Chapter 8
“Oh my God!” Dr. Mira shouted. “What’s that?”
“Is anything wrong?” both Asamis asked nervous.
“Well, I think it’s all right...” her voice faded.
Dr. Mira, Dr. Kiso and the OP-Nurse looked onto the bulge.
“Has anybody ever seen a thing like that?”
“No.”
An unisono reply.
“First things first. Deliver the babys. Anything else can wait.” Asami-san ordered.
“You ‘re right. Okay, here is number one.”
With that Dr. Mira opened a amniotic sac, pulled the baby out, cutted the umbilical cord and hands over the little one in the waiting hands of a child nurse.
One butt-smack and then - a scream.
He wasn’t loud.
But piercing.
“A baby boy, ten fingers, ten toes and a nice little affic between his legs.” stated the nurse.
She went over to the other side of the room where the lukewarm water for the cleaning, the diapers and the clothes were.
Meanwhile Dr. Mira removed the sac out of the stomach.
Then she makes the same procedure.
Open a sac, removing the baby, cutting the cord, hand over the baby to his nurse, removing the sac.
There was a sac for each baby.
She didn’t know that this was possible.
“A boy.”
“A little baby boy.”
“A boy again.”
“Oh, such a lovely little boy.”
“It’s not a girl.”
Each child nurse cleaned ‘her’ baby, the meanwhile arrived baby doctor checked them and then they were put into their diapers and clothes.
Every playsuit had a number and a special color so that it wasn’t possible to mix up the children.
Dr. Mira sighs with relief.
“That were all babies. Now we must clean the stomach so we can sew him up. By the way, how much are they?”
“Six little boys.” Dr. Kiso was stunned.
“Six? Yay! Haven’t you guys nothing else to do?” Dr. Mira was stunned, too.
