Labyrinth Awakening

When Alucard returned to the Hellsing Mansion just as dawn approached, the soldiers outside the barracks cringed away not only because they knew he was free but because he had an eerie gloom about him. He had thoroughly enjoyed his streak of extermination, that did not mean he was any less worried about his fledgling and unknown to his newly emotion filled heart, the love of his eternal life. Seras was the one thing that had actually brought back some semblance of light in his dark eternity of night. She was able to make him laugh with the simplest of actions, whether it was because of her own klutzy attacks every so often or with the slightest hint of laughter in her own eyes.
Even though this young woman was no longer a human, able to grow old and enjoy the simplest of pleasures of life, she enjoyed being a Draculina. Above all that she found the light in the dark, if there was the tiniest bit of hope to be found, she would find it and make it grow brighter than anything in the darkness. She was his only hope to not be void of emotion for all eternity, his hope for a life companion to walk the road to infinity with, to laugh be free to be loved most of all. And now, all because of Vincent and his moronic attempt at revenge, Alucard may have completely lost everything that mattered to him now.
He no longer cared about being the strongest No Life King in the whole world, or fighting beyond all hope against an opponent. He had been able to fight and kill every single one of the fragments of his memories that had escaped in the final fight with the Nazis because of Seras. He was able to follow her example in enjoying the life of the night, her laughter, her happiness, her love for the world and for him because she had brought him back to a state of being in reality. He was able to actually live again, to see the full moon blood red and the stars dazzling the night sky because he had fought for her, even though he didn’t realize it. He loved his fledgling with all his heart, even though it had come to a big surprise to him, it didn’t matter, all that mattered was that she would be alright. He didn’t understand why he was fighting so hard for this Draculina, trying to make sure that nothing would ever happen again. Granted she might be perfectly fine physically but mentally was an entirely different story. Alucard sighed in defeat at the thoughts in his head and phased into his chambers, taken a back quickly by the sight of his coffin.
This was a complete and utter shock. Integra sat in one of the normal table chairs beside his own coffin, with her hand holding his that of his fledgling. She sat silently, a wave of guilt and sadness radiating from her, causing her to appear older and much weaker than he had ever seen her. Seras was laid in his coffin, under the crimson quilt and black silk sheets completely naked, void her bandages, sleeping soundly. Her color was still very pale but it had a pinkish hue due to the multiple bags of blood that sat empty in the waste basket next to his coffin. One of the medical bags of blood was hooked to an intravenous drip into her arm, directly giving her the body the amount of blood she needed. Integra was startled when her former servant put his hand on her shoulder. She took this as not only the cue that Alucard would take over the watch, but that he wanted to be alone, as if to try and coax Seras from her self induced coma. He knew it would take some time before he could unlock all the mental barriers and gates in her mind, but he would do it patiently.
“Take care of her Alucard, she is unlike any other No Life Royalty on this earth. Her emotion and human reason are precious.” Integra walked away from the coffin that held her friend in its warm comfort and fought the tears, trying not to break down in front of her former servant, for she knew that someone needed to be strong, but it was no use. No less than one footstep out of Alucard’s chambers and with the door closed, Integra fell to the stone floor on her knees and wept all the restrained emotion she had kept in check for so long. Walter had just walked into the corridor and again saw his master leaning against the wall crying, another action that was totally unlike her character. He placed the bucket of warmed medical blood aside and took off the wool coat he was wearing. He placed it over her shoulders to ward off the chill that was forever embedded in the stone walls of the multiple basements levels of the Hellsing Mansion.
Walter knocked on the door, and from inside Alucard heard the knock and strode to the door. He could smell that Walter was not only carrying blood for him, but a highly concentrated blood pack for Seras. He could literally smell the antibiotics and painkillers in the blood itself. Integra must have ordered it from the laboratory, to not only help Seras sleep peacefully but also kill any bacteria or poison in her blood. Surprisingly Alucard and Seras could actually get sick. There were viruses that could actually make them sick even though they were essentially dead, but the viruses were dead as well. In Seras poor state, there was a good chance she could definitely get sick, and that was not something Alucard or even Integra wanted to deal with again. Walter entered the room after the door opened, looking at the No Life King, whose face was utterly devoid of emotion. Walter walked the few steps from the door, around Alucard’s orient chair and to the side of his coffin, where Seras lay asleep. Slowly, Walter eased the used blood pack from the IV stand and then replaced it with the treated blood, throwing the used blood pack into the waste basket and picked it up to empty it later.
