If you seal me away I'll get out again and someone else will have to take up the task of fighting me." Sian says coming close to the two halves of the lovers card. 'Do you think we should return to our brothers and sisters?" the male half asks.
'Yes,' she simply answers.
"I do have a dilemma on my hands. You've got that shield up protecting yourselves from the card and my attacks. Karthing is shooting at me from behind said shield making my task even more difficult. You are causing me a lot of trouble, lovers card. I'm going to have to destroy you." Sian says with the end of his staff glowing black.
"We don't think so." the lovers card says in unison and flip away from Sian to land right in front of the shield.
"What are you doing!?" Sian screams out.
"Seal us away and allow us to join our siblings." the female half of the lovers card requests of Sakura.
Sakura smiles and lifts the staff. "Lovers card, renounce your dark master and draw your strength from my light."
"No! I won't lose another card!" Sian shouts and a magical game of tug-of-war begins between Sakura and Sian. Lee raps his arms around Sakura and grips the staff adding his magic as well. The shield card is forced to return to card form because of the strain that its master was putting on her magic. It appeared that Sian would win, but the combine powers of the two mages won out and the complete lovers card flies into Sakura's hand. The two mages fall to the floor panting out of breath.
"It's...,over...,Sian. I've got...,another one...,of your...precious...,rouge cards." Sakura says trying to catch her breath.
"You may have three of my cards, but you waisted a lot of power trying to do it. Now I can finish you off." Sian says smirking.
"Why don't you shut the hell up!" Meilin cries out and both her and Wulf charge him. He dodges the charge, but he almost got a blast of cold from Josh.
"It appears that I must retreat." Sian states seeing Kero heading for the roof where they had been fighting. The group relaxes as Meilin and Wulf help Lee and Sakura to their feet.

"You two certainly continue to impress me. Pulling that one from Sian's influence means that he will have to rely on the demon card more than ever. Now, what did the two of you need to tell me that couldn't be said in front of the others?" Kero asks Sakura and Lee who were both in Sakura's room. "Hm, the two halves of the lovers card can communicate to each other telepathically, but I didn't think it could pass that ability on to others." Kero says looking thoughtful.
"The card is trying to bond them." Yue, who had quietly come through the window, states.
"Bond them? Are you sure?" Kero asks of his brother.
"The lovers card is one under my jurisdiction. I may not be able to counter it's effects, but I know its nature. It Believes that these two have the purest of loves and has decided to link their minds. Eventually their auras will lose any distinction and they will truly become one. I'm not sure what this will do to my final judgement, though." Yue says glaring at the deck of cards laying on the desk. The two young mages look at each other wondering what they were really in for.
