Torn

(Few weeks later)

Jennifer had been with the ronin warriors for a few weeks and had started to warm up to the other ronin Warriors but still hung out with Sage and Ryo. Recently they were all outside practicing once again with Jennifer and White Blaze watching in the distance.She felt a tap on her shoulder and saw Mia smiling at her. " Want to go to town with me Jennifer?" she asked. Jennifer nodded and got up. They were walking to the other side of the house when Mia made Jennifer stop. Jennifer raised an eyebrow. "What's the matter Mia?" she asked.
Mia shook her head. " I have a funny feeling that's all.Stay close." she said. Little did they know that White Blaze was following them in case anything happened. As they neared the jeep Mia bacame more stiff. "Jennifer get in the house now." she whispered. Jennifer didn't need to be told twice and ran for the house just as a dynasty warroir appeared in front of Mia."GIVE US THE GIRL!" his voice boomed out. His voice made the ronin warriors rush to the front. A scream made them turn back around they saw a dynasty warrior holding Jennifer in his chains.She was struggling.
"JENNIFER!" Sage and Ryo shouted. The dynasty warrior laughed and ran for the back of the house. They followed and watched in horror as he threw her into the lake. Sage pulled Cye over to him and whispered " We'll distract him, you go get Jennifer." Cye nodded in understanding. Cye slipped to the side and slipped into the water quietly and swam. He saw Jennifer a few feet below him with her eyes closed. He swam as quickly as he could toward her and tugged at the chains. He managed to get her free and quickly took her by the waist and shot for the surface. He quickly dragged her to the shore. He check her breathing and started to pump the water out of her lungs. He only had to do it twice before she was coughing up the water in her lungs. He held her up by her shoulders as she slowly started to get her breathing back to normal. "You okay?" he asked. Jennifer had her eyes only open half way and nodded."I-I'm f-fine.J-just r-really w-weak a-and c-cold." she stammered. He lifted her up and saw that the others were coming toward him. Sage wiped her hair from her face. "Sage I'm fine." she said softly. "Are you sure?" he asked. She nodded. " I'm just really t.." she never finished as she fell asleep. Sage and the other heaved a sigh of relief.
"Arigato Cye." Sage said. Cye nodded then placed her in his arms. Sage carefully carried to the house while the others watched. "We need to do something and fast. It seems Sekement will no longer wait to take her back now that he knows where she is." Rowen said. Ryo seemed deep in thought. Kanto looked over at him. "What are you thinking Ryo?" he asked. Ryo looked over at him. "Whose said we had to wait for the next attack on her. We take take it to him." he said.
"But who will protect Mia and Jennifer if we're gone?" Cye asked.Ryo looked at his tiger. "White Blaze will. We'll just tell them to stay away from windows and not to turn the lights on at night. Make them think they left along with us." Ryo said.
"Ryo are you insane! That's suicidial! Going against Sekement now when we don't know how the hell to defeat him is stupid!" Rowen shouted at his friend. Ryo grew angry. "Would you rather have Jennifer hurt more? If we face him now He will be to busy going after us than her! I made a promise to Sage and Jennifer and I not breaking it! I'm going now, if you wish to follow me then go ahead but if not keep an eye on Jennifer and Mia. Tell Sage I'm sorry." he snapped back before walking off. Kanto thought for a moment then ran after Ryo. Ryo nodded when Kanto said something to him and continued on his way to the jeep.
"Rowen keep an eye on Jennifer, Mia and Sage." Cye said before running after them to catch up. Rowen watched them pile in the jeep and speed off. 'Oh man Sage is going to kill me.'he thought before he walked back to the house.

Killing him was an understatment. Sage was furious when he found out that the others had left. Right now Sage was running with White Blaze toward Tomeada, but not before he had a few choice words for Rowen.Mia did too. 'I guess I am a bastard. This guy is hurting Jennifer and I doubt our ability to defeat him. I know we can defeat him.Stupid Rowen. Stupid!Stupid! Stupid!' he thought as he watched Jennifer sleep. 'Be Careful guys.'he thought into the night as he left the room.
