was that? He was sore from the pleasure earlier, but this pain was sudden, as if something had suddenly bitten him. He jumped as it came again, sharper. He fumbled for his glasses and put them on, and sat up.
His right hip was smarting a lot. Soubi pushed and pressed at the spot, but it was only a little red. Grumbling, he walked into the bathroom and stood before the full-length mirror.
He heard the steps behind him and turned to see Ritsuka, who stared at the same thing he had just been staring at.
"S-Soubi..."
__________________________________Ritsuka\'s POV_________________________________
At first, Ritsuka was captivated by the sight of the man standing before him. That figure as it looked in the mirror was lithe and firm and sensual. He wanted to run his hands over Soubi...a flush came to his cheeks at the thought of what he had just done with Soubi. But it had felt so amazing...he had never thought anything could feel so good....and to hear the sounds Soubi made...mmm.
Then, Soubi turned around, and immediately Ritsuka\'s eyes were drawn to a strange mark on Soubi\'s waist, right above the hip: It was the word LOVE, curved in the shape of a heart, with a black mark striking through it to cancel it out. LOVELESS. This was the very same mark that Ritsuka had suddenly discovered emblazoned on his own right hip mere weeks ago.
"Soubi...you are..."
The man smiled, and his smile was not at all sad or regretful. Those long fingers reached up and grabbed the bandages that Ritsuka was so familiar with seeing around the man\'s neck. Slowly they fell away, and as they dropped to the floor, Ritsuka gasped.
The mark of BELOVED was gone, and Soubi\'s neck was as fresh and unmarked as Ritsuka\'s. It was as if the mark had never been.
"Loveless. Now, we are both Loveless, as it should be, Ritsuka. Ritsuka?"
Ritsuka hung his head, trying to blink away the tears in his eyes. As the man reached out gently and turned his chin up, Ritsuka whispered, "I\'m sorry...sorry for crying. I\'m happy! We\'re finally both...Loveless. But I don\'t feel like I deserve the name, Soubi, because I have you. Finally we can be a team as strong and respected as any other team. Thank you, Soubi," his arms wrapped around the man in a fierce hug, "For fulfilling my wish."
The two kissed, and then stood back, smiling at each other. Ritsuka reached out to touch the Mark of Loveless on Soubi\'s hip, and smiled as he felt a little tingle at his fingertips at the touch.
The boy grabbed Soubi\'s hand and turned around. Smiling, he said, "Come to bed, Soubi."
