Chapter 8
Leon watched the rise and fall of D\'s chest as he slept. The night had been an eye opener for Leon to say the least. Slipping from the bed he walked into the lounge. The Irith opened it\'s eyes. *You are well?* Leon smiled.
\"Very well, very fucking well!\"
*You must enjoy your time with D, listen to him when he asks you too, believe what he tells you and do as he asks.*
\"You know what he\'ll tell me?\" Leon shook he head, something was bothering me but he couldn\'t figure it out.
*Yes because I know the heritage he has, he carries a great trouble within him. Love him and it will help.*
\"But you won\'t tell me anything?\"
\"No the choice is his, only his.* Leon finally realised what was bothering him.
\"Fuck! You are talking to me!\"
*I could have spoken with you the first time I met you but I knew we were not fated to speak until this moment.* The Irith\'s tone reminded Leon of D when they first met, a slightly dismissive tone as if nothing that Leon did mattered. *You are worried and you should be, you know nothing about D beyond his love. What you don\'t know you should fear because it can destroy you, but know this Human, he loves you beyond any mortal understanding.*
\"Fuck, I hate metaphysical discussions before breakfast!\" The Irith leapt gracefully from the chair, closed it\'s eyes and shimmered. The shimmer became a young Chinese man. \"Now I must leave you. Tell the Count that my duty is done and that I would have him know that I\'m truly a Sky Kami.\" He paused thinking for a moment. \"Leon, I give you a gift, my name, Matsuri. Call my name three times when in dire need. We shall met again.\" Matsuri vanished.
\"Leon?\" D called from the bedroom. \"I heard a voice, who was it?\" Leon walked back to the bedroom \"The Irith, or whatever the fuck it was.\" Leon flopped onto the bed.
\"Oh, whatever you mean Leon?\"
\"It told me some weird shit about being this...\" He thought for a moment. \"Sky Kami thingy.\"
\"What did it tell you?\" D looked worried.
\"Just to tell you it had done it\'s duty and that it would have you know that it was this Kami. Oh and it gave me it\'s name.\" D\'s eyes widened.
\"This does not bode well for a future, the ones above do not give their names lightly and not without jeopardy. Use it when all else has failed and even then think before you do.\" D felt a breeze upon his cheek. *Fear not your Grandfather, he will understand after a time but your father is beyond reason, consumed by his hated for the humans.* D sighed, Leon moved over to him. \"We\'ll be okay D-love whatever happens. I love you and that is what matters.\"
\"Yes, dear Leon.\"
\"Hey, what happened to that girl anyway, won\'t the family be upset that the pet has vanished?\"
\"Oh Leon, they returned it. There were some... problems. Mrs Andover did not appreciate how much her daughter changed. The girl went from cute to enjoying pleasures of the flesh.\"
\"She became a complete slut in other words.\"
\"You may say that, innocence is lost at a price, dear Leon. Sometimes the price is not what we expect.\"
\"I guess Mrs Andover will not be giving to the company to Lissa then.\"
\"I think not, she wanted Lissa to become ruthless and ambitious, like her but my pets can only give what the person is capable of.\" D sighed.
Leon looked over to the clock. \"I have to be a work in a couple of hours and the hotel will probably want the room back. Reckon we can get distracted for a little while before I leave.\" D smiled and ran in hand down Leon\'s body. \"I think we may.\" Leon smiled.
\"Let me make love to you D.\" They fell into each others embrace.
The evening found D back in his shop. \"Good evening my pets, I think Detective Orcot will be more aware of you now, be careful in what you say.\" A hyena came toward him.
*I smell him on you, you are lovers. I\'m sure your family are so happy with this.* It laughed with venom, and ran out of the door. D smiled and said to the room. \"The tree that does not bend with the wind, breaks.\" The future would be interesting.