Alucard took in the scent of the blood again and almost gagged at the close proxiemty of the overwhelming sterile smell from the treated blood. He had to remember not to breath so deeply next to that IV stand the next time. Walter had brought a hefty supply of blood for the master vampire and another closed case of cold blood just in case Seras was able to wake soon. Alucard took one of the blood packs and drank from the delicious nectar deeply. He relaxed back against his throne style chair, crossing his legs and enjoying the invigiration that the blood provided. He knew that soon there would be an onslaught of damage to his mental capabilities as he fought to bring back his fledgling from her coma like state. He didn’t actually realize though that Seras had only put up a barrier to her master and not everyone else. She didn’t want him to see into her mind.
Unknown to her master, Seras was only trapped in a surface deep part of her consciousness, and the reason she was in the coma was because she was using all her strength to keep the master vampire from her mind. Alucard had no idea that through this ordeal, Seras mental powers had increased over 100 fold, but she was still only had half of her master’s capability. She had been inflicited with so much pain and humiliation and even though she could feel the painkillers and antibiotics rushing through her system, making her feel heady and fatigued, she could not let him in no matter what. She had to fight with all her strength and willpower to keep him from her mind.
It was really the only thing keeping her from completely breaking down again. She had already lost her control and will once, she wouldn’t allow it to happen again. Even though she would only be letting go of her emotional control, she was too frightened to even think about it. She had fought so hard, with all her strength and it still had not been enough to keep the creature from the depths of her mind, violating and taking contrl of her. She didn’t care about losing herself physically but under no circumstances did she want her master to discover her deepest emotional secrets and he would be able to if she didn’t fight it with everything she had. Her heart would on display like an open book if he broke through. She needed to get away. She needed to run but there was no place she could run without him coming after her and submitting to his will. Seras knew that her master would never physically hurt her because any pain that either of them felt was reflected mentally on the other. They could not feel it physically but they would know just how much the other and was hurt. That was one of the unique things about their bond. Seras Human emotions allowed for this kind of connection with her master. The only reason that her emotions from the torture sequence had not been displayed onto her master, was because the creature had kept her connection hidden at all costs.
Seras needed to get away but she had no physical strenght left to pull from. She had had everything she had every possessed, her will, courage, strenght, sanity, and her heart ripped away from her in what seemed like a lifetime of torture but had only been a few days. She could sense that Integra and Walter had left her with her master for him to try and break through her barriers that were keeping him out. She was prepared for the onslaught of a ruthless killer looking for a way to save its favorite play thing but what she was not ready for the gentle caress and tender words that Alucard uttered mentally, to try and coax her from her sleep. Gently brushing his outreached hands on the barrier that she had put between them, he reached out a hand to the barrier that was like a clear crystal glass and he could see her mentally wrapped in a shroud of white and red, huddling away. The barrier was cool like ice and probably as hard as diamond, if his calculations of her mental barrier were correct.
He could already tell, if she didn’t know, that she was trying to hide from him, push him away and not let him help. But this was not the same man who had changed her, he was different some how, he seemed more complete and in control of his actions to the most precise whisper. He was still the same monster that she remembered but that Alucard had been born of hate and anguish at being locked away for 150 years. It was odd to actually be able to see that this Alucard was still the same but not. He was still a ruthless killer but his usual fanged grin of an expression had softened somewhat and Seras didn’t know why. He tapped on the clear barrier again to try and drag her attention. It did nothing. Nothing seemed to coax a reaction from her until finally she felt the release of his true power. Seras stood up quickly as if to block the onslaught of his ruthless power but she just felt it again gently brush against the barrier and dissolve it.
