Chapter 7
“What happened?” Feilong asked alert.
“I’ve lost my bet.” Shuhei replied angry.
“Beg your pardon?”
The voice was cold.
“I’ve lost my bet.”
“Which bet?” asked Tao innocently, unaware of Feilongs anger.
“Well, actually Asami-san is giving birth. I had betted that it not happened before next week. Shit, 100.000 Yen are gone.”
Silence.
Both looked disbelieving.
“Asami-san gives birth?” whispered the boy.
“Yes, he did.”
Tao turned around.
“Laoban, once in your lifetime as a triad leader be useful and get a plane, I have to go to Japan.” demanded he. “I will see it.”
Stunned looked Feilong at the boy.
‘Be useful.’ he thought. ‘Get a plane. Have to go to Japan.’
He was not only a little bit amused about Taos behavior.
To tell the truth, he was proud of these little guy.
‘One day he could lead Baishe.’ he thought.
“Well,” he spoke, “we will fly to Japan, I have to see it with my own eyes, too.”
Tao turned back to Shuhei.
“And meanwhile you can explain everything. Start with the nerd.”
Shuhei looked at the boy, a little smile on his lips.
“Well, if we take Asami-samas plane we can fly immediately.”
Tao barged to the door.
“Qi Lin, get the car ready, we’re flying to Japan.” he yelled.
Shuhei and Feilong looked at each other.
“You have a nice son.”
Feilongs shows a sad expression.
“He’s not my son.” he whispered desperately.
“Maybe not a blood relative but surely the son of your heart.”
Shuheis voice was soft and a kind smile on his face.
“Let’s go, Liu-san, I suppose in his hurry the boy is able to fly the plane alone.”
Amused agreed Feilong.
