"Ok, is that one of Zachary's stores you're re-telling?" Chelsea asks Nikki.
"Nope, not this time. I saw it for myself." Nikki states.
"Are you sure you saw a light out in the woods last night?" Sakura asks getting nervous.
"I am positive." Nikki affirms.
"Why don't we check it out when after school." Rita suggests and the others agree. Sakura wasn't too sure about that plan though.

'I know I felt something around here somewhere.' Lee thinks making his way through the woods. He then hears the scream of five girls and starts running that way. By the time he gets to the source of the screams the only thing he sees is a source of bright light. 'That's a Clow card!' Lee thinks and starts to follow the light. A minute later, the light disappears, but Lee could feel the card.
"So, you believe yourself worthy enough to capture my cards?"
Lee turns around to see...,
"Clow Reed?"
"You will just hinder her. she will be the true master of the cards, and you will be an obscure name in a history of magic book." Clow states.
"Have you not gotten over my death, my son?" another voice states. Lee turns to see his own father standing their, alive and well.
"Father?" he chokes out.
"If you can't let go of the past you'll never be apart of the future." Clow states sagely.
"I don't know what or who you are, but my father is dead!" Lee shouts.
"Am I? Am I really dead, or are you still living with the pain of my death>?" Lee's father asks him.
"If you can't open your heart up to her then you can't possibly be worthy of capturing cards with her." Clow states.
"I don't even know her! She has powers because of some fluke of fate!" Lee shouts.
"And once the two of you encounter each other will you be a rival instead of a helper?" his father asks. "Until you think you've handled my death maybe you ought to go back home." he finishes and the two vanish. Lee stands there with his lip trembling.
'It was a card, right? I didn't see them right?' he thinks, but their words continue to echo through his mind as he heads for his apartment.

"Master Lee, you haven't touched your food. What is troubling you?" Wei asks.
"Last night, I saw both Clow Reed and my father in the woods where I felt a Clow card. They said things that I've not been able to come to grips. Why me? Why did my father have to die and why am I supposed to help this other card captor? Am I just standing in the way of fate?"
"Why do you not believe her worthy? Have you actually seen all of her captures?"
"No."
"Fate is a fickle thing. I and your mother know that the elders indoctrinated you into the belief that magic is a blood thing. I believe that the elders that run the family are just so set in their traditional ways that they can't see the forest for the trees. What makes her less of a mage than you?"
"I...,"
"The only real difference between the two of you is the fact that you've been training your skills ever since you could walk. This new card captor is just learning the ways of magic. Remember, fate will work to its own ends, no matter how much you try to deny it." Wei finishes and Lee sighs and decides to finish his breakfast. He'd go back to those damned woods and find out what in the heck happened.

'Who is she following?" Lee thinks as he watches Sakura following what looked to be an older version of the green eyed girl. He follows the pair to a clearing and Lee's eyes widen. the card was trying to lead her off a cliff. Quickly, Lee gets to the bottom of the cliff and waits. Maybe she would be able to break out of the spell she was under. 'This has to be the illusion card. Ok, that card is getting captured.'
"Element...,light...," Lee begins but he stops seeing the girl about to fall. "Element, wind, come to my aid!" he shouts and the unconscious Sakura is grabbed by a column of air by Lee and is safely put onto the ground beside him.
"So, you've returned." Clow Reed states.
"Illusion card! I won't be talked down to by a Clow card!"
"So, you know my true nature, but you don't have the ability to capture me." Clow states.
"We'll see about that. You're only a false visage of the greatest sorcerer in the world. You're not the real thing." Lee states readying his sword.
"Then let's just see how real I am." Clow states and throws a spell at Lee who avoids it.
'Remember, stay confident, but not cocky. The illusion card seems to know that it can attack my confidence. well, I just won't give it that opening.' "Force, know my plight. Release the light. Lightning!" Lee shouts. the attack misses by inches.
"Do you really think you could hurt me with that weak attack?" Clow Reed asks.
"I'm only begun to fight." Lee states. "Wind!" he shouts and the wind attack picks up a tree and the fallen tree is thrown at the card. Most of the wooden projectile misses the card, but several of the thick branches catches the illusion of Clow Reed hard. The card falls down and returns to card form and floats over to land onto Sakura's body.
"Looks like I'll have to get her home." Lee says to himself. Reluctantly he lifts her up into his arms and starts heading for her home.

"Have a late night?" Wei asks his charge the next morning.
"Have you ever had to sneak an unconscious girl back home after battling the illusion card, Wei?" Lee asks and Wei smiles.
"It seems you're starting to understand. I've got your scores, you'll be starting tomorrow." Wei states and Lee sighs. His first of school was the furthest thing on his mind.