Alucard could barely feel his fledgling from behind the barrier, even as he dissolved the diamond disruption gently and slowly as not to scare her away from him. He did what he could not to harm her anymore than she already had been but he had to attack the barrier harder than before because she was trying to build it up. Even though she was weak enough that this kind of action could premenantly weaken her, unless she became a Draculina herself, unless she drank his blood. Alucard almost had the entire barrier dissolved and was about to walk through when he heard her scream at him to stay away. All this time he had thought she had been doing this only to protect herself from the monster from before but she was actually doing to protect herself from him. She was afraid of him and he could not tell why, she was so closed off that he had no access to her mental thoughts just past the barriers. Alucard, determined to save the fledgling who had saved him from eternal darkness, walked forward, even as Seras screamed for him to stay back, and grabbed her hand, pulling her mental image up against his own.
Just as her body landed against his, an overflow of images rushed from her mind into his, causing him to hold onto her even tighter. He watched countless grotesque scenes that had been acted out against her, each one filling more of his rage, his hatred but even more than that his caring thoughts towards his police girl. She had suffered so much because she would not allow the creature to gain complete control of her, because she would never in her eternal life betray her master. Alucard held Seras tightly even as she struggled to get away from him, pushing and kicking at his legs as he held her closer. As the final image played over his thoughts, Alucard almost dropped to his knees but he had enough strength to force the both of them out of her mind and back to reality.
Seras woke up instantly and sat up just as she Alucard open his eyes from probing in her mind and saw that she was awake. Seras drew the silk sheets around her body and slivered back into the corner of the coffin against the way trying to get away from the master that she had known all these years. She wasn’t afraid of him but she knew that by going into her mind he now knew how she felt about him and she was defiantly not ready for his response to it yet. She cowered in the corner knowing that he would disapprove of such actions but she couldn’t help it she was not ready for him to scold her for such human emotions towards him. What he did next surprised the hell out of her. Literally she was so dumbfounded she could not move.
Alucard slid across the coffin bed closer to her, with his back up against the head board, and started to pull her across his lap. She tried to stay completely still but her master would not let her. He mentally force her body to relax and he fluid pulled her across his lap, careful of the two IVs in her arm. He slowly removed the tape from over the two needles inserted into separate veins in her arm. He pulled them out with vampiric speed so that she would not feel anything but then again she was physically numb, sitting on her masters lap as she was. Alucard threw the needles into the trash can next to his coffin and then focused on readmitting his fledgling to the world around her. Alucard softly kissed the side of her neck hestitantly to see how she would react and react she did. She looked at him in utter astonishment, but what he did next was beyond anything she had thought possible and did not expect from the elder vampire what so ever.
Alucard kissed her, kissed her with all the pent up passion and aggression he had been holding back on. That night in Cheddar Village had been both a blessing from heaven and hell at the same time. Alucard had finally been able to gain a companion that he could truly see as his queen, but it was hell because he did not realize at that time how human she would truly remain. How her emotions would always play such a significant role in her missions and in her life. Her human side was one of the things he loved most about her. While he was as hard as stone when it came to emotions and the things of that area, her emotions were like the sea, ever changing and unpredictable in everything that she did. Alucard held her against him gently as he deepened the kiss and ran his abnormally long tongue against the seam of her lips. Seras shivered and allowed her master enterance, thinking this was just another dream that was occurring in her mind. But it was not.
Jazzy: So sorry this took so long guys, I know it has been about six months since I updated but the story is almost finished or is it. I might continue it even farther I am just not sure yet.
Alucard: I have been waiting for that for so long and you are going to prolong my satisfaction even longer Jasmine.
Seras: I really hate you Jaz, I can’t believe you did that to me.
Jazzy: You won’t be hating me for very long, I promise you. (picks up a blood pack and starts drinking it.)
Seras: When did you turn draculina, you were human at the beginning of this whole thing.
Alucard: I turned her but she drank the blood of Integra to be free.
Seras: Oh ok. !!!!!!!!!!!O.o!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait a second what!!!!!!
