Epilogue. A fancy way of saying it�s not over
Jamie-Jessica Ketchum, or JJ as she was known to her friends and admirers grew up knowing what she was going to do with her life. She was a wild child and a bit of a tomboy with a shock of wild red hair. On her tenth birthday she made it known she intended to follow in the footsteps of her famous brother. She hoped to start her training journey with a Pichu or Raichu. It would be too much to hope to begin with a Pikachu like her big brother, but really, any Pokémon would do. Well, a good one to start with.
Approaching the home of Professor Oak, she called “Uncle Samuel? Sorry I’m late. I’m sooo mad at Mom, she forgot to wake me on time.”
“Back here JJ. I think lateness must be genetic in your family!”
She stopped to look in the mirror, she hated the way her red hair seemed to fly in all directions. “At least I have the good sense to keep it short” she thought.
“Did you save me a good one? Uncle Samuel?”
Sorry JJ, I couldn't save one for you, but I do think I have something interesting back here. Her face dropped seeing an old fashioned pokeball. It was pretty banged up and looked half melted.
“Now, now JJ, don’t look at me like that. This is a perfectly good Pokémon, it was injured for a long time but it’s perfectly fine now. We’ll even give it a brand new deluxe pokeball.
“Ohhhh, it’s an Arbok isn’t it? I know all about snake Pokémon.”
Post Script (Yeah, now it's over):
The prosecutor’s promising political career stalled on the eve of Jesse’s execution. First his sponsors were exceedingly angry due to the delay in justice. An anonymous source informed them that even before her mysterious illness he had promised to commute her sentence for certain testimony. Then there was the scandal. He had successfully prosecuted a Pokémon breeder for “breeding” an underage girl on a training mission. DNA evidence was apparently manufactured. When the girl in question had an abortion on the eve of the execution, routine tests indicated that it was the prosecutor who was the actual father. The breeder was released and returned to Pewter City. The whereabouts of the girl and prosecutor are currently unknown.
